"I've travelled a fair bit, but I rarely feel the need to sit down and write a review with this much gratitude. A couple of friends and I booked a few days here on a whim, and it turned into one of the most beautiful little holidays we've had together. Let me start with the thing that matters most to me: professionalism paired with genuine human warmth. When we asked about excursions in the area, **Iakovos**, the concierge, sat down with us and built an entire itinerary of suggestions — places we'd never have found on our own. That kind of care can't be bought; it comes from real passion for the work. Our room was our sanctuary. Clean down to the last corner, always tidy, with that fresh scent that greets you every time you open the door. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention — the rooms were kept to a standard that genuinely made us appreciate the effort behind every detail. The dining was dazzling. At the main restaurant, **Berlinda**, the captain, remembered even our small preferences from the day before — how I take my coffee, what one of my friends doesn't eat. That kind of personal attention is rare. The kitchen sent out plates that left us silent with pleasure. What moved me most was that the same language was spoken everywhere — from reception to the kitchen — true hospitality. Everyone worked toward the same thing: making us feel special. And they more than succeeded. We've already promised ourselves we'll return."

Il panorama dell'hotel è fantastico. Ci spiegiamo il sole quasi ogni mattina nella piscina dell'hotel.La piscina dell'hotel utilizza acqua di mare, che può gustare implicitamente l'acqua di mare. L'esperienza di nuotare è anche molto speciale. È come nuotare in mare, e il corpo è leggermente legato all'acqua. La colazione è molto deliziosa!Mangiamo molto bene ogni mattina. "We recently had the pleasure of staying in a two-bedroom suite at Ovea Paros, complete with a private pool and breathtaking sea views — and it exceeded every expectation. From the very first moment of check-in to our final farewell at check-out, the entire team made us feel like valued guests. The hotel manager and every single staff member we encountered were remarkably warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Hospitality here isn’t just a concept — it’s a way of life, and it shows in every interaction. The property itself is beautifully designed: wonderfully spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and offering an exceptional sense of privacy without ever feeling isolated. The balance between secluded personal spaces and inviting communal areas is simply perfect. The shared pool area is stunning, and the fitness center is among the best we’ve seen at any hotel — fully equipped, including a Reformer Pilates machine, which was a delightful surprise. Cleanliness was truly impeccable throughout our entire stay — both in our suite and across all common areas of the hotel. Everything was spotless, every single day. The dining experience was another highlight. Breakfast and dinner were both outstanding — fresh, flavourful, and offering a wonderfully generous selection. "Se cercate un soggiorno che unisca comfort, posizione strategica e un’accoglienza calorosa, l’Hotel Kontes è la scelta perfetta. Situato di fronte al porto di Parikia, è l’ideale per chi arriva in traghetto e vuole immergersi subito nell’atmosfera dell’isola senza stress. L’hotel si trova nel pieno centro della movida di Paros, circondato da una miriade di bar, ristoranti e locali tipici/ taverne greche. Di giorno è perfetto per esplorare le bellezze dell’isola o per andare alle spiaggia vicine, di sera diventa il punto di partenza ideale per vivere la vivace vita notturna (il lungomare è quasi di fronte) o per spostarsi nella vicina Naussa. Nonostante la centralità, le camere sono ben isolate e garantiscono un sonno tranquillo. Le stanze sono pulite, e comunque è sempre possibile farle pulire di mattina magari mentre si fa colazione, arredate e dotate di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Letti comodi, aria condizionata, Wi-Fi stabile e una cura nei dettagli che fa la differenza. Ottimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo: difficile trovare di meglio in questa zona! Un plauso speciale va alle eccezionali operatrici della reception: Marcella, Eri e Stella. Sempre sorridenti, disponibili e pronte ad aiutarci con qualsiasi richiesta. Che si trattasse di consigli su spiagge, ristoranti o noleggi, ci hanno seguiti con una gentilezza rara e una professionalità impeccabile. Il loro contributo ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. DAVVERO COMPLIMENTI E GRAZIE ! L’Hotel Kontes è davvero un buon punto di riferimento/ partenza per chi vuole vivere Paros al meglio. Ottima posizione, camere accoglienti e uno staff magnifico che ti segue, ti indica dove andare in spiaggia, cosa vedere o andare a magiare. Located right across from the port of Parikia, it's ideal for travelers arriving by ferry who want to dive straight into the island's atmosphere without any hassle. The hotel sits in the center of Paros’ vibrant nightlife, surrounded by countless bars, restaurants, and traditional Greek tavernas. During the day, it's a great base for exploring the island’s beauty or heading to nearby beaches. At night, it becomes the perfect starting point to enjoy the lively waterfront (just steps away) or to head out to nearby Naoussa. Mythic Paros , Adults Only
"I have never given such a bad rating to a hotel before but I feel like I’ve had such a bad experience and I need to share in order for others to not fall prey to this hotel. The property itself is a nice property with an amazing infinity pool view. Service at the pool was average but we let it slide. The room itself was ok (not too big) but the real issue came at night in the room (junior master suite) - the master switch to turn off all the room lights was faulty and every time we switched it off, the lights turned back on shortly after. We escalated to the night manager as we were unable to fall asleep at 12.40am and was told very candidly that they knew this room had this issue all along. We asked why they even sold this room if it caused issues and they said sometimes it was ok and we were unlucky that it was not ok this time around. Mind blown?! At this point of time it was 1am and we were given two choices - shut down the entire room’s electricity (which meant no air con for the night) or change to room. We had a early flight to catch at 5 am so we chose to change our rooms - we were given a small room next to reception which was clearly already used (blankets were on the floor, used towels in the sink along with used glasses). It was spooky but we were tired and had to wake up in 3 hours for a flight so we did not argue. There was a really spooky energy in both rooms (103 and 313) We left the next morning and are trying to seek compensation from the hotel for this. Will update. But please avoid this hotel if you can - or if not, at least these two rooms. I’m not sure if it’s a real “electrical issue” or other spiritual issues. AVOID."

