Hotel in zona Tahiti Discovery, Papeete

On our way to Moorea, we stopped over at the Hilton Tahiti for a couple of days. But those couple of days ended up being a lovely mini-vacation in itself. This property is exquisite because of its location and because it is very well managed. Usually we prefer an upper floor location, but upon checking-in, the very friendly front desk agent, Here, responded to our request for a ”quiet” room with a lovely ground-floor location with a large patio overlooking the flowering gardens and the ocean. Exquisite! The room was very clean, very comfortable and very quiet. (Veryx3!) It was also well designed and thoughtful in its detailing. Breakfast was served in the main restaurant and as Diamond members, we had a reserved window table each morning overlooking the water and the colorful inhabitants. What a thoughtful and simple touch that goes a long way in recognizing Hilton loyalty, and we noticed more of those simple yet graceful touches demonstrated by the staff during our stay. It seems that this property, like most hotels on the island of Tahiti, is used as a launching pad for guests to travel to the other islands and also as a stop on their way home while waiting for a red-eye flight out of PPT. Because of that, there are always a number of people and groups coming and going at all times. And this hotel handles it beautifully. While some properties might show their strain under such pressure, the Hilton actually shines brighter by being able to treat each guest with the wonderful hospitality and friendliness that graces all of French Polynesia. A decent hotel in Tahiti that is value for money. The only negative of the room is that the shower head was fixed far to low so showering required crouching.

L'hotel è davvero vecchio, probabilmente negli anni novanta; soprattutto nel bagno, il pulsante è rotto. Non c'è molto spazio in hotel e non c'è molto da giocare.Quando vado a causa del vento, non c'è nessun progetto sulla riva.Ho fatto un giro intorno all'isola, e molti luoghi sono chiusi a causa del vento. Soprattutto, è comprensibile che chiudere all'aperto sia il perche'il museo è chiuso. La colazione e la cena dell'hotel sono molto generali Se vuoi rimanere sull'isola principale, è meno costoso di Hilton.

Il nostro soggiorno era in ordine. I problemi più grandi erano il bar e il ristorante. Il bar a fianco della piscina non tornarono mai a chiedere riempimenti. Era stato difficile ottenere l'attenzione degli offerenti del bar. Quando ci chiesero di riempire dopo 20 minuti, ci diedero le fatture di firmare prima di servirci delle bevande, e quando ci chiederono di firmare la fattura, dimmo che non ci daremmo se non ci davano le bevande che avevamo ordinato, e questo si protrae per tre riempimenti. Finalmente ci siamo mangiati e siamo andati al ristorante. Non abbiamo una prenotazione (solo due persone) e hanno semplicemente detto ”nessun seggio senza prenotazione”. Il desk front non l'ha mai suggerito né il personale del ristorante che controllasse le aperture a un altro orario. Questa era la nostra ultima notte di vacanza, e ci aspettavamo un bel pranzo finale e delle bevande, ma invece dovevamo andare con un gusto amargo nella bocca. Molto deluso.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à la Pension Te Miti à Tahiti. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement Fred et son épouse, qui s'est montré disponible et très serviable tout au long de notre séjour. La pension est idéalement située à quelques minutes à pied d'une belle plage de sable blanc, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement des eaux cristallines de Tahiti. De plus, elle est à proximité de plusieurs commodités locales, ce qui est très pratique pour explorer les environs sans avoir à se déplacer trop loin. Les chambres sont simples mais confortables et propres. Elles offrent tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour agréable. La décoration est authentique et reflète bien l'atmosphère polynésienne. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et comprend des fruits frais locaux, du pain, et des confitures . Fred et son épouse sont toujours prêt à donner des conseils sur les meilleures excursions à faire et les endroits à visiter. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les recommandations pour des activités locales et des restaurants. La Pension Te Miti offre une ambiance conviviale et détendue. C'est un lieu parfait pour se détendre et se déconnecter. Les espaces communs sont agréables et bien entretenus, avec des jardins tropicaux qui ajoutent une touche de verdure et de tranquillité. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Pour un prix très raisonnable, vous bénéficiez d'un service de qualité et d'un cadre paradisiaque. C'est une excellente option pour ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience authentique sans se ruiner. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement la Pension Te Miti à tous ceux qui cherchent un hébergement abordable, confortable et convivial à Tahiti. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !

Bene.Le tracce circostanti, il mare e la scena sono i migliori.

So we were staying on Tahiti but planned a day trip by ferry/car to Morrea. After sunset we planned to return to the port to take the ferry back to Tahiti. We got back to the port but no ferry! There happened to be a girl there so I asked if it's late. She said no ferry till the next day!! (I had booked the wrong day) She was on the fone with someone in French and finally said...come over here! So Timmy showed up and he happened to be the supervisor at the Manava. After speaking with his friend at the front desk, even though the resort was sold out, Timmy was able to offer us a very special, low rate that even included breakfast. Still stunned we drove to the resort and saw his friend (sorry his name starts with L) checked us in and helped us with other questions we had AND then take us to our room to show us around. We were treated to a garden bungalow (pictured) with private pool and garden. The room itself was enormous with all amenities and comfort. After we settled we went to the bar to relax and have some bar food. When we were there the live entertainment was just leaving but the scene was still very active. The next morning after breakfast, we headed to the infinity pool which was fantastic. The views were amazing in all directions. The view to the sea includes the overwafer bungalows and the opposite view was the hotel and the dramatic mountains rising in the background. We've been to a lot of resorts and can tell sincerity of the staff and at the Manava everyone smiled and offered Tahitian hospitality at every corner. We were able to spend some time after checkout at the pool until, sadly, it was time to leave for our ferry (we booked accurately this time). I'm in the travel business myself and have been telling everyone when in Morrea, the Manava is the place to be. A warm maururu to Timmy and his staff for saving us and making us feel welcomed.

Unico 5 stelle dell'isola, molto valido. Siamo stati 3 notti durante il nostro viaggio di nozze e siamo stati benissimo. Le camere overwater sono molto belle e spaziose (nonché anche abbastanza moderne per gli standard), dotate di minibar con bevande incluse nel prezzo che vengono riforniti ogni giorno. Si mangia divinamente. Personalmente non mi ha entusiasmata il buffet del sabato ma ai ristoranti, alla creperie e a colazione è tutto molto buono, impiattato con cura e fresco. La spiaggia non è effettivamente grande ma chi soggiorna in overwater può stare anche comodamente tutto il giorno sul proprio pontile. Kayak, paddle e gym inclusi. Sinceramente consiglio il soggiorno in overwater. È un'isola dove il meteo cambia molto velocemente e l'overwater rende il soggiorno più flessibile riuscendo a godere al meglio dei cambiamenti repentini del tempo.
