Resort intimo (solo 6 camere), ideale per le coppie che odiano la folla, stanze molto caratteristiche e spaziose con letto matrimoniale ampio e confortevole con zanzariere tutto intorno, frescura assicurata dai ventilatori. Belli e silenziosi anche gli spazi comuni come la piscina e le terrazze da cui godere dell'alba e del mare circostante. Unico il fenomeno delle maree di cui si può godere giornalmente dal resort. Cucina top, piatti di pesce molto vari e di qualità elevata. Cantina di vini migliorabile. Consiglio vivamente la mezza pensione, per poter godere delle cene romantiche ed abbondanti. Colazione varia e ottima. Staff sempre disponibile a risolvere i problemi ed estremamente professionale e gentile. Plauso a Mark che ci ha garantito un late check out che ci ha permesso di godere di questo piccolo paradiso fino alla partenza.

Posto meraviglioso, vivi in prima fila il fenomeno della marea, nella più totale pace immerso nella natura e coccolato da tutto lo staff del resort! Manager e moglie sono stati gentili e premurosi su tutto! E il loro staff non è stato da meno! Il ristorante fenomenale!!!! Grazie di averci fatto vivere un week end da sogno !

We had a lovely three night stay at Pongwe lodge as part of our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. It’s idilc, relaxing, secluded island location, really made it a great honeymoon experience. Frank and staff were so friendly, welcoming and created a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was great, with brilliant service and the food was delicious, we tried lots of fresh, tasty seafood. We enjoyed a trip to stonetown on one of the days which was enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I came to pongwe lodge on the 25th September 2024 for my birthday meal and wow it did not disappoint, we booked a private meal with hotel pick up and drop off. Everything was seamless and amazing thanks to Frank on reception and Regina our waitress. The set up was amazing and the food was delicious we thoroughly enjoyed the Masai dancing and made memories we will NEVER forget! Thank you so so much. From Mr & Mrs Truelove

Amazing stay for 4 nights - Frank and the team are great. Very peaceful for the end of our honeymoon and the food is awesome. Special shout out to Neema who was amazing and organised a beautiful private dinner for us. Would book again for sure :)

Amazing and unique experience in this little paradise. Relax, connection with the nature, great food, incredible landscapes...and on top of all of it, an incredible staff always happy and kind, and keeping an eye on us in case we needed anything at any time. Special mention to Franck and his hospitality. 100% recommendable.

Franck and the team went above and beyond to make our entire stay as special as possible! We were always greeted with smiles and genuine kindness. It’s the perfect retreat for true relaxation with excellent food and drinks never more than a couple of steps away. Hakuna matata and embrace the pole pole lifestyle!

We stayed at the Island Pongwe Lodge during our honeymoon. We arrived really late at night due to a flight delay. Even though they welcomed us very friendly with some coconut water and sandwiches. The whole staff (including the managers) was super polite and very obliging. Especially Frank helped us a lot with every question we had, without being intrusive! It was such a nice place to relax and enjoy some privacy. We really enjoyed staying there and would definitely come back. It was above and beyond our imaginations.

We won a trip here and when we managed to get there, we were absolutely amazed! The scene was fascinating, the ocean was crystal clear and the hosts were really nice and helpful! They waited for us with fresh coconut. The Island has a really special, private athmosphere, you can enjoy your time with your loved one in a perfect, little paradise. I also have to mention the food, which was delicious in the restaurant, where there was a huge variety of seafood. Lobster tail was one of our favourites! :) Another great experience for us was sailing with the local sailing boat and snorkeling. Margarita and the team, thank you so much for everything!
