Blue Waters Lodge

Julia and Iain made us feel welcome the moment we walked through the door . I stayed there with my 7 year old grand daughter and we had the twin room on the top floor . Spacious , clean and fresh room . Comfy beds and we both slept well during our 6 nights there . There is a fridge in the room and you are provided with fresh milk and water daily . As well as tea bags , coffee and biscuits . In the bathroom , there are flannels , a hair turban , lens cleaner , shower caps , sun cream as well as shower and hair gel and a rubber duck . You have to give the duck a name and take it home . The little things like this really are the big things that make Blue Waters so special . I requested decaf tea at breakfast and they gave me decaf teabags for my room too . Nothing was to much trouble . A good choice of breakfast , including cereals , cooked , yogurt , fruit and fruit juices . They do their best to cater to dietary requirements ( advance notice obviously preferred giving them time to get what ever is requested in for your arrival) . Ideal location and Julia and Iain are knowledgable about attractions in the area and will happily advise on places to go . Whether staying as a solo traveller , couple or family , they are able to give information on the area suitable for your individual requirements. I have stayed at Blue Waters before and would not hesitate in using them again and I’d recommend them to everyone . Home is where the WiFi connects automatically, blue waters is certainly home from home for me . There is an information booklet in each room with WiFi details in and taxi details in as well as lots of other useful information.

What a great place run by Julia and Iain who made us so welcome we felt spoilt as was our 12 year old retriever nothing was too much trouble . Our room was spotless . Cleaned every day .tea / coffee facilities plus biscuit jar replenished daily . I defy anyone leaving the breakfast table feeling hungry such a choice . If you are looking for a great B&B then do not look any further . Run by a great couple and in a great location . Went above and beyond to get us settled into the accommodation. It was a very comfortable, cosy and a spotless room with fresh milk in a small fridge to house it. A good cooked breakfast as well. Such overall great value . Best to book direct . Cut out the middle man too.

Well where do we start .. An amazing relaxing week away in Paignton at the most amazing Bluewater Lodge ..Our hosts Julia and Iain simply could not have done any more to make our trip more magical... The rooms were faultless in every sense they were just simply beautiful spotlessly clean and had everything and more you could ask for .. The Breakfast was superb and plentiful always cooked fresh and piping hot along with cereal fruit yoghurt etc .. rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided along with the lovely touch of fresh milk and water in the mini fridge ..The bar was lovely for a nice relaxing drink in which we got to know our hosts a little better and struck up a friendly evening conversation and left being not just our wonderful hosts but special friends ... This is by far the best and friendliest place we've been to and would recommend it in a instant it really is paradise on the English Riviera... Thank You Julia and Iain we truly have had the best week ever and we will be seeing you again very soon ❤️

A wonderful couple with a spotlessly clean b&b who are generous, caring and entertaining. Food is excellent, plenty to do locally. All the amenities you could possibly need and hosts who are knowledgeable about the local area. Highly recommend and we will be back with our children next time!

What can I say about this place but WOW! A real home from home in every way. I can't praise it enough. Julia and Iain (Bob) were perfect hosts who not only treated us like family but also became part of our family, joining in with our fun and games like they had known us forever. I can't recommend this B&B enough. Nothing was too much trouble. They even helped us celebrate our daughters 21st despite the fact that she was actually staying with us.
