Ma parlerò più nel dettaglio della posizione. Innanzitutto, è a 30 minuti di auto dal molo di El Nido (una posizione strategica, dato che abbiamo intenzione di esplorare l'intero parco nazionale in barca). E sarebbe fantastico, ma la strada finisce semplicemente un chilometro prima dell'hotel. In secondo luogo, la spiaggia è bellissima e poco affollata (un vantaggio per la sua posizione isolata), ma è infestata dagli acari della sabbia. Per fortuna, siamo stati avvisati subito in hotel. Quindi, non si può andare senza repellente.
Vorrei sottolineare in particolare che le uova di tartaruga marina vengono schiuse all'interno dell'hotel e, quando arriva il momento, le piccole tartarughe vengono rilasciate in mare, ma non siamo stati abbastanza fortunati da assistere a questo evento. (Nessuno di questi piccoli dettagli ci avrebbe impedito di dargli 6 stelle!)

Our stay at Piece Lio was decent overall. The aesthetics matched the pictures online, and the studio was spacious with a lovely balcony view overlooking the rainforest. I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer in the room, which made things much easier with long hair. The staff were friendly, polite, and kind, thank you guys!
Cons:
There were some small issues in the room, such as paint patches peeling off and small holes near the window shutters, which need attention, especially for a fairly new hotel.
The biggest disappointment was discovering that there is no gym or spa, even though both are listed in the hotel’s description. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it was for us since we had planned our trip around maintaining our fitness and relaxation routine. Instead, guests are given access to facilities within the same hospitality group. The gym and spa are located offsite, about 15 minutes away in town. While the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from that location, the drive feels much longer than expected due to island roads. The gym is small with basic equipment, and the spa, called Rituals Health and Spa, felt old and in need of renovation.
Breakfast was average and not really to our liking. It was also inconvenient because most restaurants at Lio Beach do not open until around 10 a.m., leaving limited early morning options. We ended up eating at another nearby hotel restaurant, Molave, which was the only one open at that time. One of the staff members incorrectly told us there were other options available earlier, which suggests a need for better training and communication.
Another issue was with a pre-booked van ride to one of the beaches. We had confirmed it via WhatsApp, but when we went downstairs, the staff had no record of it. To their credit, they handled the situation professionally and offered us a free one-way ride to make up for the inconvenience.
Overall:
The staff were warm and helpful, but management needs to improve communication, training, and most importantly, the accuracy of the facilities listed online. It feels misleading to advertise a gym and spa that are not actually part of the hotel. The lack of an in-house restaurant was also inconvenient, especially when you want a quick meal without leaving the property.
If the hotel eventually adds its own spa and gym, it would be a much better experience. We did recommend it to friends for a short stay before their flight, but I would not suggest booking it if your priority is having fitness and spa facilities in one place. Overall, would return it they added the facilities!
P.S. there’s cats! I’m not a cats person so it was a little uncomfortable to have them downstairs in the lobby area .

I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special.
One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical.
The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched.
What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals.
We are also incredibly grateful to the team who safely took us to the sandbar—your professionalism was reassuring. Finally, a massive thank you to Agustin at the waterpark for his energy and helpfulness; he made the waterpark experience so much fun for us no.
If you are looking for a flawless stay in Palawan with incredible villas, great food, and staff who genuinely care, book Astoria Palawan. We are already planning our return

AAngelicaWe had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation.
A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal.
The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

L'hotel era così rilassante e molto tropicale, che ti faceva rilassare e staccare completamente da tutto. Abbiamo soggiornato in una villa privata che era meravigliosa, e la camera era di ottime dimensioni con tutto il necessario e un bagno fantastico che ti faceva sentire come se fossi ai tropici. Allo stesso tempo, la piscina principale era incantevole con un ottimo bar a bordo piscina e le camere dell'hotel intorno alla piscina erano anch'esse incantevoli. L'unico aspetto negativo è stata la colazione, un aspetto che merita di essere rivisto, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la salute e la sicurezza. La nostra prima mattina la presa elettrica era sovraccarica, il che ha causato un incendio piuttosto grave ai cavi. Il personale non è stato bravo a gestire la situazione e alla fine è arrivata la sicurezza, MA ha gettato un bicchiere d'acqua sul fuoco! Non sei sicuro che dovrebbe essere così? L'ospite all'altro tavolo ha detto che è successo anche il giorno prima? Penso che si debbano aggiungere più prese elettriche per non sovraccaricare? La colazione a buffet sembrava disordinata e potrebbe essere migliorata? Il cibo ordinato era ottimo e anche la cena era ottima. L'hotel è meraviglioso e ci tornerei volentieri.

The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Ci sono persino eventi sociali con deliziosi cocktail e snack. Mi sono iscritto ai tour A e C direttamente in hotel. Tutto è andato alla perfezione! Non ci pensate due volte: scegliete questo ostello. Ho soggiornato in una stanza privata. La doccia e il bagno sono in camera. Se non avete molti bagagli, tutto è perfetto. C'è un'asciugatrice all'esterno. Tutto è incredibilmente comodo! Aiutano persino a organizzare i trasferimenti per l'aeroporto e altre destinazioni. Sono sempre sorridenti e allegri! Il servizio è eccellente!

MMa’am JhenAdoro i servizi, la pulizia della camera, per non parlare del fatto che è super spaziosa per una coppia. Ogni angolo è degno di Instagram. Apprezzo anche il fatto che permettano di portare cibo e bevande dall'esterno, nonostante abbiano già un ristorante interno e servano una varietà di piatti. Anche il personale è molto disponibile. Consiglio vivamente questo posto!

MMark RaymondAbbiamo soggiornato al Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa solo per una notte, prenotando cinque camere per una breve vacanza in famiglia. All'inizio eravamo un po' scettici a causa di alcune recensioni contrastanti online, ma siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi da quanto si sia rivelata piacevole l'esperienza!
Al nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti calorosamente con collane di conchiglie e il check-in è stato semplice ed efficiente. Le camere erano spaziose e pulite, offrendoci molto spazio per rilassarci. I bambini hanno apprezzato particolarmente la piscina: sebbene non molto grande, era più che sufficiente per divertirsi.
La spiaggia è bellissima, perfetta per scattare foto e praticare attività acquatiche, anche se forse non è l'ideale per nuotare. Tuttavia, aggiunge un tocco di fascino all'atmosfera tranquilla del resort.
Alcuni aspetti potrebbero essere migliorati:
• Le TV sono un po' datate: un upgrade con smart TV migliorerebbe l'esperienza degli ospiti.
• I condizionatori da finestra, sebbene funzionali, possono essere un po' rumorosi. • Alcuni mobili e dettagli delle camere potrebbero beneficiare di leggeri ritocchi per mantenere un aspetto più fresco.
Per quanto riguarda il ristorante (gestito da un concessionario), la colazione era discreta: niente di speciale, ma sufficiente per iniziare la giornata.
Nel complesso, il Microtel Puerto Princesa ha superato le nostre aspettative. È un ottimo posto per una vacanza rilassante e conveniente e, con qualche miglioramento, potrebbe essere ancora migliore. Ci tornerei sicuramente!

SSarahBraithwaite77We stayed 1 night, for easy access to the airport. Walking distance to the bayside walk and lots of restaurants and bars. The bedroom and bathroom could do with being updated but it was cheap / value for money. Hot and cold water dispenser and nice area for eating
