I have never experienced a bad stay with any Marriott hotels but my experience this weekend was unacceptable. I booked my one-bedroom suite on Tuesday for October 12-13. I even called that day to see if I could get an early check-in but Mr. Jason said they were booked but my room would be ready at check-in. I arrived at the hotel around 3:00 pm to be told I didn’t have a room and that he set me up in the courtyard across the street in an upgraded room. I was in shock and didn’t know why I wasn’t contacted or told I didn’t have a room when I called. I went over to the Courtyard and was given a room, not a suite. I never knew Courtyard didn’t have suites. I went back to the residence Inn and this is when Mr.Jason became very aggressive and rude. I told him the room was not an upgrade it didn’t have a kitchen and I needed the kitchen. Mr.Jason said well all I have to do is accommodate the amount of people in the room and that room has a king-size bed and a pullout couch. He got upset that I didn't Except what he gave me. He kept saying well that's an upgrade. I told him that’s not what I paid for and I prepaid for my room as a Bonvoy member. He said well we can walk over to the courtyard and cancel your reservation and you can find somewhere else to go. Then to add insult to injury, he said that if y’all want breakfast in the morning, I’ll give y’all permission to come over here and eat breakfast over here. He treated me like I did something wrong. I asked him how do I file a complaint and he said I’m the general manager, and you can file one with me. I said how can I submit a complaint about you to you? I have a rare condition at this point I needed to lie down. Let’s just say I was the only professional in this scenario and I didn’t understand why he was so nasty to me. He also was disrespectful to another customer he was dealing with and told her the lobby was being recorded. If this is correct I hope the person who is over top of him listens to the recording of how he treated his customers over the weekend. I am in disbelief that Marriott has someone with that type of demeanor, as a general manager representing their hotels. This was supposed to be a fun weekend for my son and it was ruined. I had paid for a chauffeur and a photo shoot. I had to reroute my car services and we couldn’t do the things that I wanted to do because we were in a small room with no kitchen and I had no time to try to find somewhere else to go. I have never been treated the way I was treated this weekend.

Non rispondeva a tutte le nostre esigenze di prenotazione.Abbiamo chiaramente comunicato le nostre esigenze di una camera di disabilità e di una camera doppia per ospitare 3 familiari. Nessuno era come ordinato quando siamo arrivati un'ora fa in tempo. La camera di disabilità aveva un tubo quando abbiamo chiesto di andare in doccia. Non c'era assolutamente nessun deposito nella stanza o nel bagno. Non c'era sicurezza nella stanza. Ci è stato detto che questo era il modo in cui erano tutte le camere di disabilità. Non c'era sapone nella stanza. La casa ha preso due richieste di sapone e la testa di casa ha completamente contraddistinto il desktop e ha detto che ci avrebbe portato una stanza per soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Questa stanza aveva una doccia a piedi, un piccolo set di trattori in posizione libera nella vasca, nessun altro deposito e una cassaforte che era inaccessibile e letteralmente sopra quello che è chiamato eufemisticamente un cassetto. Tutto questo per solo $250 a notte, 3 camere per 3 notti. Non un importo trascurabile. L'unico alloggio che abbiamo ricevuto dopo la richiesta è stato un colazione a buffet gratuito che era comparabile a un Holiday Inn Express, adeguato ma certamente non lavissante. Anche perché una persona ha fatto la prenotazione non avrebbe assegnato punti di fedeltà a nessun altro, anche se tutti abbiamo pagato per le nostre camere. Non dovrebbe essere così complicato cambiare questa richiesta.

I had a fabulous time on a girls trip this past weekend. Desiree provided the BEST check-in experience EVER! She recognized my status, offered me an upgrade and allowed me to check in early as my flight was there mid morning. When I told her how much I appreciated her kindness she even complimented me that I was just as kind. I was really starting to not expect exceptional service nowadays. But Desiree changed that for me. She really made my day. My friends and I could not stop talking about how nice she was to us the entire trip. The Gaylord is also a very nice hotel and convenient to everything we needed. Thanks again Desiree!

Disappointed. Let me begin by saying there was nothing wrong with g with our room. It was spotless as was the facility. The general look was beautiful. The check in process was odd. I understand showing ID but between that and having to sign highlighted policy pages regarding quiet time etc I felt a bit strange as though I wasn’t trusted to be an upstanding guest. There was no bar lounge - not a huge deal but just was looking forward to that. Checking the website I do see that it was checked as available I’m a review and not the hotel sight. There was a whole section of the hotel. Marked off as private with a big easel. Again odd .. access to the pool .. fitness? They charged my CC twice once for the room and again for “incidentals” An odd way of doing things even though I understand that an incidental hold is common. The bed looked beautiful but has soft spots where you kind of rolled into the center. Breakfast was MIA in the am Not even a cup of coffee. It was however a good price!

In generale, mi sento fiducioso delle esperienze che avro' in un edificio della corte e questo posto ha vissuto fino a questo. Sembrava che fosse stato organizzato il tradizionale giardino, ma è apparso che questo giardino è stato ristrutturato relativamente recentemente - tutto sembrava fresco e aggiornato.La nostra stanza era pulita e confortevole. Un giorno abbiamo avuto colazione al bar nel lobby - è stato sorprendente, ma un po' costoso. Eravamo un po' delusi che la nostra stanza non fosse fatta ogni giorno. Dopo l'indagine, mi è stato detto che non lo fanno, ma sembrava che ci avessero detto qualcosa al check-in. Inoltre, l'hotel era generalmente piuttosto tranquillo...eccetto per la festa disgustosa che si svolgeva in camera intorno alla sala una notte! Stayed for three nights during a conference. The ”cozy” room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Everything worked, but it was quite small -- cozy for one person, but crowded for two. It . Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant fare was ok but not memorable; the menu is limited, and it's the same for lunch and dinner. The most memorable thing about the hotel is the artwork in the hallways and galleries on the conference side. They were not just the same-old-same-old pieces ordered by the dozen by a corporate office, but rather one-of-kind, curated works from the U. Maryland holdings. It's worth taking some time to wander and view everything from 500+ year old Chinese scrolls to 1950's photography from the American South. It would be nice if, like a museum, the hotel had a guide to the art collection.
