Hotel in zona Chocolatier de Paris, Parigi

Il ricevimento è molto interessante, ma non professionale, chiama sempre il tuo cellulare e fa un buon punto di servizio.Il piccolo fratello del lavoro notturno è particolarmente eloquente e mi ha aiutato a ottenere un impegno di vendita di Uber.

L'hotel si trova in una zona ottima. Vicinissimo alla metro e con tanti ristoranti, panetterie, supermercati e anche un centro commerciale nei dintorni. La zona è sicura anche la sera perche molto frequentata. C'è anche una utilissima lavanderia a gettoni molto vicina. La stanza era piccolina ma lo spazio per aprire una valigia c'era (solo una pero). Il personale della reception è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Se le dimensioni della stanza erano accettabili lo stesso non si può dire delle dimensioni del bagno che era microscopico. Non esagero nel dire le le dimensioni erano circa due metri per uno. Una persona un pò grassa avrebbe grossi problemi a muoversi li dentro. Comunque il problema maggiore a parte il bagno era l'insonorizzazione delle stanza completamente inesistente. Si potevano sentire parlare le persone della stanza a fianco e se, come me, non riuscite a dormire in presenza di rumori in pratica non dormire fino a che le suddette persone non decidono di dormire a loro volta. Molto fastidioso.

Très bonne surprise. Un bon rapport qualité prix à deux pas des transports. Un Monoprix et quelques restaus à proximité. Même en étant en centre, pas franchement de bruits à l'extérieur. Le personnel est accueillant et professionnel. Quand j'ai demandé un renseignement sur mon trajet, la jeune femme à l'accueil m'a immédiatement renseigné. Et lorsque j'ai eu des petits problèmes (pas de code wifi dans la chambre, une télécommande pleine de coca par le précédent client, démagnétisation de ma carte), ils ont tout de suite réglé le souci. La chambre était propre, le lit bien fait et la literie agréable. Une TV, un petit bureau et une armoire pour ranger ses affaires, pas besoin de beaucoup plus. Alors bien sûr, on pourrait pinailler en disant que certains joints de douche mériteraient d'être changé ou de mettre une tablette pour poser ses produits dans la douche. Mais franchement, j'ai connu des hôtels bien pires que celui-là. Je pense que je reviendrais à l'hôtel Jenner sans soucis pour mes prochaines venues sur la capitale. Les petits plus : - savon et gel douche fournis - climatisation (indispensable avec ces fortes chaleurs)

I wish I'd listened to the few recent bad reviews that had been written about this property and kept my reservation at our original small boutique, well-rated BW affiliated hotel. However, given we were only staying a night and that it was offered for a reasonable number of points for as a Bonvoy reward, I took the jump. Elite members used to decent Marriott-branded hotels, spend the extra points and choose one of the other Paris hotels (the Westin, the other Marriott or the Renaissance). I can confirm that: -AC or the hotel's ventilation system currently doesn't work. Windows don't open. We had the vent blowing on ”high” and it was just recirculating air. I have a travel clock that's also a thermometer. We never managed to cool the room below 24C. It was around 13 or 14C outside that night. Shouldn't have been that hard to cool down the room by 2-3 degrees to sleep well. I love the thick feather duvets Marriott uses, but not when the room can't be cooled down to 20-21C. When I called the service hotline, I was told they were having issues with the system and it was what it was. No offer to even bring up a fan. Nothing. It was a ”oh well, too bad” attitude. -We also had toilet issues. Our toilet flushed poorly. You had to hold the flush button for at least 30 seconds to properly flush anything. -Platinum/Titanium elite members, forget about receiving any value or being recognized here. I don't expect an upgrade to a suite or the top corner room every time I stay. I understand hotels do what they can with what they have available. Their inventory shows ”executive” rooms and diffetent types of suites available. We booked a standard ”Paris view” king room and received a ”Paris view, high floor” king room. The way the floors are built, the elevators are in the middle. There's around 15, maybe 18 rooms to the left or right of the elevator lobby on each floor. Our door was 4 doors away. Couldn't even be bothered to place us further away. That was my minimal expectation. No slippers or bathrobes in rooms here. Poor shower pressure. Good luck washing your hair if you have long ones. -Front desk: The coldest reception welcome I've received at a Marriott in a long time. I swear if Bill Marriott was still CEO, properties like this would get a call from HQ to review their staff training. We are French Canadians. The agent was struggling in French and answered us in English a few times even though we were clearly not English speakers. That was extremely odd in Paris. No mention of Bonvoy status, only that, and I quote ”breakfast is not included. Because of your membership, you can take the continental buffet tomorrow morning at the restaurant. Normally, it's not included, but we don't have a lounge at the moment”. Jeez louise, I felt like I was being handed a favour... -There's a ”Bonvoy Elite” line for the front desk, but it was neither manned or enforced in the evening when we arrrived, or the following day at check out, where the line was all t

Ho soggiornato in coppia in questo aparthotel nel periodo di capodanno. L'hotel è situato nella zona di Port de Choisy, a circa 40 minuti dalla zona ”centrale” dove sono situate le maggiori attrazioni turistiche. Il collegamento è ottimo, tram di fronte all'hotel e metro a 5 minuti a piedi. La zona è tranquilla. Da tenere presente la distanza in quanto è notevole, noi siamo usciti la mattina e tornati la sera direttamente. Abbiamo soggiornato in una piccola camera con letto matrimoniale, dotata di angolo cottura con un frigo grande, bagno con doccia spaziosa, non dotato di phon per capelli. Camera silenziosa. Le pulizie vengono effettuate solo alla fine del soggiorno quindi da tenere presente per chi è abituato a soggiornare nei classici hotel. Purtroppo al nostro arrivo non abbiamo trovato la camera pulita in quanto vi erano peli e capelli sia in bagno che nel letto. Staff cordiale e disponibile. Il costo per notte buono. Non abbiamo fatto colazione, volendo nella hall ci sono due macchinette per caffè e snack.

