This boutique hotel is nicely situated within walking distance of the train station and all that Oxford has to offer. The staff were friendly, especially the ladies who took care of the rooms, and Chris, who kindly carried our luggage up the steep staircase. The bed was comfy, the room spacious, and overall, the location was quiet. Water, tea, coffee and fruit were available 24/7, and breakfast was provided in the attractive dining area. A couple of suggestions: install a hook or coat rack, so guests can hang their coats or towels in the rooms; maybe remove a piece of artwork to better utilize wall space. We stayed in room 4, which was directly above the meat smoker/kitchen exhaust unit, which hummed all night long. Not a problem if you like consistent noise. There was a fan provided in the room, which we left on all night to mask the noise from the unit. Unfortunately, the smoke from the unit also rose into the room, so we kept the windows closed if the smoker was in action. When the unit was off, it was blissfully quiet. Maybe consider upgrading/replacing the windows in that room - a modern window fixture would muffle the sound. Breakfast was adequate but somewhat repetitive. Perhaps give guests the option to mix and match the breakfast items provided, ie sausage and toast versus a full plate of food. Overall, we had a nice stay at the hotel and the suggestions above are provided to enhance the stay for future guests.

The hotel is conveniently located for visiting Oxford as the No 6 bus is located outside the Hotel and runs every 20 minutes on weekdays. Parking available at £6 per day, breakfast is buffet style and is good (£18 per person if not booked beforehand as in part of a deal) Swimming pool and Gym is good, book before going. All amenities available for a this type of star hotel you would expect and 24 hour reception.

I required somewhere to stay that would be local to an early appointment that i had on Monday 13th November. Having searched local B&B's etc and checked out a number of reviews The Conifers Guest House appeared to fit the bill. The booking was through *********** and once confirmed i was also advised that my room on the day had been upgraded. The room was ground floor to rear of the main property namely Number 10. Unfortunately the room central heating did not work and hot water took an age to come through. The room upgrade was in fact what i would call a family room with a single and double bed plus a kitchenette so all in all large enough for a single person stay. The only heating i could find was that of a small oil filled radiator and took some hours to warm the room up. Unfortunately the toilet and shower cubicle room was very cold. The room overall requires updating at best but as a single man staying just one night it was just about tolerable. If this was a free upgrade it leaves me wondering what was i upgraded from ???

Perché dare il punto completo, prima che siamo arrivati, abbiamo un personale entusiasta per aiutarci a prendere il bagaglio. Viviamo al terzo piano. La stanza è molto in alto e in basso. Il personale della ricetta è molto entusiasta per aiutarci a parcheggiare. Il colazione è gratuito e pagato. È necessario prestare attenzione, Se non scegliere la colazione sull'ordine, non abbia paura. Ha anche la colazione per tutti, cioè il pane di panino e latte di frutta e frutta di caffè. È gratuito. Il luogo è molto conveniente. Passeggiare al Krist College, vale a dire alla Sala magica di Harry Potter, e andare al Museo Ashmolin in 15 minuti, Super comodo!L'immagine è un colazione a due punti, 13 pezzi.

Ancora una volta ospite di questo magnifico hotel in magnifica posizione ad Oxford ( peraltro dotato di ampio parcheggio ) Già l’edificio , all’esterno , fa innamorare, antica magione inglese. L’interno è curato ed accogliente , l’accoglienza alla reception estremamente professionale e garbata . Ci è stata assegnata una magnifica e luminosa camera nella parte più “ antica” dell’hotel , con l’unica pecca dell’assenza di aria condizionata . Colazione ricca e varia , servita da personale molto attento alle esigenze dei clienti in una sala bellissima . È la quinta volta che soggiorno in questa perla … in attesa della sesta . Bravissimi