"If you want a 2 star that’s ok but avoid if you expect 4 star!. Place looks “tired “ run down , no coffee facilities in room or anywhere after 9 pm . Room is basic and not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel . No music , no atmosphere . Breakfast ok . No dim light in your room at night , had to sit with bright light on in evening . 20 euros for a taxi to hotel from port ! , on leaving I walked down which took only 10 mins . Overall disappointed in this hotel ."

"Avevamo prenotato 4 notti all'Yria e, nel complesso, un'esperienza meravigliosa e memorabile. Il resort in sé è delizioso, silenzioso e molto rilassante (pochissimo rumore da chiunque o da qualsiasi parte). La camera era fantastica, molto spaziosa e pulita con un letto comodo. Abbiamo adorato la spiaggia (e le onde) e ci siamo goduti qualche cocktail al bar guardando il tramonto. Il personale dell'hotel è stato sempre molto disponibile e nessuna richiesta è stata un problema. La colazione era buona e il pasto serale andava bene. Una sera abbiamo mangiato fuori in città (Mario By The Sea) che è stato molto piacevole (e più vivace) e abbiamo mangiato al ristorante sulla spiaggia che era più semplice. Sfortunatamente a causa delle cancellazioni dei traghetti in sospeso, abbiamo dovuto accorciare il nostro viaggio di un giorno, il che è stata l'unica delusione del soggiorno. "

La zona spiaggia inizia proprio accanto all'hotel, e il porto e centro città sono a 5-minute camminare! Tutto è perfetto, lo consiglio!"

"Pessimo . Hotel da incubo. Camere da due stelle . Con le blatte all'interno. Abbiamo avuto il bagno con il tubo del lavabo rotto e siamo stati costretti a cambiare stanza perché impossibilitati a sistemarlo . Colazione terrificante . Non avevano neanche alternative al latte di vacca per gli intolleranti. La cosa più grave è che abbiamo fatto richiesta alla reception di avere il latte di soya. Il giorno successivo il responsabile del ristorante diceva che non avevano avuto mai questa segnalazione. La reception rimangiando quello che aveva detto il giorno prima ha risposto dicendo che il fornitore sarebbe passato tra una settimana. Menu e cucina del pool bar pessimo. Non ti caricano neanche i bagagli in macchina i ragazzi maleducati e bugiardi della reception. La colazione è al limite della legalità. Prodotti tutti di pessima qualità. Insaccati e formaggi dal pessimo sapore . Dolci inesistenti Insomma meglio andare in campeggio. "

Non un 3 stelle forse lo era negli anni 60 quando è’ stato costruito .Struttura vecchissima da ristrutturare completamente! Stanza ampia con mini balcone su un vicolo . Telefonando non si sono voluti disturbare a prenotarci una notte sola! Hanno aumentato i prezzi al punto che non si vogliono disturbare per una sola notte. Abbiamo prenotato la stanza sul web dove si verificava ampia disponibilità! Considendo i prezzi spropositati non più Grecia.. puntano ad un turismo di alto livello ma devono fornire strutture adeguate!!!!"

I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here."
