Hotel a 3 stelle a Parati

Stayed here with my family for a week and the place was incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paraty. It's a bit far from the historic center so you'll need a car to move around and explore. ROOM We stayed at Suíte Master, the room was very big and clean. The bathroom was very spacious, with good toiletries included and a shower with nice water pressure and temperature. It had a large TV with many channels available, a good aircon system, and a mini fridge. I liked that the minibar was empty so we could buy our own drinks and keep them cold. Even though the room was in front of a pool and the car parking, it wasn't noisy at all. It was nice to chill and have a drink on the veranda after a day out. The bed was comfortable with a nice mattress and pillows. STAFF All the staff was very friendly and helpful in any area of the hotel, but especially the restaurant staff. RESTAURANT The food at the restaurant was really good, we ate there almost every day because of it, and everything we tried from the menu was great. The drinks were also very good, especially Jorge Amado. The buffet breakfast was excellent with so many options to choose from. The only negative was the burger place, I actually didn't try the burger myself, but I went with the family one night for dinner and they all complained that the meat was overcooked. I liked that I could sit at the burger place with them, but order meals from the restaurant menu. POOLS The 3 pools are very nice, but only one is heated, and it was always very crowded, especially in the evening. The other 2 pools were very nice during the day but a bit cold in the evening, but also I didn't visit during summer. I didn't appreciate that people are allowed to drink in the pool, so people had their beer bottles with them inside the pool, or bottles sitting at the edge of the pool, which can be quite dangerous if a bottle breaks and glass falls inside the pool. Not sure it's even allowed, but there was no one stopping people from doing it. FACILITIES The gym seemed quite large and nice, but I didn't use it. The sauna was good. The kid's area was nice and a great addition to keep the niece entertained, but it was good fun for the adults as well. I enjoyed the massage chairs as well. WIFI The wifi worked well throughout all the areas of the hotel

A pousada é linda e tranquila, com um espaço externo muito agradável. O quarto é excelente, equipado com sacada, rede, cama e colchão de alta qualidade. O café da manhã oferece uma grande variedade de pães, bolos, frios, frutas e bebidas. À noite, há também a opção de caldo e lanche para quem prefere ficar na pousada. Muito bem localizada, está a 8 minutos do centro histórico, 10 minutos do cais para os passeios de barco, e de fácil acesso às praias, sendo apenas 10 minutos até a Prainha da Praia Grande, por exemplo.

We booked a few days at the Selina in Paraty, having stayed at the São Paulo Selina just before. We had an amazing stay in Paraty and ended up extending a few more days - we actually still weren’t ready to leave at that point! Staff are very welcoming and Leo went over and above to make us feel welcome and answer any/all questions we had! Communal areas are great for meeting people in a relaxed setting and there’s loads of space to work, with good WiFi. We stayed in the loft and couldn’t have asked for anything more, perhaps less rain but even with less than ideal weather we still had a great time! Would recommend for those looking for a chilled out break in a beautiful setting.

We were warmly welcomed by Yvan, whose friendliness, kindness and interest in getting to know us made us feel write at home. The pousada was a well-groomed colorful tropical garden, complete with Caio the parrot and monkeys. Denise created delicious homemade breakfasts of fruits, juice, coffee, eggs, crepes and cakes. She, also, was kind and hospitable. The pool is spotlessly clean and beautiful. Our rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and inviting, Yvan gave us great recommendations for restaurants with beautiful views, as well as activities that were enjoyable. Speaking in many languages, he made all his guests feel like family. What a wonderful place to stay! There are good restaurants within a couple of blocks and a beach right across the street. I highly recommend staying here while you’re in Paraty. It was beyond my expectations.

Hotel molto buono ! Receptionist molto educato, attento e simpatico! Caffè della mattina con varietà e delizioso. Camere legali e confortevoli . I passi quando si chiude insieme con l'alloggio sono anche legali. Jacuzzi riscaldato e piscina ben grande. Un punto che tra i 4 jacuzzi è riscaldato solo uno e può solo 30 minuti per camera. Potrebbero riscaldare gli altri una volta che il tempo che passavamo tutte le altre erano vuote.
