We love it! We will definitely come back again and recommend it to our friends. Good food, clean room, a good place to relax, and get back to nature and animals.

Удобные палатки со всеми удобствами. Красивая территория, озеро с бегемотами. Хорошая еда в ресторане. Единственное, маловат выбор блюд на завтрак.

Esperienza di 2 notti con un gruppo di 15 studenti. Struttura molto bella immersa in un ambiente naturale incantevole ad un prezzo molto concorrenziale. Personale gentile e disponibile. La struttura centrale con reception e ristorante si presenta in tipico stile africano; ottima la ristorazione. Alcuni di noi hanno provato la piccola ma deliziosa SPA, godendo di un trattamento di ottimo livello. I safari sono un po' deludenti in quanto gli animali sono in numero molto ridotto rispetto ad altre riserve visitate in passato. Inoltre i felini (Cheeta e leoni) sono confinati in un'area a parte e a un costo extra e questo non è stato apprezzato. Una delle attività comprese nel pacchetto e già pagate, la visita alle Caves, non prevede il trasporto e quindi, a malincuore, abbiamo dovuto rinunciare. Questo è inaccettabile. La nota dolente sono le tende, per quanto molto caratteristiche e ben attrezzate: il riscaldamento è assolutamente insufficiente e mal funzionante, del tutto inesistente un sistema di riscaldamento in bagno. Nella tenda 19 il condizionatore ha smesso di funzionare la seconda notte e ci siamo letteralmente congelati. Sempre nella stessa tenda abbiamo avuto la mancanza di acqua calda e la riparazione è stata fatta con molto ritardo rispetto alla nostra segnalazione. Senz'altro il Buffelsdrift è molto piacevole in estate ma in inverno è del tutto sconsigliabile.

Struttura meravigliosa, tende molto belle intorno ad un laghetto...dove potevi vedere gli ippopotami. Colazioni e pasti fantastici. Esperienza con gli elefanti molto carina. Bush safari carino ma non eccezionale. Purtroppo un pochino freddo durante la nottr

The accommodation on the lake is exceptional, the food is unforgettable gorgeous, the game drives & cheetah 🐆 tours is world-class, the staff are exceptional, efficient & friendly.

We had a wonderful time, we also met the greatest personalities (Charles - the porter). The room, location and atmosphere as breathtaking.

Everything was perfect. Watching the hippos from our room was amazing. All the staff were incredible and we saw so much in the game drive

We recently celebrated a very special 80th birthday at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The venue was absolutely stunning – our setting overlooked the dam, creating a peaceful and picturesque backdrop for the day. Despite how busy the lodge was, the service was impeccable. Every member of staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were taken care of, making the celebration truly memorable for our whole family. A special mention must go to Eddy, our bush safari guide – he was outstanding! So knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, especially with our elderly family members. He made the wildlife experience even more special, sharing fascinating insights and making everyone feel safe and included. The tented accommodation was a real treat – luxurious, comfortable, and blended beautifully with the natural surroundings. The cherry on top was the meerkat encounter – a unique and magical experience we’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone at Buffelsdrift for making this such a remarkable and heartwarming celebration. We would return in a heartbeat!

What an awesome stay. One of the best! Everything perfect. Game drives, elephants and the best for us the Lion feed with lovely guide Katherine. She was excellent! Restaurant and service & staff amazing! Accommodation 5 star. Our third visit and we will be back.

After my 4th visit with tourists from America, they already planning their next tour via Buffelsdrift. The standard was always good, but it is forever improving. Nice to see new departure point for game drives and some other exciting changes in the pipeline. African Moon Adventures will be back!

Thank you to everyone of the Buffelsdrift team. It was the highlight of our South Africa tour. Very well equipped glamping tents and even in cold nights with 6 degrees it was not cold. The park does not have so many animals but every safari was worth doing it. We made lion feeding, cheetahs and mercats. The highlight was the night safari as we saw 9 bat eared foxes. The staff was very kind without any exception. The food was very good. Also the meet was always on the point you wanted. Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks again

Awesome experience. Top quality food and accomodation. Very comfortable and well equiped rooms. Proper coffee in the rooms. Beautifull views and friendly staff. Staff go out of their way to be accomodating and to help. Very friendly. Game drive informative and in very good spirit. I only have praise for all the staff. They make this an awesome venue to visit.

We visited just to do the Elephant Experience and I’m so glad I did. I was a bit dubious about the idea but when I saw how the handlers treated and respected the Elephants I was very impressed. Great work…… Thank you for looking after Malaika, Jabari & Bulelo.
