UUtente ospiteWe had a great stay! The staff were so friendly and polite, and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The free breakfast was tasty, and the shuttle bus made everything super convenient — especially for visiting our son at UBCO. We stayed two nights and would definitely come back.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel was extremely busy, as it was a holiday weekend. The state of the hotel definitely showed an increase in volume and turnover. Our room, the entranceway, and the bathroom floor had white marks all over it. At first, it looked like a child walked into paint and then ran in and out of the room. However, with the smallest of elbow grease, I was able to remove most of the marks from the bathroom. In doing so, it looked more like dried oatmeal, but I couldn't be sure. My point is that it was impossible not to notice this mess and that someone made a conscious decision to leave it in this manner. They did this, knowing that it was a long weekend and that guests would be paying in some cases double what they normally would pay. At these prices, with taxes,fees, etc, we were over a grand for 2 nights. At these prices, you do expect the rooms to be in pristine condition. We had spoken to a staff member delivering towels to a nèar by room. He informed us that he would speak to his supervisor and that someone would be up shortly. At this point, it was late and we were at the end of a solid week of moving. We needed sleep more than anything. To the best of our knowledge, no one tried to reach us in regard to this issue. This is a beautiful hotel. However, more needs to be done to keep it that way.

DDevopriya TirthoI stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day.
The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort.
The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus.
If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.

TTravel Around the World 88Il personale dell'hotel era sempre amichevole e utile, che ha reso l'atmosfera accogliente. Mentre il soggiorno è stato in generale soddisfacente, ci sono stati alcuni problemi che hanno colpito la mia esperienza.
Purtroppo, ho incontrato numerosi piccoli voli nella stanza, tra cui uno su una tovagliola, che mi hanno costretto a usare tessuti per rivolgermi; inoltre, l’ascensore aveva bisogno di pulire più spesso, perché sembrava molto sporco durante il mio soggiorno.
Su una nota positiva, l’hotel ha offerto buoni per la colazione per Ricky’s, convenientemente situato proprio fuori. Questi buoni erano validi fino alle 4 pm, che ha fornito un bel livello di flessibilità.

I nuovi tubi sono così slippery I'ho sorpresa che non ci siano stati diversi incidenti senza mattoni sui tubi, ma mi ha sorpreso di vedere un segno sul fronte che offre un mattone se richiesto - che è una questione di sicurezza per me

One issue stood out: we were asked to stop using the pool at around 9:30 AM because we were told it only opens at 10. We respected that, but just minutes later, another guest used the pool at 9:37 AM, followed by a family with two kids before 10 as well.
It felt inconsistent and a bit unfair. A clear and consistently enforced policy would’ve avoided the confusion and frustration. This small incident left us with mixed feelings about the stay.
