There are 2x 7 feet bed (very comfy), big projector in the living room, and the in room onsen was spacious and clean!
Clean and modern rooms with a smart tv
The room was overlooking the snow and unfortunately lake view was blocked by the snow.
Both dinner and breakfast were of top notch quality (we have tried many and they're usually very average), every dish was delicious and we were very full and satisfied.
There was also a free beer to each guest every night, big selection of black teas in the lounge and free inari sushi (which was btw delicious!!!)
Definitely 100%% would recommend to anyone that is looking for a last stop before heading to the airport

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity.
Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence.
Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled.
Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze.
As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional.
The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship.
Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight.
For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

UUtente ospiteI booked this hotel as I needed to fly out early from Chitose. Overall I would stay again. I arrived at 12pm but wasn't able to check in until 3pm but my luggage could be stored. The rooms are SMALL but practical, no complaints. The TV has all the local stations - couldn't find any english stations. It is closeby the train station and shopping mall, so easy to go out and grab a bite to eat. I noticed that the airline crew were staying here as well.
As I had skis with me, I couldn't take the free shuttle provided, but the staff were kind enough to book a taxi for me.

EEpianL'hotel dispone di una posizione eccellente, a pochi passi dalle principali attrazioni. Anche se la stanza è piccola, il suo design minimalista moderno è pensato, massimizza lo spazio e rende facile il movimento. Un bel toccaggio è la fornitura di pigiama a due pezzi per gli ospiti. Il buffet per cena e colazione offre una vasta gamma di opzioni deliziose. In generale, un soggiorno confortevole e ben progettato con grandi opzioni di cena.

UUtente ospiteA bit hard to Checkin at first because we forgot to do the pre-Checkin but the staff online help us and finally we got in around 8pm. However, the room is big 4 beds with huge screen TV WITH YOUTUBE AND NETFLIX. All amenity is plenty enough for family. There are washing machine and heater which is big help and make this place stand out. We love this place and wanted to come back.

Situato sulla sponda occidentale del Lago Shikotose, prendete un autobus dall'aeroporto di New Chitose (solo quattro volte al giorno) per il Lago Shikotose. Poi, verrete prelevati dalla navetta dell'hotel (due volte al giorno). Il tragitto dal Lago Shikotose all'hotel dura circa 20 minuti, quindi assicuratevi di pianificare il vostro viaggio di conseguenza.
La camera si affaccia sul Lago Shikotose, quindi potrete ammirare l'alba dalla vostra camera al mattino. Sono disponibili bagni separati per uomini e donne. Immergersi nelle sorgenti termali è incredibilmente rilassante nelle giornate di neve. Ogni bagno ha quattro piscine: una a bassa temperatura, una ad alta temperatura e una all'aperto. L'altra area esterna si trova alla fine di un lungo corridoio. Ricordatevi di indossare un piumino dopo la doccia prima di uscire, altrimenti dovrete tornare indietro a metà strada. Non c'è la doccia in camera, ma è molto comodo utilizzare le sorgenti termali. I prodotti da bagno sono ben forniti. La camera che abbiamo prenotato includeva cena e colazione. La cena era come mostrato nelle foto, nella media ma abbondante. La colazione era a buffet con un'ampia scelta. Il ristorante al primo piano serve anche caffè self-service nel pomeriggio. L'area termale viene pulita dalle 9:10 alle 9:30. È consentito scattare fotografie. 📷 Non portare il telefono con te negli altri orari. Tutti sono nudi. Anche se il viaggio può essere un po' scomodo, il paesaggio e le sorgenti termali ne valgono la pena.

当日はちょうど雪が降っており、外はかなり冷えていましたが、ロビーはもちろん、部屋の中も暖かく、綺麗に清掃が行き届いており、快適に過ごせました。
歯ブラシやバスタオル、ドライヤーなど、アメニティ用品も充実しており、特に不自由しませんでした。
強いていうなら、ベッド上のコンセントがスマホの充電器、ドライヤー共にしっかり差し込んでも効きが悪く、やむなくテレビ横にあったコンセントを使いました。
総評として、気持ちよく泊まることができたので、また機会があれば泊まってみたいです。

SSurasak PremchitIt’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in. The reception staff is very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I will come back to stay here again when I have a chance.

UUtente ospiteAbout or less than 10 minutes walking distance from JR station. The hotel also nearby Aeon which less than 10 minutes walking distance. It's a quiet place. The hotel with onsen and shuttle bus to airport service. The shuttle bus service must be booked once you confirm the hotel booking because it is just a 8 persons van which will be running out fast. The breakfast is normal with Japanese and Western style. The toilet is a bit small but the room consider spaces for 2 guests with 2 big baggage. The hotel straightly check in time is 3pm. All guests are waiting in the lobby until 3pm to get the room key.
