The service and staff is amazing here. Nice spacious and comfortable rooms. The gym is small but good enough with free weights and a few machines in basement. Nice spa and amenities. Great "abbey" bar with nice old school feel. Great morning breakfast. Perfect place for families with small kids. Walking distance to Charles bridge, Old Town and Castle! Tucked away and safe!

This hotel was very clean and laid back. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Concierge Michael gave us some great ideas and set us up with a fantastic dinner reservation one evening. The room was well appointed and of good size. The heated floors were appreciated by my wife. We had a view of the castle area which helped! Drinks in the refractory were nice and the mood was really laid back and relaxing. My only negative that kept me from 5 stars is the breakfast. It is overpriced. Shame on me for not asking when it was added to my room charge at check in. The food at breakfast was average and it was near $70US per person. I have done $30-40 for nice breakfast at nice hotels. While still high, I get it. But this was more than should be expected and it really wasn’t anything better than average. Otherwise, the stay was superb. Great location for all we wanted to do.

Gorgeous Property in an already beautiful city! The staff was very kind at check-in and helpful if I needed anything. The room itself was fantastic and I really enjoyed the layout and decor. I will definitely be back and so glad I got to enjoy this property!

Outstanding hotel. Near everything. Restaurant, bar, brewery, and spa. Large rooms. Friendly and professional service. Restaurant is fine dining. In the bar, you can have smaller meals or snacks, and taste some of their own signature brewed bear and lagers. If hotels can have Michelin Stars, this one would have one star.

I liked our stay at the Augustine. Nice bed and nice pillows. The staff were friendly and wanted us to have a comfortable stay. I used the sauna and steam rooms that was quite good with the complimentary ginger tea. The hotel is central to most places the castle, the Charles bridge were all within walking distances. The negatives the breakfast is poor for a 5 star hotel and needs to be addressed quickly. We went to the breakfast room and the buffet was not great. We ordered from the menu not great too. It would also be lovely to have some biscuits in the room to go with the Nespresso coffee.

Firstly, the positives: The Augustine staff were exemplary. From the front desk to the dining area, every team member was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about guest experiences. Their professionalism and warmth were the highlights of my stay. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was truly outstanding. A vast selection of high-quality, delicious options ensured a delightful start to each day, showcasing the best of local and international cuisine. However, despite these commendable attributes, my stay was marred by a few significant drawbacks. The most pressing issue was the constant noise and vibrations from the nearby trams. This intrusion was not just a daytime disturbance but continued well into the night, significantly impacting my ability to relax and get a good night's sleep. Moreover, the mattress in my room was incredibly uncomfortable, contributing to back pain that I experienced throughout my stay. For a hotel of The Augustine's reputation, I expected a room outfitted for rest and relaxation, but the reality was quite the opposite. Lastly, the overall condition of the room was disappointing. Described as charming and historic, I found my accommodations to be old and run down, lacking the maintenance and care necessary to preserve such a distinguished ambiance. While I appreciate the beauty of historic properties, I believe that doesn't excuse the wear and tear that was evident in my room. In conclusion, while The Augustine shines in terms of service and culinary offerings, it's let down by its inability to provide a comfortable, quiet, and well-maintained environment for its guests. The constant noise, uncomfortable mattresses, and the worn state of the rooms are significant areas that need addressing. I hope to see improvements in these aspects in the future, which would undoubtedly elevate the guest experience to match the high standards of the hotel's staff and breakfast offerings.
