The hotel is very well located and has stunning views from the terraces. Our room was street side but quiet. The half board program was excellent. Dinner included couvert, wine, salad or soup, main and dessert. Excellent! Breakfast was typical but everything was fresh and plenty to choose from. We did not need air conditioning and were fine with the window ajar. The Wi-Fi was the only drawback as it tended to be spotty.

Siamo arrivati stamattina, dopo aver sentito dei commenti bellissimi, dopo colazione, da un ospite che è rimasto qui ieri. Non siamo stati delusi, il posto è una vera gioiello! Mentre la prenotazione, qualche mese fa, mi è riuscita a sbagliare le date del mio viaggio e sono stato contattato molto rapidamente, da parte del personale, per chiedere questo; il mio errore è stato corretto senza dramma e ho avuto molto buone vibrazioni sul luogo. Ora, purtroppo, sono un sonno molto leggero, sono piuttosto spaventoso e la stanza che ci è stata assegnata ha ignorato la linea ferroviaria, dietro l'hotel. Mentre ho pensato a come gestire, tre treni sono passati e mia moglie mi ha detto che avrei dovuto combattere per dormire. Ho fatto un giro per la ricezione, mi sono scusato e ho spiegato il mio predicamento. Non solo io sono stato immediatamente cambiato in una stanza più tranquilla, ma anche una stanza più bella del primo. Sono sicuro che questo metterà la scena per il resto del nostro soggiorno qui e mi sento molto felice e grato per l’aiuto che ho ricevuto. Resta all'Original Douro Hotel, è il posto più bello che abbiamo soggiornato finora durante questa vacanza e sono sicuro che sarete felici come io.

Molto debole. Solo il prezzo è buono. Camera 112 con odore di sigaretta impregnata. Sembra che non lascino le finestre aperte fino a che l'odore passa. La scatola del doccia sembra molto fragile, aprendo/chiudendo. La notte, quando siamo tornati dal ristorante, la ricevimento era piegata a fumare, come se qualcuno avesse fumato lì. Ci avevamo chiesto un'acqua e non c'era. Dovevamo uscire e comprare fuori dall'hotel. I letti sono ragionevoli, ma si dividono abbastanza. schermo della TV molto piccolo. La porta era afferrando sul pavimento e difficile da aprire/chiudere. Mancanza di manutenzione!!! La stanza è vicino alla strada. Anche con vetri doppi, è molto rumoroso. Il caffè è soffribile con poche opzioni, e viene servito con latte, e non con latte. Caffè con altre opzioni (ciocolata, cappuccino, ecc). Nessun acqua è disponibile.
