Rowcroft Lodge Guest House B&B

We had a lovely stay at Rowcroft Lodge! We stayed for two nights and everything was just perfect. The location is right by the beach, which made it even better. There was always enough parking available, so no issues there. The lodge has recently been refurbished and everything looked fresh and shiny. Our room was unbelievably clean, which made our stay super comfortable. But the highlight of our visit was the lovely couple, Sarah and Paul – they were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Their warm hospitality really made our experience unforgettable. And of course, we can't forget the absolutely delicious breakfast! We had the full English, and it was spot on – Sarah clearly knows her way around the kitchen. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place – we'd definitely come back!

Great stay at Rowcroft in July, booked last minute for four nights and stayed in a double room with great views over the park and sea, owners were very flexible over check in (we phoned when we arrived and they came back from the beach to meet us). No problem finding a parking space on the private driveway in front of the building. Room lovely and clean and well presented. Breakfast ordered in advance the night before and cooked for chosen time, rooms not serviced daily which isnt necessary for a short stay, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and refill stations on each landing. Location is great for Goodrington, Paignton and Torquay. Once parked up at Rowcroft, we didnt need to use the car at all. We walked into Torquay on our first day and caught the bus back, Paignton is only a 15 min walk through the park and once there, you can get the steam train to Dartmouth (train terminates at Kingswear where you catch the ferry across the river to Dartmouth, we also did the river cruise from Dartmouth). Thank you for a great break, we hope to visit again in the future.

This is a lovely Guest House and ran by a lovely couple. It is clean, comfortable and the perfect base for Brixham and Dartmouth. With local buses and railway nearby. I can recomend the steam train to Dartmouth. Breakfast is more than adequate and sets you up for some lovely walks along the coast towards Paignton Harbour and Brixham. We have been here twice and will be returning.

Absolutely fantastic little guest house in a lovely location. Sarah and Paul were great hosts and very helpful with plenty of local knowledge. Room had obviously been recently renovated to a really high standard including shower room (Room 3). Breakfast was great too … full English featuring eggs and tomatoes from the back garden. Free refill stations on landing for tea / coffee / milk / loo roll really handy. Bottles of filtered water in reception to take / return for refill. Parking for three cars out front and we never found a problem finding a free space on the road out front (it was September though). Definitely recommend hope to return !

This is our second visit here, and as usual Sarah and Paul are the perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble ! Beautiful and clean B and B, with a delicious locally sourced breakfast ! Ideal location for beautiful walks by the beach and into Paignton ! Would highly recommend !

Just got home after a lovey weekend at Rowcroft lodge. Warm friendly hosts Sarah & Paul were lovely from the minute we arrived, nothing too much trouble, room was spotless plenty of space with great hanging area,tv free wifi,tea coffee milk & fresh bottled water,fresh towels shampoo,conditioner nothing else needed. Breakfast was 10/10 all made fresh with eggs from own chickens ☺️ delicious. Lovely walk to beach literally minutes,also not far to walk into Paignton. Loved every minute and would definitely recommend and definitely return thank you both from Nicola & Colin xx
