Hotel con parcheggio a Ponta Delgada

Un hotel di conferenza in inverno, tutto è fino a 5 stelle standard hotel in tutto il mondo. Ma mi sono bloccato nell'ascensore per 3 minuti e non ho mai fatto perche' la porta si è chiusa.

Hotel bellissimo, vicino sia al centro che alla zona degli imbarchi per le escursioni. Camera e bagno ampi, puliti e ottimamente arredate e rifinite, anche se la mia dava verso una via interna e non vista mare e quindi la mattina si cominciava un po' a sentire la città che si svegliava ma comunque un sonno silenziosissimo. Cassaforte, Wi-FI. Personale gentile. Non gli dò il max dei voti perchè 1) un albergo del genere DEVE avere un bagno con il bidet (l'ho trovato negli altri due alberghi dove sono stato a Terceia e Faial di classe inferiore), che avrebbe trovato tranquillamente posto se avessero ridotto l'enorme, bellissima doccia e perchè 2) una sera abbiamo mangiato al ristorante molto chic ma abbiamo dovuto rimandare indietro la pietanza scelta perchè il pesce era poco cotto. Ma si sono poi fatti perdonare i gentilissimi camerieri con assaggini extra nell'attesa che ritornasse il piatto completamente ex novo e, devo dire, molto buono. Colazione dolce-salata ottima. Servizio impeccabile. Non posso giudicare il rapporto qualità/prezzo perche compreso in un pacchetto tour più ampio. Gran bell'albergo.

Le camere sono molto belle e spaziose. Avevamo anche un piccolo terrazzìno sul porticciolo. La colazione davvero molto buona, di qualità, con prodotti locali. Molta scelta e cuoco che prepara le uova su richiesta. Il ristorante dell’hotel prepara piatti molto particolari, che non hanno incontrato esattamente i miei gusti ma molto ricercato e con buoni ingredienti . Staff tutto molto cortese.All’interno dell’hotel c’è anche una SPA dove, nota negativa, non si può accedere liberamente ma solo acquistando un pacchetto piuttosto costoso.

Mixed bag Pros: * Maria B. at the front desk was professional and helpful * Fast elevator * Great hot water in the shower * Overall the hotel and hotel room was clean * Complimentary breakfast had good options * Small outside balcony with a table and two chairs Cons: 1- Hardest mattress ever- I have traveled the world and slept on hundreds on mattresses. This one was not only extra firm, but it had zero padding. You could feel each and every bed spring. Awful. 2- No working safe in the room. Technically there was a safe in the room, but it didn’t have the typical code setting device. It’s was just a non working safe that wouldn’t open. Odd. Every hotel room should have one. 3- No refrigerator in the room 4- No free parking. You can park outside the hotel and feed the meter and it’s free after 5pm. The hotel offers limited under ground parking for $8 euros per day. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the best areas of downtown. It’s not in the prettiest section of town but it didn’t feel unsafe either. There is noise from the airport, but it didn’t take away from the room. We checked out a few days early to go to a quieter area of the island with a more comfortable bed. This hotel is in a decent location at a reasonable price for a single night IMO.

We were very happy with the service. The receptionists were all very helpful, especially Bruno, and the room and beds were very comfortable too. When we requested a mini fridge, they efficiently provided us with one. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we, as hotel guests, still had to pay €4 to park our car inside. This should have been free for hotel guests.

The hotel is in a good location, close to bars, restaurants and centre of Ponta Delgado. The best part of this hotel are the attractively designed and spacious lounge areas. Unfortunately this does not apply to the rooms which are not very big and have limited storage space. Indoor pool (swimming hat required) and gym are good and the outdoor pool is set in a pretty garden. Guests are older, mainly Americans, Germans, Italians etc on bus tours and also a number of business people. The breakfast room was packed and very, very noisy as guests mainly going on tours, so all having breakfast at the same time. Gluten free bread was available on request and usefully all the foods are labelled with the allergens it contains. Pros proximity to city centre Close to airport (not too much noise, as limited number of flights) No single use plastics Spa - great Swedish massage! Staff are mainly very helpful Cons Feels more like a business hotel than holiday destination The air conditioning in the room makes a lot of noise! Reception area jam packed in the morning as coach loads of guests waiting to depart on tours Breakfast is neither relaxing or leisurely as too many noisy people milling around Cooked breakfast items are tepid at best, but mostly cold, even when they have just been brought out of the kitchen. No tea making facilities in the room. Coffee pods are €1.50 each Plug in the sink was useless and didn’t hold water

L’hotel è posizionato praticamente nel centro di Ponta Delgada. Camere molto pulite, bella la piscina sul Tetto dell’hotel, molto caratteristico il cortile interno coperto che da accesso alle stanze. Ottimo anche il ristorante sia per la colazione, con ampia scelta di dolce e salato, che per la cena. Da segnalare l’incredibile gentilezza di tutto il Personale.

Hotel muito bom para ficar hospedado, seja para uma escapadinha ou para uma estadia durante um maior período de tempo. Fornece uma experiência agradável. Comodidades muito boas, decoração bonita, boa limpeza, funcionários simpáticos e prestáveis. Quartos espaçosos e cama confortável. Zona do spa, piscina, jacuzzi, etc, é agradável. Pequeno-almoço bom e variado e o jantar buffet é ótimo, com várias opções e comida saborosa.

Sono stato in questo hotel intorno al 10 Agosto 2024 e posso dire che lo consiglio a tutti. Dista 6 minuti in taxi dall’aeroporto(10 euro) e circa 10 minuti a piedi dal bellissimo centro di Ponta Deldaga. Avrebbe bisogno di una piccola ristrutturazione alle camere,ma tutto sommato lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio. La camera doppia è piuttosto grande, moquette presente,letto long size e bagno confortevole,spazioso. Personale gentile,disponibile e cordiale. Ricezione del Wi-Fi ottima. Colazione a buffet intercontinentale nella media. Parcheggio a pagamento nella via;dietro all’hotel invece il parcheggio è gratis.

Hotel bellissimo. È stato qui come il nostro primo fermo sulla luna di miele e è stato un grande primo hotel. Le camere sono molto piccole (la che abbiamo) ma hanno più grandi camere di stile suite. Il personale dell'hotel è molto amichevole e utile - siamo stati fortunati a poter controllare un po' presto dopo un volo notturno per il quale siamo stati molto grati! La piscina è davvero bello e grande dopo un lungo giorno di esplorazione. Il parcheggio è gratuito se si vuole noleggiare una macchina. L'hotel è un po' fuori dalla strada da molti altri hotel turistici, ma abbiamo trovato la posizione per essere buona.
