Premier Inn Stratford-Upon-Avon Waterways

Everything fine except for the check in. Hotel insisted that the rooms had not been paid for in advance and that to gain access i would have to pay at the desk I have therefore paid twice for the same booking I have tried Premier Inns complaints line but end up in an endless wild goose chase and no help

I was due to spend very little time in the hotel due to the nature of my business but was looking forward to my early breakfast; I was advised breakfast was served from 6.30am at check-in, however when I got to the room at 6.30am, there was no-one about, I waiting over 10 minutes and still no-one came, I went to reception to ask for help and there was no-one there either, by this time it was too late for me to get breakfast and had to leave.....very hungry!

Excellent few days. Rooms recently refurbished with new bathrooms. Good location with 15 minute stroll into town. Most important was exceptionally friendly staff from check in to the restaurant. Special shout-out to Ewa. All of them a credit to Premier Inn.

Pleasant enough stay for an anniversary. Very large price mark-up for Saturday night. No proper decaf coffee for the Nespresso machine (we had a Premier + room), nor at breakfast in the Thyme restaurant. Come on, we are not asking anything expensive or exotic, stop short-changing us decaf drinkers. Even quality instant brands are no match for real bean coffee! Wifi a bit flaky - forever disconnecting and couldn't get our streaming stick to work, although that may have been operator error. Would we stay again? Certainly at PI generally.

Spent one night here as a family, to spend some time together. Hotel was a five minute walk from the town. Very friendly staff and would definitely return

Great site and very clean and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good except the weak orange juice. Comfortable rooms and very quiet. Well trained staff - couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable

The Premier Inn tried to charge 10 pounds to use the room that was already available. There was no hot water in the room sink. Staff did nothing. Very poor.

Superb hotel great location not to be missed if in the area fantastic price. Didn't eat in but restaurant looked fine

At least 45% less expensive than other hotels within walking distance of the RSC. Clean. Strong wi-fi, multiple sockets and usb sockets. Good mood lighting. Day lounger at window, and large crisply sheeted bed (unfortunately I found pillows too firm and high which disturbed my sleep). Bathroom - good shower, good toiletries, couple of towels, good water pressure and hot water. Easy walk into main street, Shakespeare points of interest, the river and the RSC. Often no staff on reception - unfortunately the self check-in machine was out of service. Parking is good, be sure you understand the payment system and are exiting past camera within 10-mins of payment! McDonalds, Shops next door.
