Hotel in zona Museum Barberini, Potsdam

Siamo stati qui come famiglia di 7 adulti per passare un fine settimana e festeggiare un compleanno circolare. L'hotel abbiamo scelto con attenzione e non sono stati delusi. I nostri punti di vista: 1. La posizione perfetta, direttamente all'inizio della zona pedonale, da dove abbiamo raggiunto tutto a piedi (centro, porto, parco Sanssouci ...) 2.Die Letti! Non ho mai avuto una posizione così sognante in un letto alberghiero, materassi molto belli stretti. 3. Il colazione è stato riempito rapidamente in una camera di porcellana elegante, con un buffet ricco e molto delizioso. 4. La gentilezza del personale. Anche altri hanno fatto tutto: le attrezzature della camera, la pulizia, i prodotti cosmetici nel bagno, il vetro set come un bel ringraziamento per la rinuncia volontaria alla pulizia della camera ... Ci siamo sentiti bene intorno e siamo molto felici di tornare.

Wir waren im Juli 2024 für eine Nacht im Hotel Villa Monte Vino in Potsdam. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite. Diese war sehr großzügig geschnitten und sehr sauber. Wir hatten Glück und haben gerade noch den letzten Parkplatz an der E-Ladestation bekommen. Die Schwierigkeit war allerdings, dass wir vorwärts eingeparkt hatten und damit unser Kabel zu kurz war. Im Hof umzudrehen, war nicht möglich und so blieb nur herauszufahren und die Ladesäule rückwärts anzusteuern. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Potsdam konnten wir problemlos zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war ansprechend angerichtet und bot eine gute Auswahl. Die Mitarbeiter waren zuvorkommend. Alles in allem hat es uns gut gefallnen.

Wir waren mit Kind und Hund im Dorint Potsdam. Ohne Hund hätten wir wahrscheinlich ein anderes Hotel gewählt, aber wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Gerade mit Hund ist die Gegend optimal, da es drumherum einige Grünflächen gibt. Das Hotel an sich ist schon etwas älter, leider spiegelt sich das auch in den Zimmern wieder. Überall Teppichboden, was ich in Hotels grundsätzlich nicht leiden kann. Anstatt Dusche gibt es eine Badewanne mit seeeehr hohem Einstieg. Trotzdem war das Bad in Ordnung für uns, es war sauber und es gab reichlich Handtücher. Die Möbel (Schrank, TV -Schrank ) waren qualitativ hochwertig und moderner und vom Platz her ausreichend. Für unseren Sohn gab es ein durchaus bequemes Klappbett. In anderen Hotels musste er schon für den vollen Preis auf der ”Besucherritze” schlafen. Die Minibar ist leider nicht gefüllt, Getränke gibt's in der Bar. Hier vermisse ich definitiv einen Getränkeautomaten, wenn man so schon nichts dort kaufen kann. Zum Abendessen: Hier sollte man aufjeden Fall in Potsdam was essen und nicht im Hotel. Das Büfett war ”gewöhnungsbedürftig” - auch andere Gäste am Nebentisch haben sich negativ darüber geäußert. Man konnte wählen zwischen Vorspeisenbüfett (ca 10€) , Hauptspeisenbüfet (ca 15€) und dem kompletten Vor-/Haupt/Nachspeisenbüfett (ca 30€). Wir haben nur das Hauptspeisenbüfett für 15€ gewählt : es gab Kassler & Sauerkraut, Fisch in Senfsauce, Kartoffeln/Schupfnudeln/ Spätzle. Das war es auch schon. Geschmacklich gab es nichts auszusetzen, auch wenn die Spätzle und Schupfnudeln schon vertrocknet waren ( als aufgefüllt wurde, war aber alles schön frisch). Das hätten wir uns tatsächlich sparen können und wären besser nochmal kurz in die Stadt gegangen... Nach dem Essen haben mein Sohn und ich noch den Spa-Bereich aufgesucht: das ist wirklich schön gemacht! Hell ind freundlich, ordentlicher Pool, Liegen und genügend Handtücher! Auch die Duschen und Umkleiden waren modern und einladend, obwohl ich die getrennten Umkleiden (Männer/Frauen) vermisst habe. Entweder gibt's keine getrennten, oder ich habe es nicht gesehen. Da wir alleine waren, hat es uns nicht gestört. Der Pool ist bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, was ich eine gute Zeit finde! Sauna/ Fitness-bereich haben wir nicht angeschaut. Die Nacht war ruhig und angenehm, kein Straßenlärm oder grölende Gäste auf dem Flur :-) Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut!! Das hat auf jeden Fall für das Abendbüfett wieder entschädigt! Es gab wirklich alles und die Qualität war durchweg gut. Wir waren allerdings schon um 6:30 Uhr dort... wie es später bei mehr Andrag aussieht, weiß ich daher nicht. mDer Hund durfte verständlicherweise nicht mit in den Frühstücksraum, so hatte man uns einen Tisch auf der Terrasse reserviert! Ansonsten zum Beispiel bei Regen hätten wir auch in der Lobby frühstücken dürfen (laut Aussage des Concierges). Hund im Zimmer lassen geht leider nicht, da man die Türen nicht abschließen kann und unser Hund sich die Türen öffnet.... Bei einer abschließbar

