Very nice place in a quiet scenic area. Facilities are great plus dining is very personable. Deducted a star due to a front desk member who was rude to me during check in(plus couldn’t locate our reservation the supervisor stepped in and took care of us). Also,our door lock needed repair (the maintenance guy there was top notch and saved the day by fixing our door). Aside from our check in woes this is a very nice place to stay and will probably stay here again.

We really liked the location. We spent a weekend here and hiking trails are starting directly behind the hotel. No need to take the car to start. You can order a packed lunch that is filled with enough food and drinks for 2. The breakfast was great! We did not try the restaurant. Our room was to the backyard (into the forest) and after check in Friday evening we were a bit disappointed as we expected a view into the beautiful landscape. But next morning we had the sunrise on our site and sat in the sun on our balcony - everybody happy again!During hot summer days these rooms might not have the best view but should stay cooler than the rooms on the other site. The rooms are clean and stuffed with all you need. Don`t expect modern style furniture at this traditional house. Everybody from the staff was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna after our hike. Unfortunately Spa treatments are not offered at the moment.

Bedienungen waren freundlich und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Habe meine Zimmerkarte hinterlegen lassen, weil ich spät angereist bin - die Karte hat dann leider nicht funktioniert aber es war zum Glück noch jemand an der Bar der mir weiterhelfen konnte. Bewertung muss leider mind. 200 Zeichen haben - finde ich nicht gut.

Bei Anreise war unser Zimmer belegt. Klärung war schwierig. 2 Zimmer gebucht und bestätigt. Bei Ankunft nicht verfügbar. Das Hotel ist eines Best Western nicht würdig. Einrichtung aus den 80ern. Schnippisches Personal. Immerhin recht sauber. Frühstück bleibt ein Abenteuer.

als Ausgangsbasis für die Rhön, die Wasserkuppe ist die Lage ausgezeichnet, Wanderwege und Touren zur Wasserkuppe können direkt vom Hotel begonnen werden. Die Ausgangsbasis für Unternehmungen könnte nichtbesser sein, die Blockhaussauna und das kleine aber feine Schwimmbad machen einen Aufenthalt lohnenswert

sehr gut gelegenes hotel, etwas in die jahre gekommen, aber gepflegt. zimmer in ordentlicher größe. leider ist die kulinarik etwas wenig abwechslungsreich, wenn eine relativ kleine karte bei einem 3tägigen aufenthalt nicht verändert wird.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und zentral zu allen Rhön Highlights in der Nähe von Gersfeld. Das ganze Ambiente ist im Stil der 70er Jahre incl der Zimmer ( teils mit Balkon ). Hier gibt es auch einen grossen Renovierungsstau. Das Essen sowie Frühstück sind super - Preis/ Leistung passt hier. Die Zimmer sind aus meiner Sicht für den Standard zu teuer. Netter Service und schönes kleines Hallenbad. Sauna ebenfalls vorhanden. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden.

Hotel liegt sehr schön am Fuße der Wasserkuppe. Es gibt viele Wanderwege mit unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeiten. Der kürzeste Weg zur Wasserkuppe beträgt ca. 6 km, es geht jedoch ziemlich steil nach oben. Man kann jedoch auch weniger anstrengend in der Gegend spazieren.
Im Hotel werden die Gäste sehr zuvorkommend betreut. Man merkt, dass das Personal wirklich um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht ist. Die Gäste haben einen festen Tisch während ihres Aufenthalts und jeden morgen gibt es eine Morgenpost am Tisch. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der täglich wechselnde Wandertipp.
