Namaka Resort Kamala

It is absolutely gorgeous! I was so surprised to see this beautiful resort when we got to it’s reception. Stunning views and well kept buildings. Service is great. Very clean room. They have shuttle to Kamala beach which is also a very beautiful beach (not to Patong anymore). Breakfast is great, with many choices. They also decorate our bed for our anniversary. This is the place for you!

First time to Thailand and choosed Phuket. No regrets! Hotel is superb. Free baby cot avail too. View is perfect. Just that, heading to our room needs to walk uphill but no worries as they hv buggy service to your room that takes only about 30 secs. Has a starbucks at the lobby! Halal breakfast avail as claimed by receptionist. About 15 to 20 mins drive from patong beach.

All staff from cleaning up to management, absolutely amazing and wonderful. All staff went out of their way to help you, ( from laundry services to the right cocktail at the pool bar. I will highly recommend Namaka. Breakfast is okay, hope that I will see bacon with my next stop on the menu, also remember to budget more for transportation....

I stayed in the Premier Sea View room. There were issues with my room where the door would not double lock and the balcony door was not sealed properly. This left me with two nights of sleeping and waking up in humidity. When brought up to hotel staff, they immediately fixed it. The breakfast is plentiful with great variety. The location is quite secluded but allows you to enjoy the resort itself. The hotel could definitely invest in an upgrade though.

I stay in this hotel for 3 nights, the view is fantastic, see view with balcony. But need to climb 3 level everyday, there is no lift..Everyday in and out, feel very tired. The cleanness is ok, but the aircon is too noisy.

decent hotel. Breakfast ok. Staff very friendly and nice. But I don’t know how it is a 5 star. Cleanliness isn’t great floors don’t get cleaned much across the hotel and rooms. If u want a decent hotel and aren’t bothered much then it can be your go to. Entrance looks nice. Sea views are amazing from the balcony.

Namaka was a nice resort situated on the side of the mountain at Kamala beach. It sits above the tsunami danger line so the place feels safe. It is very private and quiet, the staff are friendly and also very helpful especially getting up and down the steep hill to get to your room. Breakfast in the morning was always such a treat, as they have a variety of foods offered ranging from light to heavy. There is also a very convenient Starbucks by the reception area that overlooks the ocean. They have two pools that can be used, a pool table in the lounge area, and a fitness center which is easily accessible. I would say the only downside is the parking- because of its location, there is limited space to park cars in the actual hotel grounds. Most guests who bring their own cars will have to parallel park on the side of the road outside the hotel.
