Hotel in posizione strategica rispetto al centro e al porto, ove potersi imbarcare per una puntatina al fiordo. Camere silenziose e confortevoli, letto super comodo (accidenti, che dormite ho fatto!), unico neo è l'aria condizionata in camera: impossibile spegnerla. Bagno non molto ampio, ma sufficientemente grande, ma privo di bidet. La colazione a buffet (a pagamento) è stata abbondante soprattutto per i prodotti continentali/salati , forse meno assortimento per i prodotti da forno dolci (ad esempio, torte o muffins). Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Prezzi in linea con in contesto della città che non è una meta particolarmente economica.

Lady Reception Front Desk è stata amichevole e ospite quando abbiamo controllato a circa 630pm il 07 aprile. Grazie per la sua raccomandazione di un buon colazione in città e ci piace davvero il colazione e è stato di grandi varietà di cibo e servizi da ristorante è stato fantastico! La stanza e tutti i prodotti domestici sono puliti e puliti. Molto consigliato per tutti!

My understanding, and that of a couple who shared the apartment with me was that we would each have a private room in a hostel. This isn't a hostel at all, the budget option is actually an apartment share which we were only informed of when we arrived. Firstly, I will say the bed was really confortable with nice linen and the space for my possessions in my room was good, a nice large mirror too. The kitchen was ill-equiped, the door on the fridge only sealed if I placed a chair against it, and the utensils and knives and forks etc were not adequate if the place was full. Could have done with being re-decorated as rather tatty. The bedrooms have windows into the main living areas, but not to the outside, so fresh air was limited, and with flimsy curtains over those bedroom windows there was less privacy than was optimum, particularly when sharing with strangers. The doors to our rooms were extremely squeaky. Three bedrooms share the kitchen/living area and bathroom, so up to six people which should be manageable but IT IS NOT A HOSTEL. There was no information at all concerning local amenities, and no cloths etc for keeping the communal area clean. I requested and received dish soap from reception and was given a towel instead of a cloth to keep the kitchen clean. No hand soap was provided as the dispensers in the kitchen and bathroom were empty, something that should never happen at the present time. Whether you share or rent self-contained accommodation for your own party greater attention to detail would greatly improve things.

L'hotel si trova a 5-6 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, proprio vicino al mare. Dispone di una piccola lobby, ma potremmo anche utilizzare alcuni tavoli del suo ristorante, mentre ci godiamo caffè o tè gratuiti durante tutta la giornata. Offre anche una cena leggera inclusa nel prezzo ed è stato uno dei motivi per cui l'ho scelto. La cena comprende un buffet di poche insalate e fantastici condimenti, oltre a una zuppa quotidiana, un pasto e pane appena sfornato. La colazione era molto gustosa, splendidamente decorata su un tavolino, con varietà di opzioni per tutti i gusti, immediatamente riempita quando svuotata. Tutto ciò che veniva offerto era di alta qualità. C'è anche una palestra e una sauna gratuite. La stanza non è grande, ma è sufficiente. Bella decorazione. Letti non troppo grandi in una doppia. Il bagno è piuttosto piccolo, con cabina doccia intelligente. Belle finestre enormi con sole tutto il giorno. Sorprendentemente, non c'era il frigorifero. La TV aveva solo pochi canali nazionali. Tutti i membri del personale sono molto gentili e disponibili. Ho ricevuto la camera immediatamente all'arrivo, poche ore prima dell'orario ufficiale del check-in. Il check-out è davvero ottimo: fissato a mezzogiorno. C'è un deposito bagagli molto piccolo ma gratuito. Alla fine, su Trip.com ho ottenuto un ottimo prezzo rispetto agli altri fornitori.

Alla reception un ragazzo non è troppo gentile, mentre una signora di mezza età è stata gentilissima Rispetto ad altri Scandic sembra meno elegante, ma la stanza è confortevole e la colazione molto abbondante

I stayed at the Best Western Plus City Hotel for 2 nights and then a single night a few days later (after returning from Copenhagen). I would have given the Hotel a 5 Rating based on the 2 night stay. However, the single night stay was not so good. I was visiting Oslo for sightseeing and was on my own, so booked a single room. My first room was perfect for what I needed. It was a single, but was roomy enough for me and was clean and had everything I needed (Tea/Coffee making facilities, TV, safe, Free Wifi (which was perfect for what I needed to do... checking places to visit on my phone, listening to podcasts/ radio). The bed was very comfy and was bigger than a standard single bed. The bathroom was again very clean and had a heated floor and a walk in shower. My room (401) overlooked the back of the hotel and was very quiet. However, on my second stay, I had room 601, which was roomy and with a bigger bathroom. Again the room was very clean and equipped with every thing I needed (although there was no safe in this room). The Wifi was not working in this room, which I did highlight to a member of staff (I am not sure if this was a temporary fault or that the Wifi does not reach the 6th Floor...... ). The main issue with this room, was that it overlooked the front of the hotel and you can hear the Trams and other noises from the streets. There is also building work going on opposite the hotel (which they do warn you about) and this was also very noisy in the day (although, I was out most of the day). It took me 5 mins to walk to the central train station and there are tram and metro stops a short walk from the hotel. The main shopping street is about 50m from the front door and there are a number of bars and places to eat within a short walk. I walked to the DFDS Ferry Terminal in 20mins. Breakfast was nice, with a selection of hot and cold items, including Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled egg, Beans etc (buffet Style). Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at the Best Western again, if I visit Oslo, as it is very central to the transport links and has everything I needed. However, I would ask for a room which does not overlook the front of the hotel.

La posizione dell'hotel è buona vicino alla stazione. Ci sono molti negozi vicino che possono comprare cibo. L'attrezzatura di pasto nella stanza è molto pronta per coloro che vogliono cucinare da soli.
