Tranquilandia

Our stay at Tranquilandia was much needed, amidst the butterflies, trees and pool. Everything in that place makes us feel very close to the purest of soil, air and water. For me it was a place of realisation of how far I have been away from the natural environment. Mr. Shahul is an amazing human, conversing with him feels like reading a book. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thank You for letting us experience your home Mr.Shahul.

never prefer this property , number one cheating , they are charging for five star facilities , but providing zero star facilities , very bad rooms , they charged 4000 plus tax from me , you can get better room than this for 800 rupees . very bad service. complimentary breakfast is very bad, they served only one item ( Kerala Putt) for breakfast , no tea or coffee for breakfast, because of rat you cannot sleep at night. swimming pool is dirty and no changing room . you cant reach there by your , off road, arrogant behavior from the owner , i never stayed this type resort . i giving zero star .

Drove out of city, slightly mountainous area, chirping birds, pleasant stay and drive overall. a friendly pool size for women and kids. Home cooked food with owners being a chef, good dinner too! On the whole felt like, went to a Friend’s Home with such a nice family owning and maintaining the property 😃

Tranquil+land . True to the name I was in a land of tranquility. I stayed there with my 2 children for 8 days. It was a truly magical experience as a whole. The natural water pool is a big treat for anyone who looks for unchlorinated water. Then comes the food. Mouth watering breakfasts and dinners home cooked and authentic. The hosts Shahul and Sandrine didn't treat us like guests the entire time we were there. They saw to me as their own. I felt very much part of their family from the beginning. The facilities are comfortable and very eco friendly. The whole property is a beautiful scenic place and a perfect get away from the hustle of the city. The property is very child friendly and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. I will keep coming back to this place. I know I have a left behind a part of myself there.

We spent a total of three days with our family at Tranquilandia and really enjoyed it! The secluded site is surrounded by hills and is very green and feels like an oasis of calm after traveling through some Indian cities. The bungalows are very clean and comfortable and there is a great natural water pool to cool down. The Indian-French host family was very welcoming and friendly, provided us with delicious home-made food, lots of information and advice for the rest of our trip.

Tranquilandia is a very nice place with bungalows around a swimming pool, in a beautiful garden. Sandrine and her family were very kind and welcoming, and I don’t forget the very good cooking! The place is so quiet, I was awoken in the morning by the songs of birds. And we did nice walks around the domain, to the village or the river.

In every way a must go place.The genuine kindness off the whole family.Shahul,Sandrine and the two children Vidya and Mia.The exellent food ,the surroundings the peaceful invironment off the place .The nature swimming pool .By staying here for one month i made friends for life.

Glad we stayed at this place. Been travelling around India for more than 5 years and I can say this is the best place we have stayed so far. They never made us feel like guests and treated us like their own family friends. This place is surrounded by so many trees, flowering plants and we could smell the fragrance when we entered this place. It is a good place to relax away from the hustles of city life. This place is not a luxurious one, but a decent place to stay. We stayed there for two days in a twin-bedroom cottage with a neat bathroom. There is a large swimming pool and is filled with natural chlorine free water. We slept at night listening to gust of wind accompanying the rain and woke up to the singing of the birds. Both Sandrine & Shahul are very good chefs. For breakfast we had soft puttu with kadala curry, idli and sambar. When they came to know we like fish, they managed to get some fish in the market and wanted us to try their recipe. And it was a delicious fish curry & fish fry we had there for lunch. We had soup, chapatis with delicious roasted chicken, chicken curry, paneer for dinner. The dining area is amidst a beautiful garden and Shahul said pointing to the place, “breakfast with butterflies, lunch with birds and dinner with stars”, it is so true and I would say everything was served with love. Special mentions to Pickle and Comet who accompanied us during our night walks and wanting us to pet them. One who wants to spend time in a peaceful place with lovely people, this is the right place for you.
