J’ai réservé une chambre annoncée « nouvelle génération ».
La seule chose qui était nouveau dans cette chambre est le chauffage électrique. Sinon, il s’agit d’une chambre telle qu’on les connaît depuis des années chez campanile avec un vieux volet roulant à sangles, des huisseries mal isolées aussi bien au niveau thermique que phonique
Par ailleurs, pour 14,95 €, le petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur. 30 minutes avant la fin du service : plus de baguette, plus de viennoiseries. Résultats 20 minutes après demande : une baguette à peine cuite qui a disparu tout aussi vite, mais de bonnes viennoiseries toutes chaudes.
Il faut racler le fond des pots de confitures et autres pour trouver de quoi se servir.
Véritablement déçu.

Arrivo alle 21:45, ristorante gia' chiuso, non mi viene offerto nessun servizio bar in alternativa. Struttura esterna abbastanza malandata, con luci esterne rotte e sacchi spazzatura abbandonati qua e la. Camera imbarazzante: piccola, con soffitto basso, pavimento in moquette, muri scrostati e danneggiati, con una forte sensazione di sporco generale. La porta di ingresso anche da chiusa lascia entrare un sacco di aria, si vede la luce esterna lungo tutto il suo perimetro. Nessun frigobar disponibile. Letto essenziale, solamente con piumino, lenzuola e due cuscini, sufficientemente puliti. Nessuna seconda coperta disponibile. Nessun armadio chiuso per riporre la biancheria, solo una libreria/armadio aperto con alcune grucce disponibili. Riscaldamento/condizionamento assente, solo una piccosa stufetta elettrica a muro. Bagno di dimensioni sufficienti, ma con dotazioni scadenti: solo un set di asciugamani (non cambiate la seconda notte), saponi disponibili solo da erogatori a parete un po' malmessi. Nessuna presa per rasoio elettrico. Lavabo pressoche' inutilizzabile: il rubinetto installato impedisce di infilarci sotto le mani. Tazza e asse wc sporchi. Doccia sufficientemente pulita. Colazione sufficiente, con pietanze di qualita' sufficiente ma mal disposte ed ammucchiate una sull'altra (croissant in primis); la seconda mattina gia' alle 8:00 tutti i dolci erano pressoche' finiti, rimasto solo un croissant crudo e immangiabile. Assistenza alla reception non sempre pronta a dare le informazioni necessarie (password internet, lavori in corso nel parcheggio e modalita' di parcheggio, etc). Costo totalmente disallineato con il trattamento ricevuto. Da evitare assolutamente.

Arrived after a long drive from south of France for a rest before morning ferry back home. On arrival you can see how unloved this place is. Shabby and dilapidated and upon entering our room the shabbily kept pace continued. Broken toilet seat, grey looking duvet sticking out of the crumpled cover. Not a place to spend a restful night after a hard days drive. To her credit, the lady on reception did offer another room but it wasn’t much better. We have stayed in many campaniles all over France over many years and this is by far the worst. Continued to port and got 1.00 A.M ferry. Not satisfactory.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and always found it to be quite adequate as a stopover on our way to or from the channel tunnel, but this time it was not good. No draft beer on arrival so opted for bottled beer and the guy on reception couldn’t find the price and when he did , had no change out of a €20 note! The meal choice was disappointing and my husband chose the burger with brie and mustard, but asked for no brie, but it was smothered in grainy mustard, which he had to scrape off. The resulting effect was unprintable, but needless to say he spent most of the night in the bathroom. The room had no ventilation other than leaving the window open, but the traffic noise was very loud so not a good nights sleep all round. Very disappointed with our stay and despite the convenience of it being just off the motorway, we will never go there again.

Overall very good.Let down by unhelpful and abrupt receptionist. Looks a bit run down from the outside but rooms were good and bed was comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Would be happy to stay again. Easy accèss from the motorway and about 7 minutes drive into the centre of St Quentin

Basic hotel we used as a stop over, handy location, decor was a little lacklustre but beds were comfy, room and bathroom were clean and shower pressure was good. With breakfast included it served its purpose well. Not somewhere I would recommend for a long stay but perfect as a crash pad.

Chambre petite mais fonctionnelle. Propreté literie très bonne .Par contre salle de bain , même si elle semble propre tous les entourages , recoins sont noirs, cela nécessiterait plus d’entretien et de refaire tous les joints. Dans la cuvette des toilettes je suppose que tous le fond noir et du tartre. (Tout cela a été signalé à la jeune femme à l’accueil photos à l’appui) et a préféré ne pas venir voir.Le petit déjeuner était très bien salé, sucré , viennoiseries café rien ne manquait. Personnel agréable.

Nous avions réservé une chambre donc nous déjeunions et dînions sur place, des pâtes réchauffées, pour mon fils adulte, et nous a la place des frites, des mini frites que l’on trouve en paquet pour l’apéritif… nous n’y sommes pas restés une deuxième nuit et sommes partis au baladin….plus jamais cet hôtel pour nous.

J’ai l’habitude des Campanile. Il est vraie que c’est une chaîne avec des locaux / chambres vieillissants mais parfois certains sont rénovés. Ce n’est pas le cas. Cuisine médiocre, choix au buffet inexistant… pas de mayonnaise il faut demander pour se voir apporter des tubes… Crudités achetées en supermarché ou métro en boîte… exemple de buffet : carotte râpées, œufs dure, cornichons…Charcuterie( jambon fumé, rosette et saucisson à l’ail) sans proposes de beurre… Pas de mayonnaise, pas de sauce à part une vinaigrette toute faite… Les plats… avec des ingrédients des plats de la vieille…. Sans goût et vraiment mal présenté La chambre sentait mauvais, lit taché durant les 3 nuits … donc draps non changés… Pas de Clim. Bref je ne reviendrai pas
