We stayed here for a week and it ended up feeling like home. The new owners and staff are wonderful and attentive. The location is ideal if you like being able to access the walking street action without being in the thick of it. The 15 minute walk to walking street is pleasant and scenic, taking you along local homes, rice fields and a bamboo bridge. It's a quick scooter ride to town, to beautiful sunset spots and hiking trails, and you don't have to walk to town to access amazing coffee, cafes and smoothie bowls. The farmstead next door has terrific coffee, and a few minutes walk down the street, we found a wonderful cafe right out of a Miyazaki movie called Dammie, which was next to Bom Bowls, a great smoothie bowl spot. The central landscaping feature is a large pond with a fountain and gazebo with lots of fish, and a natural pool ... we came back from each day's adventures to a chorus of frogs greeting us as we made our way back to our bungalow. Ours was clean and comfortable (and airconditioned :), though the water pressure in the shower could be higher. If you like to party and drink every night, this might not be the spot for you as you have to walk along the pond to get to your bungalow. Probably best to stay in town where you can safely stumble to your hotel. If you like to be close to the action, but have a peaceful homebase, we highly recommend Pairidise.
