Ramada Princess Hotel is a nice hotel to stay. The rooms a spacious and it has a big balcony. The rooms are not the most modern ones, a little bit outdated but clean. There is a rooftop with a pool and restaurants and places to hang out. Breakfast is okay, but not very special, it has limited choices. For some things you have to pay extra, like capuccino. On the mainfloor there is a big ****** to go to. Overall it's a nice hotel, not the most modern one but it's a nice place to stay.

Decided to spend a weekend with my wife and son here before a month long trip. Keeping in mind that it cost over US$ 300 per night which is more than an average HILTON, MARRIOTT, or HYATTT; there was quite a lot to be expected. Unfortunately, the issues began at check-in. It was not a smooth experience, and both check-in assistants seemed not to be adequately proficient in the English language. They did not explain some of the amenities the hotel offers, and more importantly the operational procedures of the hotel. (I later had to learn that the hotel does not accept deposit by credit card). We settled into our room which was clean, spacious, and well furnished. What they could improve were the pillows. Either the quality of the pillows was inferior, or they had already been used for quite a while. We then descended to the pool area for a swim. The pool itself is the highlight of this resort. The pool is designed as a watering hole in the amazon; so it is surrounded by rock and bush formations. It even has a multi-cascade waterfall which covers a grotto. Last but not least is the full service swim-up bar. As nice as it was, the area was over crowded and seating around the pool seemed to be taken-up by walk-in guests. The main issue though was that there seemed to be a clear lack of coordination and understanding between the waiters, bar-men, kitchen, and administration staff. The waiters were heavily understaffed which led to confusion, long waiting times, and small ques. For dinner, we decided on ordering room service as we were already tired and phased out from the day. They offered room service from both the café at the swimming pool, or from the main grill restaurant. The menu was varied, allowing it to cater to your specific taste, and the food quality and presentation was impressive. Overall, its not a bad property. It is just that the quality of the staff and coordination really need improvement.....if not, then it is not worth the prices the hotel asks.

A wonderful super friendly place that I’d highly recommend. The staff and owners were amazing and couldn’t be more welcoming. It was like having family! The hotel garden is a little oasis of calm and green with a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was very clean and serviced to a high standard. I loved the pool and also enjoyed the tasty breakfasts. Will definitely be back!

Ho avuto un soggiorno perfettamente piacevole in questo giardino. Bella, semplice e moderna. In generale meglio di una media giardino negli Stati Uniti. Tuttavia, la posizione non funziona per tutti - l'hotel è un po' fuori città. Abbiamo avuto una macchina da noleggio (da Hertz), quindi la posizione non era una questione. C'è anche noleggio auto Avis vicino all'hotel, ma non potevo prezzi attraverso il sito Avis, quindi non sono sicuro se è aperto (se è, prenderò un taxi all'aeroporto e noleggio un'auto da lì). Più in generale, ci piaceva davvero il Surinam - persone super amiche, ci sentiamo solitamente al sicuro, il cibo era delizioso, i prezzi non erano pazzi. Tutto questo in forte contrasto con la Guyana. Sembra che la maggior parte dei paesi non abbia bisogno di un visto per entrare, ma è ancora necessario pagare il canone di ingresso online. Ho letto molti rapporti che dicevano che non potete più farlo all'arrivo all'aeroporto PBM o ORG - non è vero, poiché alcuni passeggeri del mio volo pagavano la tassa di arrivo all'ORG (settembre 2023). È necessario anche una certificazione per la vasca della febbre gialla - questo è stato verificato dalla compagnia aerea al check-in. Un altro consiglio auspicabile - Transguyana Airlines opera 3 voli al giorno tra il piccolo aeroporto regionale di Paramaribo (Zorg en Hoop - codice aeroportuale ORG) e il suo equivalente a Georgetown (Ogle - codice aeroportuale OGL). Questi sono molto convenienti, poiché il principale aeroporto internazionale di Georgetown e Paramaribo è a un'ora dalla città. Nota che questi voli non arrivavano su Kayak o *******, ma erano facili da prenotare attraverso il sito web della compagnia aerea. FWIW, c'è stato anche un volo da PBM a OGL che può essere utile per coloro che arrivano al principale aeroporto di Paramaribo e si collegano a Georgetown. Il volo stesso è su un piccolo 12-seater (Cessna Caravan) che è divertente da solo. Vorrei avere più tempo in Surinam - che paese affascinante!

The Torarica Resort is a very good hotel. The property is very expansive close to a beautiful river, and it also adjourn the Royal Torarica hotel. The staff are very friendly, they know their stuff, very professional and always wear smiles on their faces. The food in thd hotel is very hood and the portions are on the very large sizes. The only downside is the booming music coming from one or two specific bars and lounges directly opposite the hotel. The noise kept us awake most of the nights, with thunderous shakes of the windows. The hotel management must engage the government to either move the clubs or limit their unnecessarily loud music to the daytime.

Andean Trails / Wilderness Explorers mi ha prenotato all'Hotel Palacios prima del mio viaggio a Kabalebo. Shreenka al desk front era la prima persona benvenuta, ospite e amichevole che ho incontrato. Mi sentivo così benvenuta a casa immediatamente. L'hotel si trovava in una posizione ideale, a piedi dal forte, passando il palazzo presidenziale, attraverso strade strette, con le vecchie case olandesi. È stato anche vicino alla Mosca / Sinagoga e alle aree commerciali. E con una banca con 2 edifici ATM lontano. Colazione generosa e buona. La stanza era pulita e ben progettata, con una comoda materassi e buoni cuscini. Sarebbe sicuramente rimasto lì!
