We just returned from Tenerife and a stay at the Vigilia Park. The room was furnished to a good standard, and had a decent size kitchen and bathroom. There is no aircon in the room, but there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area. We found this was enough (June 2024), we even left the balcony doors open to help cool our apartment as we did not encounter any mosquitos during our stay. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The reception staff were friendly and spoke good English. I have two main criticisms. We stayed for a week, and the room was cleaned twice. I'm sure most holidaymakers agree that it's always lovely when you come back to the room and the beds are made, and the bathroom looks great. The other thing is about the pools. You have the choice or a lovely rooftop pool and sunbeds, or a larger one at ground level also with sunbeds (both are supervised). The ground floor pool has wifi (nowhere else in the hotel has free wifi) and a sign to say only food and drink purchased in the hotel can be consumed there, even though there is no bar/kiosk to purchase anything. The rooftop pool (4th floor) has a bar which is particularly lovely at sunset, but this area has no free wifi. The position of this aparthotel is quite good, being inbetween Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes and a short walk to both. This area is very hilly so wherever you walk, you will need to walk up a steep hill at some point. The bus stop is opposite and you can easily get to Los Cristianos or Playa de las Americas (beware weekends have a less frequent bus schedule). You should take a snap of the QR code on the bus stop to get the timetables of all the bus routes of the local operator Titsa. Finally, Lidl is the closest supermarket about 150 metres up from the hotel which we found very convenient.