Der Hotelkomplex des „Vienna House by Wyndham Havelufer Potsdam” liegt nahe am Havelufer und lädt in relative ruhiger Umgebung zum Verweilen ein. Allerdings sind einige der Zimmer eher einfach eingerichtet und verströmen lediglich durch mehrere Holzbalken als Gestaltungselemente in den Zimmern etwas Flair. Als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in Potsdam ist das Hotel nahe der Straßenbahnlinie S91 und dem Bahnhof Potsdam Charlottenhof gut geeignet, für längere Aufenthalte würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Ich war im September 2023 zu Gast in dem Hotel und hatte Doppelzimmer 215 zugeteilt bekommen. Das Zimmer liegt im ehemals als Korn-Speicher genutzten und jetzt umfunktionierten Hoteltrakt mit Blick auf eine rückwärtige Grünfläche und die Außen-Terrasse eines italienischen Restaurants. Dieses wird offenbar recht gut besucht – entsprechender Unterhaltungslärm war bei gutem Wetter abends in unserem Zimmer bis Restaurantschließung (Mitternacht) bei geöffnetem Fenster zu hören. Das Zimmer hatte eine einfache funktionale Ausstattung mit einem kleinen Doppelbett (gute Matratzen), Wandlehne mit zwei Abstell-Brettern (als Nachttisch-Ersatz), Tisch, ein Stuhl, Telefon, Fernseher, Spiegelgestell mit acht Kleiderhaken und zwei Schubladen (als Schrankersatz…) und der Möglichkeit, einen kleinen Koffer abzustellen. Durch ein Rundbogenfenster hatte man einen Ausblick auf die Grünfläche hinter dem Hotel. Das Badezimmer hatte eher den Charakter eines Jugendherberg-Bades mit einem Waschbecken (wie man sie oft auf Raststätten-Toiletten findet) und einer Duschecke mit Plastikvorhang. Daneben beengt: die Toilette. Seifengel und Shampoo-Fläschchen standen bereit. Recht gut empfand ich das Büfett-Frühstück, dass im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Grünbereich und Zugang zu einer Außenterrasse (mit Tischen und Stühlen) angerichtet war. An beiden Tagen meines Aufenthaltes herrschte gutes Wetter, so dass Frühstück auf der Terrasse im Freien möglich war. Hätte man die nichts nutzen können an den Tagen, wäre es im eigentlichen Restaurantbereich zu Wartezeiten gekommen, wenn das Hotel gut ausgelastet ist. Wartezeiten gab es auch an der nur einen (langsam arbeitenden) Kaffeemaschine. Fertiger Filterkaffee in kleinen Kannen stand bereit, die „langsame“ Kaffeemaschine bot auch Cappu, Latte und Co. Die Frühstückauswahl war gut, alles da: Verschiedene Wurstauflagen, Käse, Marmeladen, Obst, Joghurts, Eier-Variationen, Brot, Brötchen und Croissants, Cerealien, Säfte, Wasser und sogar Sekt. Zwei Fahrstühle bieten im Hotel gute Zugangsmöglichkeiten zu den Zimmern auf den vier Stockwerken. Außen gibt es im Freien eine Raucherecke mit Outdoor-Sofa. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle S 91 ist nahe dem Einfahrtsbereich des Hotels an der Zeppelinstraße und schnell erreichbar. Bis zum Bahnhof Potsdam-Charlottenhof sind es 6 - 7 Gehminuten. Die Innenstadt (u.a. Holländisches Viertel) erreicht man nach 15 S-Bahn-Minuten. Nahe dem Hoteleingang gibt es mehrere Parkplätze, die 10 Euro pro Tag kosten. An der

