Hotel Mansion Pahalgam

Beautifully located with the Lidder river flowing on one side and snow clad peaks on the other also adjacent to the famed Pahalgam Golf course! This old ancestral property is away from the cacophony of the chaotic city traffic offering lush green premises. Rooms offer great views, are spacious with wooden flooring and comfortable beds equipped with electric blankets. Washroom is slightly cramped but has modern fittings. Buffet meals have limited options and smaller helpings .. can improve. We experienced Power and Wifi interruptions frequently. The hotel has a power backup which is used sparingly .. probably to save on diesel costs. Overall a great stay ..!

Beware: The Mansion Hotel, Pahalgam partially burnt last week, in Pahalgam is taking bookings on booking.c om and other international and Indian sites, without notifying the guests. It was a shocking experience for us UK and USA travelers. Upon arrival no one around, we were sure we have been scammed!!The manager then re-negotiates rates down once the people have shown up after a long drive. The remaining rooms/cottage are poorly maintained. We spent whole night killing bugs!! Food as breakfast being prepared in temporary kitchen in unhygienic conditions. Before checkout, manager disappeared, we had to wait ..Employees begging for tips since not paid any salary. This hotel needs to be shut and removed from websites. We were prevented from leaving premises unless paid cash, credit card machines not working, unofficial receipt only.

Great hospitality and beautiful place for visit our stay was comfortable and amazing service is awesome staff is so helpful and friendly food needs little bit improvement management is fine will definitely for next time for visit keep it up guys

Stayed at Hotel Mansion Pahalgam for 2 nights . Location of the hotel is very good , very near to lidder river . Garden sitting is available in hotel and that’s the experience to share . Food quality and variety is not so good but overall experience is good

I had the displeasure of staying at this property for two nights. After shelling out 15,000/ night for a double room with an extra bed we did not have power and water pressure for the first day. The hotel made no effort to compensate for the inconvenience. The rooms are poorly done up and wear a tired look. The bathroom is a pittance. The food is pathetic for the prices commanded. They do not even serve lunch at this property. There is nothing good about this place save the location. The hotel lobby smells musty, perhaps the carpets have never been cleaned. You are better off at a budget hotel. Avoid at all costs!

We stayed for 2 nights . Pathetic is the word. Lack of service , lack of staff. The Manager and the guy who takes care of reservations are rude. The owner accepted that post covid main staff has left and they are running the show with whoever is available. Right now avoid staying . May be it’ll take sometime for them to come at par with other available properties.