Yes, rooms are very small by US standards, smaller than the smallest room I saw at the College Park (Atlanta Airport) Econo Lodge. However, they are twice as big as what they call “single rooms” in London’s budget hotels, which are half way between the traditional English phone booth and a small US closet, where you sleep in a tiny 90 centimeters army cot WITHOUT AC for the price you pay at the Los Angeles LAX Sheraton! At this CHOICE COMFORT HOTEL PORTE D’IVRY at least, you will sleep in a double bed in a small but clean room WITH AC, tiny desk and phone, and a full bath with the biggest shower (3 times bigger) that I’ve ever seen in Europe, together with the one of room 823 at the Orly Best Western Plus, which is the same size. It also has a sink with a hair dryer and a private “wishing well”, the greatest invention of mankind… Those amenities such as a big refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board that I always see in all CHOICE HOTELS (whether Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, etc.) in the US for around $100 with buffet breakfast included, are just a dream in Europe, so forget about it! I’ll say the same about the ice machine, which we find even in cheapest motels, and sometimes on every floor in high-end hotels like the Clarion. Forget it! The only place where I have seen an ice machine outside of the US was at the Gran Hotel Argentino in Buenos Aires, after I harassed the manager during more than seven years asking for it during every trip in the 1990s! THE MAIN ASSET of this Comfort Hotel Porte d’Ivry is its LOCATION. A short 4 blocks walk will put you at “Porte d’Ivry”, where you will see the terminal of bus 27 to go to “Quartier Latin”, “Notre-Dame”, “Opéra” and “Gare Saint-Lazare”, and also the terminal of bus 83, which will take you to “Port Royal” and “Sèvres-Babylone”. At the same “Porte d’Ivry”, you will also see the “Métro” (subway) line 7 going from “La Courneuve” in the north of Paris to “Mairie d’Ivry” in the south. If you enjoy traveling underground, this line will take you straight to “Chatelet” and “Opéra”. But I prefer to do that journey with bus 27. Last but not least, at that “Porte d’Ivry”, you will be able to take TRAM 3a, which circles Paris on the south and will take you from “Pont du Garigliano” on the west, to “Porte de Vincennes” on the east, where you will be able to take TRAM 3b, which circles Paris on the north side, and will take you to “Porte de la Chapelle”, where you will be able to take bus 350 to Roissy CDG. And if you fly to Orly, as I do with Iberia via Madrid, now that American Airlines have discontinued their nonstop flights 62 and 63 between Miami and Paris, then you can take the ORLYBUS and get off at the first stop in Paris, by my beloved Cité Universitaire, where I lived the best five years of my long life in the 1960s, then walk a block to “Montsouris” and take TRAM 3a to “Porte d’Ivy”, only six stations away. La catena Ibis budget è una garanzia di sistemazioni senza fronzoli ma di pulizia e prezzi imbattibili. L'hotel si trova a 5 fermate di autobus (24) dalla Gare de Lyon, ottimo per chi resta poco in albergo e non cerca i quartieri glamour di Parigi. In 10/15 minuti siete in stazione e da qui con la metro ovunque, la fermata del bus è a 50 metri dall'hotel, se poi volete fare 2 passi in più potete prendere la linea 7 della metro a 1 km circa. Le camere basiche ma con tutto il necessario, cambio asciugamano su richiesta, letto comodo. Personale molto molto accogliente e disponibile dal ricevimento al personale delle pulizie. Non abbiamo usuffruito della colazione, adiacente si trova un piccolo centro commerciale il Bercy 2. Consigliato a chi resta poco in camera e carca pulizia e convenienza.

Hotel ubicato in un tranquillo quartiere, ben servito dalla metro Pernety; caratterizzato dalla presenza di scuole, supermercati, bistrot, boulangerie, ecc. risulta abbastanza sicuro e ben collegato alla stazione Montparnasse, ricca di attività commerciali e ristoranti, tra cui il famoso Boullion Chartier. Camera piccola, ma completa. Colazione accettabile, prodotti dolci come croissant, marmellate, frutta secca ecc.

Super ostello, va tutto bene 👌 di nuovo volentieri in qualsiasi momento. La metropolitana, il supermercato e tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno è a portata di mano. La vista sulla terrazza sul tetto è fantastica.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 3 notti in famiglia con 2 bambini. È stata la nostra “base” per il nostro viaggio a Parigi & disneyland. Si trova in una zona tranquilla e vicina alla stazione metro. Alla reception Giulia e Roberto molto disponibili e gentili (anche Nicola come servizio notturno). Camera pulita e ben insonorizzata con vista su un bel parco cittadino, letto molto comodo. Bottiglie di acqua sempre disponibili in stanza ogni giorno. Bagno spazioso dotato di asciugamani e kit cortesia. Colazione semplice ma con tutto il necessario. Il giorno della partenza abbiamo potuto tenere tutto il giorno le valigie in deposito. Consigliato!
