Our layover flight was cancelled so we only needed a room for the night so we chose Springhill Suites because it had complementary support shuttle and breakfast. Once we retrieved our baggage from the airport we called the hotel to request the shuttle but Everytime we called they would pick up and immediately place us on hold. I waited on hold for 15 minutes. My wife, a friend and I all were calling the hotel and Everytime they would immediately place us on hold. We finally gave up after 30 minutes and 20 calls and got an Uber so now we are out another $20. We got to the hotel 20 minutes after our last call to the hotel and there wasn’t a single guest in the lobby. The receptionist said they had a lot of people before we got there and we told them that they should at least acknowledge the phone call and not just place us on hold. She didn’t seem to care too much. My family travels a lot and we almost always stay at Marriott properties but this was a total fail!
