The husband and i booked a last minute break to Torbay Guesthouse and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. From the moment we arrived, the owners James and Christine along with their family welcomed us into their gorgeous B & B. Our room was bright, clean and so comfy. There was no noise from other guests and we enjoyed some of the best sleep we’ve both had in a long time. Breakfast here is definitely something to rave about, the cooked option was incredible and would recommend to every guest staying here it’s cooked to order but but must be booked the night before. There is also a great selection of cereal’s, breads, teas, coffees and juices are all available. Thanks again guys, we can’t wait to come back for longer ☺️

What a gem. Fabulous hosts really couldn't do enough for us. Super friendly and a really cool guesthouse. Super clean and tidy and fantastic breakfast. Thanks James and family.

This guesthouse is fantastic, the family are so welcoming and efficient, the rooms are comfortable and we had an awesome stay, I would highly recommend this place, location is perfect and the breakfast honestly has the best sausages I’ve ever had!! Give them a try!! I work in a hotel and this place is great.

James and family were lovely and very helpful Rooms were clean and tidy all you can want The honesty bar is such a great touch The buffet breakfast was great there was a huge variety we will definitely be back

Revisited the guest house at the beginning of July, and very impressed with the improvements carried out by the new owners. The room was comfortable, with new bedding etc, and very clean. The showers have been uprated and mine was excellent. Breakfast is great and James will prepare what you ask for. A really nice stay and great value. This visit, I also spent more time at the Preston Sands end of the seafront, and it's really lovely. Torbay Guest House is great value accommodation in a very relaxing spot.

We had a room in the attic. It wasn't huge but a good size double with a comfortable mattress. Could have benefitted from a towel rail by sink but only a minor thing. Very pleasant room with a good fan and a good Size fridge. Lots of nice little touches, biscuits, tissues nice toiletries. Very clean and fresh. James seems a great guy, very warm and welcoming, eventhough we booked last minute just for one night. Nice lounge area with bar facility. We had to park in the car park but it's very close and the £10 charge still meant it was cheaper than many other options. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay again.

I spent a week here and everything was perfect and nothing was to much trouble. The B and B is well situated and off street parking is perfect a pub at the end of the road what more could you want. James and Christian were very friendly and made the stay very pleasant.

Fantastic BnB!!! We stayed here for a week whilst renovating our bathroom, everything you could want and more in a b and b, it's a shame we didn't get to make the most of it. It's in a great location with the beach a minute walk away plus the added bonus of the lounge and garden area for guests to relax in. There's plenty of games to play and books to read in the lounge along with the bar (which was our favourite), just need to pop your money in the honesty box and serve yourself a nice drink! Lastly the owners James, Christine and family are amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We would 110% recommend staying here if you are visiting South Devon.
