This place is absolutely magical! We were traveling in several cities in Bhutan and we ended up staying for our last two nights in Paro. This hotel is about 15/20 minutes away from the international airport and is the perfect way to end your trip to Bhutan. It is all inclusive, amazing food, great local wines, and incredible wellness treatments. The views are breathtaking and the indoor pool is a very relaxing spot. On top of all that, the service is phenomenal— my highest compliments to the entire staff. Thank you Ps. Don’t get worried by the bumpy road up to the hotel’s location. As my tour guide said, “It’s like a free massage!”

We are waiting for our flight at the Paro airport, after a wonderful 8-night stay at the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary. This was our first visit to Bhutan. We're glad we chose the Sanctuary for our entire stay, because we took breaks from touring and enjoyed everything the Sanctuary had to offer. With the beautiful setting and traditional Bhutanese details throughout the resort, we were able to enjoy an authentic experience without having to go out to town. The entire team, from dining to spa, to guest experiences, to housekeeping, took great care of us. Chef Warren, and his culinary team took our particular vegetarian dietary requirements very seriously, and made beautiful, delicious, and nutritious meals, in and outside the Sanctuary. We didn't have to remind anyone of our special dietary restrictions. The attention to detail was amazing, and greatly appreciated. This is the ideal place, if you have done tours in Bhutan before, and just want to relax and allow the team to recalibrate your mind, body, and spirit. Special thanks go to the wellness team, who designed and delivered an extensive menu of traditional Bhutanese treatments. We highly recommend you try everything. We usually would list many of the employee names here, but this resort simply has too many kind team members for us to list individually. They all had big genuine smiles on their faces, and treated us with the best Bhutanese hospitality. The all-inclusive feature of the Sanctuary is also something we loved. The gourmet meals, the packed meals/snacks during our tour days, the daily wellness treatment, the laundry, and other Bhutanese cultural activities. The new GM, Juliane, is very hands-on. She checks in on guests multiple times a day, and personally made sure that we were getting a great experience. We also appreciated the fact the hotel tried its best accommodating our early check-in and late checkout without us having to ask. We highly recommend the Sanctuary for first-time and repeat Bhutan visitors. Our 8 nights flew by, and our advice for you is to plan a stay here for as long as possible.

Exceptional service! Entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay was one that we will never forget! The food was gourmet and delicious and the spa was top notch. Great location with east access to downtown Paro. Already trying to figure out when we can go back!

We went on a yoga retreat and stayed three nights at the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary - it was absolutely phenomenal! The rooms, the dining spces, the food, the staff - 10 stars out of 5. I really cannot say enough about how welcoming, accommodating, friendly; they treated us like respected and adored family. This location was (other than climbing to Tiger's nest) the absolute highlight of our long journey. The heated bathroom floors, the shower, our own outdoor space, the spa services... seriously - amazing. Thank you all for making our trip so perfect.

Excellent service, food and comfort. The view from my room was fabulous. I enjoyed speedy coffee delivery to my room and relaxing Kunye massages.The yoga room was perfect for our large group.The meals were delicious and beautifully presented in many courses.
