**”BAD: Conservare l'aggiornamento” La nostra priorità quando prenotava è stata la dimensione della camera e il bilancio, quindi abbiamo prenotato una camera da letto di 32m2. Al check-in, il personale dell'hotel ci ha offerto un ”aggiornamento”. Ha detto che per un ulteriore €25 al giorno potremmo ”aggiornare”, quindi abbiamo concordato. Tuttavia, mentre la stanza aveva una vista sul mare, la dimensione è stata ridotta a soli 21 m2. Le ho detto che pagare 25 euro per avere una stanza più piccola è un ridotto, ma hanno insistito che la vista è stata aggiornata. Ho chiesto di essere riportato nella stanza che avevamo prenotato, ma il personale ha ignorato la mia richiesta per un giorno intero. Vorrei chiederle: se andasse a vedere un nuovo paesaggio, e la vista cambiasse, come lo descriverebbe? Non direbbe che il paesaggio stesso era ”aggiornato”, diresti che la vista era diversa o migliore. Il giorno dopo, finalmente ho ricevuto una risposta dal personale. Mi hanno detto che avrei dovuto pagare un'ulteriore €70 al giorno se volessi una camera da 32m2 di vista sul mare. Sebbene le strutture e il paesaggio dell'hotel siano eccellenti, il personale si concentra esclusivamente sulle attività e sembra mirare a spruzzare ogni euro extra dai suoi ospiti. We had an amazing experience, everyhting is perfect. the staff is very helpful and friendly. the rooms are extremely good.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle, this location might just suit you — provided you’re comfortable with being quite far from anything of note. That said, it’s not entirely cut off; there’s a bus stop directly outside with services running roughly every 15 and 30 minutes, which does make getting around manageable. The setting is quiet and relaxing, with a pleasant bar on-site and a decent selection of tapas, which added a nice touch to the evenings. However, there were a few drawbacks during our stay. The television in the room didn’t work at all — unsure if it was just the batteries in the remote or a more serious issue, but we couldn’t get any power to it, which was a shame. Breakfast was tidy and kept us going, but it did become repetitive after a couple of days. The pastries in particular were a bit disappointing — rather dry and not the freshest. Overall, it’s a good spot if you value tranquillity and can cope with a bit of isolation. With reliable transport links it offers a relaxing base, albeit with room for improvement in a few areas. There is a confidence shop and a bar that does food about 10 mins walk away and playground for children mostly in neighbourhood of homes though.

Un boutique hotel vicino alla Dona Katalina Zubia. L'hotel ha due ingressi: quello principale si affaccia sulla strada, l'altro sul fiume Urumea. Il personale è cordiale e sempre sorridente. L'hotel è piuttosto pulito e tutto è raggiungibile a piedi in 15 minuti. I servizi sono limitati, ma c'è una reception e un bar aperti 24 ore su 24 al piano terra, una bella terrazza solarium sul tetto e una palestra. Consiglio di verificare attentamente l'elenco dei servizi al momento della prenotazione, poiché non ricordo di aver visto la vasca idromassaggio, la vasca per i piedi e l'asciugatrice come pubblicizzato. Suggerirei anche di controllare le batterie dei telecomandi prima dell'arrivo degli ospiti, dato che ho dovuto richiederne la sostituzione e non era disponibile fino al giorno successivo. Mancavano anche bottiglie d'acqua e kit per l'igiene dentale (visto che eravamo in tre e c'erano solo due bottiglie e un kit). Nel complesso, comunque, ho apprezzato il soggiorno e ci tornerei.

Grande posizione in un bel quartiere tranquillo con un buon accesso a bus. Il condizionatore d'aria ha funzionato bene. L'acoustica interna potrebbe essere migliore - potevo sentire quando i miei vicini docciano e il rumore di strada. Tuttavia, era ancora abbastanza tranquillo per dormire bene la notte. La viva era fredda e l'hotel era pulito.

Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meravigliosa risalendo la collina e trovando l'Hotel Avenida. I panorami sono incredibili e la vista sulla montagna è mozzafiato. Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dal centro. Servizi eccellenti alla reception e colazione al mattino. Facile accesso alla palestra e alla piscina.

Genial. Nuevo y limpio. Habitación espaciosa y funcional. Tiene secador y jabones. Tiene café y té disponible tanto en la habitación como en el hall. Buena comunicación y fácil acceso. Al lado de la playa de Ondarreta.

L'hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla, a circa 25 minuti a piedi dalla costa e dal casco antico. La stanza non è molto grande, ma funziona. Il buon servizio è nota nei dettagli. Personale professionale e trattamento amabile.

The pension is easy to find, and staff are very helpful. Beds are comfortable; coffee and tea are available; everything is clean. The only difficulty might be is there is only one bathroom for all the guests. We were here in low season, so didn't have much difficulty, but I can imagine problems in the high season. The pension is in the old part of San Sebastian, so visiting the most picturesque parts is easy, as is visiting nearby villages. Local food is excellent. I highly recommend this pension; excellent value for your money. It's the best base for exploring this part of the Basque Country.

This hotel is adults only, which is great! There should be more like it. The location is fine, it’s in a quiet street, which feels far out the city, but it’s actually around the corner from the shops and cathedral and the beach. It’s about 20 mins walk from the old town, though. The hotel has a trendy feel and is very ************ and inclusive, which is fantastic. However the rooms are really small and there’s nowhere at all to put one’s toiletries in the bathroom: it could have been designed better. The balcony was huge and great, but without sun umbrella we couldn’t stay outside in the 30C heat. We found some maintenance issues: leaking tap, broken bathroom door, wonky TV set, but the rest was fine. Average, but cheaper than other hotels in the area.
