Hotel in zona UFP, Porto

L'hotel è molto buono, il prezzo è economico e la camera è molto pulita e igienica. La posizione non è vicino al centro città, quindi non ci sono problemi se si guida. Ci sono parcheggi gratuiti davanti alla porta e ci vogliono 8-10 minuti per raggiungere la città in auto.

Checked in on 18/04/23 for a birthday treat with a friend. Staff were very courteous, nothing too much trouble. Hotel was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was plentiful. My roommate forgot her toothbrush and was given a free toothbrush and toothpaste. Happily printed off our boarding passes for us for our flights home. 10/10

Siamo stati a Santa Settimana in quanto posizione a 15 minuti in auto dal centro e un po 'difficile da localizzare l'hotel perché si trova nel centro commerciale . pulizia e attenzione del personale fantastico , installazioni perfette un po 'antica ma in buono stato . Portiamo il nostro cane e l'unica cosa che non lo lasciano entrare nella zona della sala da pranzo. Devi pagare un supplemento al tuo arrivo per il cane.

The treatment I received at this hostel was despicable, unreasonable and hostile. My flight was delayed for 5 hours and whilst in airport I received a very encouraging email from 'so cool' explaining reception closes at 9pm and if I haven't checked in by then I would have to wait to the morning. Having found somewhere else to stay for that night, I turned up at this hostel the next morning, the rigid lady at reception simply wasn't interested or concerned in the least of my predicament and informed me I was a ”no show” and my room was gone for the whole 3 nights I'd booked. I asked for a partial refund for the further 2 nights as I was now having to find somewhere else to stay and would have to pay top price, she was not interested to know this and told me there would be no refund and no room. Whilst I understand policies are policies I think a bit of allowance for unforeseen circumstances wouldn't go amiss. I had no control of my flight being delayed and had I not received the welcome text reminding me of reception opening hours I would have thought twice about contacting them, their communication was confusing and had mixed messages. More unforgivably is the attitude of the manager even when she knew I had nowhere to go and would need the partial refund to secure alternative accomodation, she was not losing any money and had sold my bed twice. I have used *********** for years to book hostels and I have never received such harsh heartless treatment. Whilst I get business is business, there's more to life than a computer database and rigid rules that don't allow for unforeseen circumstances. The rigid lady tried to tell me it was *********** who cancelled me but this was just a lie,. Thankfully the 'hostel Rosalina' saved my bacon and were a fantastic contrast to ”so cool's awful treatment. The receptionist was wonderful and helpful and her friendliness reassured me Porto was not full of heartless money grabbing robots. Avoid this hostel if you're not going to be there for 9pm or you have any chance of a flight delay. .

Comoda la vicinanza alla metro Trinidade collegata all' aeroporto. Ambiente carino, in special modo gli spazi comuni, caldi ed accoglienti. Avevamo prenotato una stanza quadrupla con bagno privato composta da 2 letti a castello. Materassi nuovi ma non protetti. Cuscini scomodi. Riscaldamento confortevole. Mancanza totale di qualsiadi mensola, anche piccola, in camera ed in bagno. Asciugamani non disponibili. Parquet con segni di usura così come la porta del bagno e della doccia che però aveva un ottimo flusso di acqua calda. Su 4 giorni, 2 gg. abbiamo sentito cattivo odore in camera. Costi food e drink non propriamente da ostello. Discreto rapporto qualità prezzo. Migliorabile con una maggiore attenzione alla manutenzione delle camere ed aggiungendo qualche piccola mensola (non è possibile posare una bottiglia d' acqua a terra!)

Nuovo ostello con posizione perfetta. È posizionato nel centro, quindi non è necessario acquistare il biglietto per il trasporto pubblico. Puoi camminare dall'ostello a molti posti da visitare Sono anche gentili e supportano se hai bisogno di aiuto Tornerò qui se vado di nuovo a Porto. XD

This place is actually an old motel that has clearly gone bankrupt and still tries to get naive customers to a trap. It smells of mold, there is no shower ( just a broken whirlpool ), there is no maintenance and the staff is clearly unwilling to look after the guests. To make it worse - if possible - they tried to cheat Booking pretending I was not there ( although I have my credit cards statements to prove ) just not to pay their commission. When I wrote this on the Booking review the owner was extremely impolite and aggressive , as his plote was denounced. Honestly, it makes no sense staying there even if it was for free. Run away from this joint!!

Great hotel with massive rooms! Spent two nights here and while a short distance into the centre of town (around 25min walk) it is still a very handy location particularly if you have a car with you (parking = €10 per day). Uber into town can cost between €5-€10. Breakfast offered a wide selection and everything was very tasty, particularly the mimosas! Would definitely recommend to others. Staff all very friendly.

Posso anche iniziare la mia recensione con l'unico negativo che potevo trovare. Questa era la zona di fumo direttamente fuori dall'entrata dell'hotel. Così, non appena si apriva la porta per andare a fumare sigarette, è entrato anche. E ora le buone parti, senza dubbio, gli hotel, il più grande attributo sono il personale. La nostra settimana ha iniziato con una accoglienza molto calda da un giovane che era molto gentile e molto utile. Purtroppo, ho dimenticato il suo nome. Ma non credo che sia importante, perché è un tema ricorrente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno . Un giovane che ha bisogno di una menzione speciale che lavora dietro il bar mi ha detto che aveva solo 20 anni, che non credevo, perché è uno dei più onesti, fidati e sinceri persone che ho la fortuna di incontrare. È solo che non tutti i giovani hanno un atteggiamento, ora devo dire che tutti coloro che lavorano dietro il bar sono stati fantastici e gentili, quindi a nome della mia moglie e vorrei ringraziarvi tutti. Ma Andre Martins sei una superstar dal mio cuore, meriti un patto sul retro e una promozione. Un giorno, il mio amico, sono sicuro che sarai il manager. Assolutamente niente era troppo difficile. La gestione dovrebbe essere molto orgogliosa. La stanza era fantastica, vista sul fiume era pulita e temperata con molte camere. Abbiamo mangiato all'hotel e ogni volta che la moglie stava correndo fuori dal vino, qualcuno venne a fargli un po' di bottiglia. Le sue parole erano esattamente come una principessa, è stato bello che il personale ci ha fatto sentire molto speciale, il cibo era molto bello e noi due consigliamo. In tempo utile, torneremo all'hotel, come era ben situato. Grazie per l'inizio del nostro tour in Portogallo.
