Hotel in zona Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique, Parigi

L’hotel si trova in una stradina privata, che accoglie altri hotel, con ingresso che da su una strada principale, dietro l’angolo della fermata della metro Grand Boulevard. Le camere non sono grandissime, ma abbastanza grandi da girare intorno al letto, arredamento molto semplice e moderno e ben curato; all’arrivo troviamo un piattino di frutta con fragole e grappoli d’uva e due macarons, la macchinetta Nespresso con le capsule e il bollitore con le bustine di tè, ma la cosa che ci ha fatto più piacere, è stato trovare il bigliettino di benvenuto scritto a mano. Camera e bagno molto puliti, prodotti per il bagno della Occitane, tra i quali anche una fialetta spray rilassante per la notte; altra cosa che abbiamo apprezzato, è di trovare tutti i giorni, due bottigliette d’acqua in camera. Colazione continentale con prodotti molto buoni sia dolci che salati, vari tipi di pane e vari dolci. Staff molto disponibile e attento. Per il check-in e check-out, possibilità di lasciare le valigie e poter sfruttare il giorno. Check-out alle ore 12. La zona è molto carina e tranquilla, pieni di locali e supermercati, a 10 minuti a piedi dall’ Opera e a 20 minuti a piedi dal Louvre; data la vicinanza dei mezzi pubblici, lo consigliamo vivamente.

So I booked this hotel via hotels.com which I highly recommend not doing where it clearly states that the hotel is fully refundable and you can reserve now and pay later, before confirming my booking I double checked all of this and that is what it very clearly states this booking is fully refundable up until the 20/09/22 and nowhere is there any mention of any deposit being taken from my card and that if I was to cancel after said date there would be a charge and that there would also be a charge for no show which was all fine with me so I went ahead and booked. The next morning I wake up to find out I'm in my overdraft and upon checking the hotel has taken it upon themselves to charge me near enough £150 with NO consent, NO authorisation, and NO prior warning or confirmation of doing so which is theft. I didn't cancel or change my booking so the excuse of it being a mistake is out of the question, I've been back and forward with hotels.com multiple times informing me that this may have been taken as a deposit which there is no mention of during the booking process they also called the hotel for me at 11am (hotels local time) for them to tell them they are shut for the day I was then told to contact the hotel myself to deal with it and to which I was told the money is on hold in case I do not show up or cancel late, this is mentioned nowhere on the website while booking, during this time an agent from hotel.com escalates this dispute and the next day I receive an email stating the manager of the hotel is refusing to authorise a refund as they have a strict cancelation policy and will not waive the fee! WHAT FEE? This booking is supposed to be fully refundable. After a strongly word email to hotel.com reminding them of what the booking states and of their own T&C they have agreed I am right and should not have been charged this money and will continue to dispute this for me. I really don't know who this hotel thinks they are and what gives them the right to take money from my account but I refuse to give my hard earned money to thieves and Crookes that can't abide by the rules they have set out and would highly recommend finding elsewhere to stay, they seem like the kind of nightmarish hotel to make up damage charges.

Tornavamo a Parigi per la quarta volta, dopo diversi anni. Abbiamo optato per Le Milie Rose dopo avere letto alcune recensioni positive. L'albergo è risultato superiore alle aspettative. Personale gentilissimo e attento. L'hotel è un piccolo gioiello limitrofo al quartiere di Monmartre. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e ringraziamo tutti per averci fatto sentire come a casa. Stay away!!!!! HOTEL HORROR!!!! This hotel is in the middle of renovations and to walk up and down the stairs they have plastic and it smells. The stairs are very narrow. They have to remove the ladder and tools for you to be able to walk. The paint is still fresh and while holding onto the staircase the paints goes on your hands. The lift is so small it only holds 2 people if you’re lucky. The rooms are so tiny, it’s hard to open up your suitcase. There is no cupboard space, only a small open shelving unit. There is a desk with a chair but I had to take the chair out to make more room. There is no room to put toiletries. The top sheet of the bed had a cigarette burn and there are stains on the sheets. The tv is tiny and only in French. There is no air conditioner or heater in the room. Walls are so thin we could hear conversations in the next room when they were on the phone. The reception staff are not very friendly neither are the cleaning staff. No fridge or kettle, toaster NOTHING!!!! Internet is only available in the reception area but keeps dropping out. Breakfast is very plain and when we went to try it out there were no tables to sit so we had to go out to buy breakfast. I called days earlier for an early check In and arrived at hotel at 10 after a long flight but upon arrival rooms weren’t ready. They told us to come back at 12.30. Normal check in was 2pm. We decided might as well wait till 2 instead of paying for early check in just for an hour and a half. I wouldn’t even classify this hotel 2 stars, more like .05 cause it’s better than being on the streets.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Era molto amichevole! Anche la receptionist continuava a sorridere. Mi hanno dato il 5° piano. È difficile da credere perché tutti nelle recensioni precedenti hanno affermato che era solo per i piani inferiori. Questo è un hotel di altissimo livello. Inutile dire che è pulito. La stanza è molto bella. Il divano letto è stato allungato e coperto di trapunte. La vista della Torre di Ferro dal balcone è incredibile! L'immagine 1 è alle 17, l'immagine 2 è alle 21, l'immagine 3 è alle 22 e l'immagine 4 è alle 9. Ogni momento ha la sua bellezza unica! Ho prenotato questo hotel solo per la vista sulla Torre Eiffel. Poi ho prenotato un biglietto per il beach volley olimpico e sono andato sul posto. Anche il plotone di sabbia è molto emozionante! L'unico problema di questo hotel è che la porta del balcone è aperta troppo in alto, le tende non sono completamente aperte e la porta graffia le tende. Non ho capito bene e un anello è caduto dal bastone della tenda. Quando ho fatto il check-out, l'ho detto alla reception e le ho chiesto se avrei dovuto pagare un risarcimento. Siamo tornati in camera per controllare insieme, e lei ha chiesto di nuovo al direttore e ha detto che non era necessario alcun compenso, e poi ci ha dato la colazione gratuita. La colazione è così deliziosa! Pane, snack, ecc. Sono concetti completamente diversi dal Weiduomei domestico! Il pane che usano è probabilmente burro di alta qualità! Delizioso. Mi piace davvero questo hotel!

Grande struttura. Casa perfetta. Appartamento magnifico con terrazza sul tetto che dà sul quartiere della difesa. Tutto è impeccabile. Piccolo bemol: le coperte di letto che non sono rocce e non si tengono in posizione. Si trova a dormire sul mattone al primo movimento. NB: nessun metro vicino. È necessario tenerne conto (bus a 200 metri)
