Avendo girato il Portogallo per due settimane possiamo sicuramente dire che questa struttura è stata una delle migliori sotto tutti i punti di vista! Molto pulito (cosa rara), camera spaziosissima, personale super cortese e veloce (altra rarità). Consiglio vivamente questa struttura! Maria, la proprietaria, è una vera professionista dell’accoglienza, la migliore di tutta la vacanza!

The view was breathtaking. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and the bed was great. The dinner with wine accompaniment was absolutely delicious. Maria, the manager of the hotel, was very helpful and had lots of good tips for us. We would love to come back!

I would give 6 stars if I could. Casa do Santo is absolutely fantastic. The location is gorgeous in the middle of vineyards in the small village of Provesende. The place is out of the touristy buzz down the river Douro, instead you feel in a more authentic environment. The hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated and the rooms are very new, spotless clean and with nice views of the vineyards and the valley. Delicious breakfast and great wines and port from the property vineyards. Big thank you to Maria for the excellent service and for accomodating our needs. She gave us excellent suggestions or things to do and visit in the area. We absolutely recommend this place!

I spent a few nights here with my boyfriend, but wished it could have been longer. Maria was absolutely fantastic from the beginning, providing lots of advice and recommendations. She was even more amazing after we got there as we hadn't had time to plan anything in advance, and helped us frantically piece together a wonderful itinerary for our short stay. Listen to her advice - she sent us to Quinta Do Come winery which not only makes delicious wines and ports, but have the friendliest team. One of the best winery experiences we've ever had - and we've visited quite a few around the World! The property itself is nestled in a lovely little village, spacious rooms overlooking a vineyard, with fabulous service.

Casa do Santo is rich with history. A beautifully renovated vineyard building combines the luxuries of modern amenities whilst preserving glimpses of its original detail. Maria is a wonderful host whose experience and knowledge of the Douro Valley will ensure your holiday is relaxing, enjoyable, and full of adventure. Be sure to pack a bathing suit! Look no further this is the place to stay in Douro Valley. Gorgeous property with breathtaking views from high in the mountains. Surrounded by vineyards the family owned property has a rich history in wine making and they are passionate to share that history with you and give you memories that last a lifetime. 10/10 We will be back!

This is not only a stunning location with sweeping views of vineyards, and a relaxing outdoor pool, the family-run hotel could not be any lovelier, and the people-perfeição!!! We were so very pampered and supported by Maria, and her Mom, Uncles, Aunts and neighbors nearby. The hotel was beyond our expectations! Built over an old stone foundation, they lovingly designed around the big old stones and have integrated them into art pieces throughout the contemporary design. It shows their attention-to-detail and care for the lands heritage. ❤️
