4 stelle Mercure? Molto lontano da essere un 4 stelle ma nel complesso siamo stati bene per camera familiare e colazione buona. Hall non tenuta bene ( sarà’ che siamo arrivati venerdì sera ma era lurida), vassoi con colazione in camera lasciati nei corridoi fino alla mattina successiva… Valido se si deve visitare parc della villette, museo scienze e industria perché per il resto non comodo al centro. Carrefour nelle vicinanze ma non tanta scelta di ristoranti di livello nelle vicinanze ( tanto che la domenica sera molti erano chiusi e abbiamo dovuto ripiegare su una crepe che comunque costicchia per quello che vale). Quindi valutazione complessiva discreta ma non lo consiglierei per chi deve visitare Parigi centro. Comunque prezzo nella media e non tanto inferiore considerata la distanza dal centro. Arrondissment 19 non molto raccomandabile ( ma questo lo sapevamo già ) quindi ok nella via principale dove e’ ubicato l hotel ma non e’ un posto dove tornare tardi la sera o infrattarsi nelle viuzze ecco. Parcheggio sotterraneo pagamento extra ma comunque ok per chi arriva in auto.

La posizione è a dieci minuti a piedi dalla Gare du Nore, è una zona un po' agitata quando ho camminato durante la sera. L'hotel in sé andava bene e quello che ti aspetteresti da un ibis, la colazione per me era buona con le uova strapazzate deliziose e cremose. Direi che se ottieni un'offerta economica su questo hotel e vuoi essere vicino alla Gare Du Nore, allora è un vincitore, fai solo attenzione come viaggiatore singolo se non sei abituato a zone rischiose.

We booked an overnight stay here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, before traveling to EuroDisney in the morning. We have stayed at Mercure hotels many times and they would always be my first thought. As a treat we booked a superior room with balcony and anticipated champagne on the balcony to celebrate. On arriving at the hotel after midday, we were told that our room, which should have been ready at midday was not ready. We received no explanation or apology and were rudely dismissed when the member of staff just started serving the customers behind us. Luckily we had friends staying in the hotel who were able to look after our luggage while we enjoyed the sites of Paris. When we returned to the hotel a different staff member checked us in and we went to our room. The room was nice and clean and there was a separate room with a sofa bed and TV which was nice and relaxing. To our surprise the balcony was boarded off with Perspex so we could not get onto it to experience the promised balcony. A little surprising is the bathroom situation - it’s right next to the bed separated only by a glass etched door - so be sure you’re completely comfortable with your traveling companion. In all honesty the attitude and lack of any apology from the staff member on our initial attempt to check in ruined the whole stay for me. I understand that sometimes rooms are not ready and things go wrong but there was no attempt to take ownership of the issue, apologise or even offer to hold our luggage so we could get on with our day. Not having the promised balcony was the cherry on the cake of disappointment. During our stay, a couple who were confused about their room number and reported to reception that their key was not working. They were then given a duplicate key to someone else’s room. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I will not be recommending it to anyone and I will be sending in an official complaint.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this 3-star budget hotel in the 10th Arrondisement of Paris. Our party of two had booked a twin room for three nights, with one guest only staying for one night due to travel circumstances. Here’s what we liked about the hotel: 1. The room was extremely spacious, with two double beds which were very comfortable. 2. The interior presentation of the room was fairly contemporary, decorated in a shade of pale grey with accents of maroon. A large window bathed the room in light; there were appropriate black-out curtains for a comfortable sleep. 3. The room was street-facing, but the street is not a main road and the noise level was negligible. 4. The room was spotlessly clean, and smelt fresh. 5. The bathroom was very spacious. Towels were changed daily. Some basic toiletries were provided though we always travel with our own. The shower area needed a shower curtain to contain the spray, as the water tended to go everywhere. 6. A kettle, and sachets of tea and coffee were provided in the room. 7. Breakfast is provided at an additional charge in a small dining room beside the Reception area; we did not have breakfast at the hotel. 8, The hotel offered good wifi with easy connectivity and reasonable download speed. There were ample power sockets for charging devices. 9. Reception staff were courteous and welcoming; the Reception area appeared to be staffed all the time. 10. The hotel is budget friendly, the daily room rate is good value for the standard of accommodation provided. 11. The hotel is in a good location. It’s equidistant between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est; both mainline stations and their Metro stations are no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The heart of Montmartre is a 30 minute walk away. The only thing we didn’t particularly like about the location of the hotel was the the plethora of young males gathering around in the streets in the afternoon and evening, trying to discreetly sell you cigarettes and other goods. Hotel guests just need their wits about them when walking to the stations, and to make sure belongings and wallets and purses are safe. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

