Hotel con parcheggio a Oslob

Siamo arrivati direttamente dall'aeroporto all'hotel. Sono entrato in camera prima delle sette e otto di mattina. This was possibly the best 2 star hotel I've been to, I'd say more of a 2.5. It's small and basic, certainly not fancy (it's a 2 star) but it looks like it was nicely renovated. I had a room on the 3rd floor, which might be a bit nicer. I asked for a room with a good bathroom and they seemed to think the 3rd floor was better than the 2nd. The bathroom was small but nicely tiled. The water pressure wasn't great, but adequate. It was clean, clean, clean. The sheets were very soft and some of the best I've had even counting 5 star hotels. The sheets were a bit tattered, but again it is a 2-star. Oh, and it has A/C which was a nice bonus. The air deflects into the bathroom so close the bathroom door for max cooling. I had the room facing the street with a balcony so likely the best room in the house. I booked it because I can walk to the whale shark spot from there, just 450m. Also check out the bbq place next door. Great chicken quarter for 80 pesos and rice for 10. Also very nice and gave helpful info about the bus and whale sharks.

Went to Oslob to swim with the whale sharks. Two families, total 9 pax. Needed a place to stay for the night, so we could start early at the whale place the Next morning. This place is perfect. Small but nice. Clean and easy parking in front. 2 minute walk to the whale place. Supervisor Mr. Ken was super service minded. Arranged so instead of queing at 04:00 in the morning, and wait for 4-5hours, he booked us a swimming at 07:00. Could not be better. Many thanks Mr Ken. Saved us some sleep and time in que. Next door is a restaurant. I really recommend Way Shack if you want a good experience of the whale shark swimming.

Sono rimasto qui qualche volta non perché tutto è grande qui, ma perché le tariffe di Agoda sono molto più economiche di quelle pubblicate. Pros: * Il luogo ha una splendida vista sul risalto del sole * Ha accesso alla spiaggia (a volte, tenete presente le onde forti) Cons: * Le tariffe delle camere sono molto più elevate di altri alloggi nella zona. Se vuoi tariffe scontate, controlla Agoda * Le camere sono molto basilari anche il più costoso * Il cibo e le bevande sono molto preziose. La dimensione del servizio è troppo piccola per il prezzo e non vale la pena. (Sfortunatamente, non ci sono altri ristoranti o cibo vicino). Non dire che mi hanno servito un pasto rincaldato una volta. È disgustoso! * I mosquiti sono in tutto il posto. Non sanno nemmeno come affrontare questo problema. Quindi, portate solo un po'di lozione di repelente insetto. Ho già condiviso queste feedback al proprietario/gestore, ma non credo che stiano facendo alcuna azione in questo senso. Dopo qualche visita, vedrete le stesse questioni.

It’s a nice place to stay for a few nights. It’s very unique with it’s Japanese garden type aesthetic with a bar area. There’s even a pan in the middle where you can experience a hot bath like you are being cooked. The staff here are really helpful and really dedicated to making your experience lovely. Plus they have a cute, hardworking staff member there so that’s always a plus! 👍 The area is also close the whale shark tourist attraction and Tumalong falls by car (about 10-15 minutes). If you don’t have a car, the staff will help you plan a tour which includes getting transportation for those tourist areas. The room was decent. Booked a double bedroom on the 2nd floor and it was really nice looking. Also they do have fair room service food pricing and they cook it fresh. Really loved the quiet atmosphere of this lounge, especially at night were it had a gorgeous view. Pros - Fair pricing for the type of room and experience you get - Close to the whale shark and waterfall attractions - Staff can help you book tours if you didn’t plan ahead - Quiet and relaxing outside with a Japanese garden aesthetic - Rooms have AC and hot water - Staff are very helpful and will attend to your every need Cons - The Wi-fi is pretty spotty depending on which room you book, especially on the rooms on the 2nd floor. Sometimes it would find the wi-fi network and then immediately then can’t find it. 1st floor rooms seem to be more consistent with wi-fi compared to the 2nd floor, but some of the 1st floor rooms have a communal bathroom and shower (kind of like US colleges) There is probably a dead zone in the first rooms of the 2nd floor. Getting a stronger/additional wifi extender/receiver probably can fix this - I don’t if it’s just the room I booked, but there were only 3 channels on the tv cable and none of them were watchable. It was kind of surreal since I never seen a lodge with that limited of a cable selection, so don’t plan to be watching cable here when you stay. The good news is that none of the tv ports are blocked off so you can technically connect a HDMI cable if you have one to the tv and hook up an external device like your laptop or Apple TV and watch tv that way. Despite these flaws, I really enjoyed the 1 and half days that I stayed there. It was a place where you can truly relax and meditate after you visit the tourist areas. The wifi issue and the cable issue really didn’t bother me much since this is place you would usually stay for about 1-2 days max to see the attractions and then leave.