Unfortuntalely, we didn't manage to use the hotel for the purpose we came for. We booked this hotel in the nature to be able to rest, but the weather was extremely hot and there was no air-co in the rooms, so it was not possible to stay in the room at all. There is a cozy restaurant in the hotel which we wanted to use instead, but it was closed because of lack of staff.. We asked if we can just use it, without the need of any service, but that was not possible. In the end we couldn't use the hotel and had to look for another cafe around, which ruined our overall experience and made us not like our stay. There was an annoyance with the cleaning staff as well, that decides to clean your rooms at 8:30AM. Yes, 8:30 in the morning you will hear a knock on the door that will wake you up and ask your room to be cleaned. Afterwards, we hanged a do not distrub sign, but the maid still insisted on cleaning our room, went inside and opened our curtains which made the room very hot when we were back. Keep in mind that even though the hotel has some nice chill areas, you will NOT BE ABLE TO STAY IN THE HOTEL, so better look for an option where you can actually chill in the hotel, if that's your goal. Location is good at the river and next to the S station. Breakfast is pleasant.

Purtroppo, l'hotel ha i migliori anni. Le donne pulite non sembrano potersi prenotare e distendere. E la mancanza di servizio è scusata con la mancanza di personale. Dopo un breve periodo di pioggia e poi un bel tempo, l'area esterna non funziona più. (Dichiarazione: nessun personale per lavare le sedie) Tuttavia, pochi membri del personale sono per lo più molto amichevole e preconveniente. Mangiare ... naja .... Per questa categoria di prezzo si può aspettare qualcosa di diverso. La grande offerta di colazione e la stessa offerta ogni giorno lasciano passare il desiderio di un bel giorno di inizio. In generale, è molto peccato che si abbia l'impressione che questo oggetto si muova lentamente davanti ai cani. Finalmente .... La prenotazione di una stanza su qualsiasi fornitore online (si ottiene l'informazione che la prenotazione diretta non è possibile quando si chiama in hotel) comporta prezzi estremi. 240€ per una notte, con un colazione che lascia davvero i desideri, è in ultima analisi solo triste.

Abbiamo avuto una grande camera con bagno grande, completamente adatta per i conducenti di sedie a rotelle.Non ci inginocchiamo, ma bene sapere. Parcheggio davanti alla porta e nel garage profondo è notevole positivamente, altri hotel prendono soldi aggiuntivi per un parcheggio. Non c'è nulla da fare dal prezzo, si ottiene un buon controvalore. Il ristorante è relativamente visibile, la scheda di pasto anche, ma questo è abbastanza interessante per la grande scelta di bevande, i cocktail e le bevande a lungo sono molto preziosi! Non ci sono voli culinari, ma non si aspetta che per il prezzo. Alla colazione a buffet era 9.00 il frutto era tutto, si sarebbe potuto riempire. Ma tranne noi c'era solo un ospite. Sicuramente sarà meglio se il turismo ritornerà a pieno cammino.

