I always stay at the Comfort Suites Portland Airport when I am flying out of PDX, this has been my ”go to” place to stay for years! Very affordable and has everything you need for a short stay. I have never had any issue or problems, the rooms have always been clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff have always been very accommodating. They have a great little breakfast bar every morning so you can start your day without making a special trip to a restaurant. The parking lot is well lit so it feels very secure, I've left my car there for 2+ weeks and never had any problems. A great perk is that there is a 24-hour convenience store in the back of the hotel, as well as a nice sports bar that is open until 10:00 or so. I like that fact that once I check in I don't have to get back in my car to travel for dinner or snacks for the plane. I don't think I will ever stay at a different hotel near the airport, this one has everything I need!

This is the worst motel for sleep that we have stayed in for a long time. We were in Portland for 4 nights and expected the kind of motel we had stayed in before. Just so you know we have stayed here at least 5 times in the past. What we found was a motel under remodel. We asked if it would be quiet and about breakfast etc. We were told everything was great and since we were gone during the day the construction would not bother us. Three of the 4 nights the fire alarm went off and once more during breakfast. My wife was so upset since not only we were not sleeping very well we also did not know if there was a real fire and so we had to get up and check with the other guests ( no one called our room or anything. ). After asking around we were told this and other problems have been happening since the roof had been replaced 2 months earlier. Then when we talked to the front desk about the problems we were assured that the manager would make it right with some sort of refund or something. It has been days since we checked out and he has yet to do anything or return my calls. It should have been closed until the work was done. Do not stay here or trust this company.

Parking lot sucks it's very hard to get out and turn around not enough parking either the hot tub was closed was told by the front desk that we couldn't get a chair without wheels for our disabled uncle and then my partner found one downstairs in the breakfast area so we just took it and brought it to our room it's not a bad room it's just the service and everything is irritated they have no menus to let you know what is around to order from like pizza or Elmer's or anything the rooms are kind of small
