Pineda De Mar: hotel con bar

First impressions amazing hotel for children plenty of entertainment all day.Pools lovely areas but could do with a good clean along with sunbeds found it quite dirty.Food was ok but one thing I found everything in main restaurant was cold or luke warm.im not a fussy eater but didn't enjoy main restraunt breakfast was good but always cold.Ques were awful egg and pancake stations need to be separated to allow better flow.Also nowhere outside to put dirty glasses did notice not collected or some times life guard would.Snack bar was good but felt second glass service if you were all inclusive.If you paid for snack bar food was on china plate table mat and cutlery.All inclusive no cutlery and paper plates..Bar staff awful service .pool bar 1 person doing everything.Lobby bar bar staff service was awful they would serve paying customers waited well over 10 mins to be served.Staff hanging around talking even though they new you were there.All inclusive isn't cheap but certainly found you were second best.Wouldnt return as we only stayed as it was a family holiday .Nothing to do outside but we knew that when booking.

The room we had was on seventh floor but there were 3 lifts so no problem. The bed was to large singles together really comfortable with really good pillows and quality bedding. We didn't need blankets but they were in wardrobe in case. We had large french windows with a lovely balcony not overlooked at all. Blackout curtains with a thin curtain overlay which could be pulled across for privacy or to let light in. The furniture was good quality with a huge wardrobe with mirrored doors and shelving inside as well as ample hangers. Sadly the bathroom was a little tired reasonable size with hairdryer and toiletries but there was a bath with shower a bidet toilet basin and a shower cubicle squashed in it was very small and splashed all over in my opinion this wasn't required as it wasn't suitable for disabled clients. The room was cleaned daily unless you requested no cleaning, beds made and towels refreshed. No kettle cups or drinking glasses not really a big miss. Air-conditioning was free and a safe provided which had to be paid for. The pool area on floor above was amazing sheltered with great views plenty of sun beds and very clean a nice bar area as well with good strong umbrellas and sun shades. Reception were helpful friendly and efficient nothing too much trouble. Room wasn't ready till 2pm but we give key to a storage room for luggage. The food was amazing lots of different tapas and salad something different every night pastas and rice chips even hot dogs and burgers, very plentiful food looked pleasing to the eye. Breakfast was a small selection of bacon eggs sausage and beans the a massive continental selection with breads and pastries meat and cheeses as will as salad, yogurts and cereal. The juice came from a machine and there was a variety as well as coffee and tea, the piece de resistance was the cava served on ice beautiful.

J'ai été accueillie à 8h du matin par très aimable jeune femme , qui parlait Français, j'ai apprécié sa compréhension de me voir très fatiguée, et à pu me donner la chambre au 5e, au Soleil, au calme, plus tôt que le check in, je la remercie infiniment, j'ai été obligée de partir une nuit + tôt, pour un soucis familial, dommage, Merci aussi à la dame blonde qui faisait la chambre très propre , cordialement

On arrival, we were dropped off by our clueless tui rep, who was more interested in speaking on her mobile phone than helping others! Waited 30mins for room, when receiving our key they was an argument going on with a previous guest, if I'm honest this could of been sorted quicker then it was as they was children present including my own! Our room was basic, with no balcony, bath, or even a fridge, we were told a fridge is extra & if I'm honest, we didn't have a balcony, so a fridge would of been perfect as we didnt have this! Tv had no English channels apart from disney. Rooms were cleaned well, but most of the time, I did it myself as I have a little OCD when it comes to cleaning, I came to this hotel with my 7 year old son, who has an allergy to fish! This was explained to the staff as well as kitchen staff as I used my phone to google translate, I wouldn't of minded eating there if food wasn't cooked together, fish & meat was both cooked on the same grill as well as been placed on the same tray! This happened a few times so my son couldn't eat there at all, we had to pay extra & eat out as even though I mentioned this to staff nothing was done! On the last day, I spoke to the manager and told them about my sons fish allergy as I was told staff were going to pass the message on which was never done! The manager apologised & told me I would be given a refund through Tui & he would help all he could! Which was lies as Tui refused to give me a refund & said the manager should have given me this when we left! (The manager wasn't going to give me a refund it was lies) I spent an extra £250 eating out every night when this hotel could have sorted my sons dietary needs as most places do theses days! We had 2 days of rain and to be honest they was no entertainment or even music playing in the bar which made our holiday glumy, we were offered a few board games, the entertainment at night time was mainly for adults, I wouldn't recommend taking your children here as it's more of an adult environment! The hotel is basic, no fridge unless you pay extra, the hotel was clean, some staff go above & beyond for people, they was a young lad with glass and a lady called Sally I think who where absolutely amazing, they knew about my sons allergies & apologised, I do wish more help was given though like a refund the manager promised me! The pool area is small, we never went in to the pool as the beach was more fun, the hotel is very basic and I would recommend going somewhere different as the money we paid for this hotel wasn't worth it, some of the guests are so rude, pushing in, mucky looks & completely blanking people, I felt uncomfortable in this hotel as people seemed to judge me due to having tattooes, (my body, my rules) I wouldn't go here again as it was boring, and nothing much for children, we did meet a few couples who were lovely & even they told me they would never go again as it's changed, it felt like management just wanted my money & didn'

Abbiamo appena finito di passare una bellissima settimana di ferie io mia moglie Anna e mia figlia Adele in questo Hotel. E ne siamo stati molto soddisfatti. L’Hotel è molto bello e pulitissimo. Le stanze sono spaziose, ben arredate è sempre ben pulite dal personale Personale che è sempre molto cortese e disponibile nell’aiutare sia alla reception sia in sala Un altro punto a favore è la cucina, tutti e tre i pasti sono a buffet, con grandissima scelta fra dolce e salato, carne o pesce o vegetariano, il tutto sempre molto buono. La struttura è molto ben tenuta, pulita e comodissima per scendere in spiaggia. È fronte mare. E se preferite c’è una comoda piscina circondata da sdraio e ombrelloni dove potrete degustare qualche cocktail preparato dal personale del bar. Inoltre mattino e pomeriggio a bordo piscina e in quella dei bimbi delle gentilissime animatrici intrattengono i bimbi con giochi e attività. Alla sera invece propongono la baby dance per farli scatenare È persino presente una palestra nel caso uno volesse farsi prendere dai sensi di colpa per aver mangiato troppo. Anche andare in centro a fare due passi la sera è comodissimo. Si è all’inizio della via principale dei locali e negozi. Concludo dicendo che passare le mie ferie in questo hotel è stato veramente soddisfacente e ringrazio il personale per la grande disponibilità e cortesia.