Pet- and tourist-unfriendly place. My latest experience very much resembled extortion. I was charged 100 euro for dog’s fur on the bedsheets and 150 euro for dog’s fur on the floor (the hotel representative had to put quite an effort into scraping some with her shoe) and an approx 0,5 mm brown-ish spot on the carpet which they claimed to be “blood” (considering that there was an approx 5 cm black stain on the carpet as of my checkin which hotel apparently didn’t see as something of an issue to me as a guest). I used to like this hotel (despite being placed on several occasions in rooms with obvious sewage issues), until I stayed there with my dog. I presented my dog at the reception at the checkin (that is the receptionist saw the dog). Paid 15 eur per day pet fee and proceeded to the room. No additional rules, policies or verbal requests were presented to me. My dog damaged a pouffe which I informed the hotel about at the checkout and happily paid whatever was asked of me (200 eur). In addition to that I was demanded to pay 100 eur for some fur on bedsheets and 150 eur for some fur on the floor as mentioned above. No oficial price list was presented. No explanation why 15 eur a day pet fee wasn’t covering washing blankets and vacuuming floor was provided, all my questions or logical arguments were ignored. The team of hotel representatives generously offered me a 50 eur discount on cleaning (which I didn’t ask for) only confirming that the amounts weren’t based on any actual price list, because if the hotel really suffered a loss of 250 eur why would they “gift” me 50 eur. I considered it to be an extortion and suggested to call the police. When I came back after 15 min the hotel still hadn’t called the police. As I had an urgent matter and had to leave, I paid the hotel whatever its staff demanded. I think what actually happened is the hotel staff had accidentally or recklessly placed us in a no-pet room (as there was a carpet, unlike in some other rooms. I was placed into that room after finding out the one I was initially given smelt of sewage - repeatedly happened before). And instead of charging their staff, they’ve charged me, so that they can do (if they actually do) for some deep cleaning after an animal to make it suitable again for people with allergies. Staff’s rudeness and ill attitude with me as a client weren’t in line with the hospitality filed’s even moderate standards. Most customers might find this hotel pleasant - which it is, until it is no longer.

Sono rimasti a pochi hotel a Berlino - e questo è quello che continuo a tornare - posizione, e valore per soldi - design e comfort e tranquillità e armonizzazione di design - personale sempre molto professionale, il più utile e più accogliente e amichevole - il colazione è una meravigliosa indulgenza. By the time this incident happened, I have already completed a 4 days stay in the hotel and was willing to increase my stay. For that purpose, I went to Mrs. Hausweld and asked to please consult the availability and the price of the rooms for extra nights. In response, I was told that the final price, including the city tax for 3 additional nights would be 350 euros with breakfast included. Consequently, I was willing to go along with that reservation and requested to pay by card. Afterward, then Mrs. Hausweld offered me the POS terminal to go along with the payment, and the amount ascended to 419 euros. Due to that unexpected difference, I kindly asked for an explanation and was told that 419 euros were the final price, and if I was not happy with it I would need to leave the hotel immediately. As a result, I kindly refused to pay that amount and asked her to please consult the price for two nights instead of three. In response to that, the front desk manager told me that no more rooms were available for me and that I needed to check out now and leave the hotel. Following that conversation, I went on Booking.com and reserved a room for the same days, without breakfast, and surprisingly rooms were still available. Next, I went to the front desk and asked to please pay for my booking Mrs. Hausweld looked at me in an unfriendly manner and told me she could not find any reservation. After 5 minutes of searching, she could finally open my booking. Then, although I already provided a credit card in my booking, she asked me to show it to her because she was not believing that it was not mine. I answered that the card was in effect mine and offered her to have a look, but it did not have any numbers on it. So she got ahead to request me to write down my credit card details, including the CVV code, on a piece of paper as ”a security”. Afterward, I was asked again by her if I would like breakfast or not, despite I selected the no breakfast option on booking.com. A moment later I was offered the POS terminal to pay by card, which stated an amount 30 euros higher that the price I booked the room for on this site. Due to the reoccurrence of the same, previous situation again, I refused to pay and respectfully asked her why the price was higher again. Mrs. Hauweld answered in a very disrespectful manner that I asked her to have breakfast included and that I was confusing her again. After that situation, I kindly asked them to speak with her supervisor. She answered, that she had no supervisor and was the only person working in the hotel for the whole weekend. That experience left me in complete disbelief of her professionality and her being in that important role in the hotel. However, despite that bad experience with that particular staff member, I would like to note that the other front desk managers were very friendly and helpful at all times.