My room overlooking the park, was extremely noisy. There is a building site next door and building starts at 7am. And there’s jackhammers during the day. Also, on the road below, was a metal plate, which banged every time a car drove over it (24/7). They should not be charging full price for the rooms affected by this noise. I took it up with the female receptionist who told me there’s construction all around Paris. Her attempt to deflect missed me. When I insisted, she said she would email her manager and send me a reply. 2 weeks later, no response. Clearly no action was taken. They should not be charging full price for these rooms. Very poor customer concern/service by this hotel.

The hotel common areas are relatively modern, nicely and youngish appointed . Breakfast is nice , staff at reception - friendly and welcoming. Rooms are on the smaller side and old, and could be differently arranged thus be more spacious. A tiny uncomfortable shower and no hand soap at the sink.(upon asking - the young friendly guy at the reception gave me a used liquid soap container, apologizing ) . Our room at the second floor(building B) had a nice terrace, but no light so we could not use it at night. The corridor at building B was dark (even at day time) and in order to turn on the light you have to find the switch on the wall (no auto-sensory lights). Check-out is at 11:00 but they will gladly hold your belongings for a few more hours. Location can be OK : Metro - only a few steps away. The very near neighborhood looks grim at night, but there are a lot of restaurants and small supermarkets in the area . La Villette park , the calm canal , and the amazing Paris Symphony House are only a couple of hundreds meters away. We managed to stay here for four nights. And I know there were guests staying for a longer period.

Situato in una zona molto mal frequentata, con gruppi di gente dall'aria poco raccomandabile sia nelle vie intorno che proprio di fronte all'hotel. Comodo alla metro, ma non mi avventurerei di sera tardi da sola. Arredamento moderno, luminoso e colorato, accoglienza alla reception cortese. Camere e bagni minuscoli. Armadio con solo spazio per appendere gli abiti; mancano totalmente dei ripiani e dei cassetti. Aria condizionata fortissima in alcune camere, quasi assente in altre, ma alla richiesta di spiegazioni, la reception risponde che è generalizzata e non si può regolare individualmente. Asciugacapelli indecente, ormai non più presente neanche nelle peggiori piscine di provincia. Unica nota positiva, in camera, il letto ed i cuscini comodissimi. Colazione corretta per un 3 stelle, con dell'ottimo te sfuso invece che in bustine. Ristorante per la cena da dimenticare; porzioni piuttosto sc****, cibo mediocre, servizio lentissimo e poco cortese, tranne un paio di eccezioni, sospetto di ingredienti non freschi che hanno creato problemi di salute, per fortuna non gravi. Insomma... a Parigi si può trovare sicuramente di meglio!

Its also a resturant with a nice place to sit outside nearby the river. It seems like a social, relaxed place, but also a place where you perfektly can sit alone. Really liked this place! Recomenned! The staff is also very helpful, and gives good service. And ofc: Its Paris! I love Paris.

L'hotel si trova in una zona periferica di Parigi ma comunque ben servita dalla linea 7 della metropolitana che porta senza cambi ad esempio al Louvre o in altre zone turistiche centrali. Abbiamo soggiornato in una tripla che oggettivamente era troppo piccola per ospitare 3 letti. La stanza è priva di armadio (solo degli appendiabiti scomodi da usare) e non ha un frigo bar. Il bagno è nello standard di un 3 stelle. La reception è pronta a risolvere qualche piccolo problema ed è stato possibile lasciare le valige in deposito prima della partenza. La colazione è varia ma ripetitiva, non di alta qualità. Avrei preferito una maggiore attenzione, dato il periodo covid, all'uso della mascherina mentre ci si serve self service durante la colazione. Praticamente eravamo gli unici a indossarla compreso il personale di sala che la portava abbassata.
