La nuova biancheria da letto è paradisiaca. La doccia è un'ottima pressione e la camera per due ha cassaforte, mini frigo con acqua gratuita, bollitore con tè/caffè. Il bancomat nella hall prenderà l'addebito del visto USA per la naira locale, ne distribuirà 10.000 alla volta. La camera era un po' stretta. Vorrei che fossimo stati qui invece dell'appartamento, il loro letto era come una tavola. Personale molto rispettoso e professionale. Il POS non ha preso la carta di credito, né il bancomat, anche se shoprite lo ha fatto. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci, la prossima volta a Lagos.

The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and tranquil, with the added convenience of being very close to the airport, making it easy to avoid traffic and catch your flight. The staff, particularly Mr. PrinceWill and many of the front desk and dining staff, were polite and deserving of a 5-star rating. They deserve a huge raise. However, I can only give 4 stars due to an unpleasant encounter with a rude staff member when our AC wasn’t working. He initially blamed us for the issue but later brought a portable AC and apologized. Unfortunately, by that time, we were already tired and preparing to sleep in the heat since we had an early flight. The night managers could benefit from some customer service training. The food was generally good, though my sister did get sick from something she ate. Thankfully, she recovered, and the dining staff did apologize. The rooms are great, and on our return, we were fortunate that the AC was functioning better, though they still brought us a room AC to help with the heat. Overall, my experience was positive, but I'm not sure I would stay here again. I might explore other options Lagos has to offer.

Set in the city’s highbrow area of Ikeja, 3 miles from Murtala Muhammed International airport and ten minutes from the commercial district of Allen Avenue, is the luxury boutique CitiHeight Hotel. It is also in the vicinity of several global hotel brands including Ibis, Sheraton and Radisson Blu. Having booked our holiday straight after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s July 19th announcement, my daughter and I took our first post COVID-19 international trip in search of some culturally relevant inspiration. Lagos was a great option as it is on the UK government’s amber list of countries and a destination where we could really get immersed in the culture. Our UK airport experience was hectic to say the least, and we arrived a day later than scheduled. Even the most-prepared traveller is advised to have two or three back-up plans in case of “incaseities”. I sent a quick email to the hotel, explaining the last minute change in plans and luckily for us, Banji, the hotel manager was very accommodating and sympathetic to our plight. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP’s by the polite and friendly hotel staff who took our luggage and escorted us to our room on the 6th floor. Prior to our travel, we had made reservations through booking.com and in response to our welcome email, we made a special request for “a high floor with a birds eye view”. While our preference was peace and privacy, we anticipated endless trips down to the restaurant and bar. Our executive room was pretty much like the photos on the website. Palatial, lustrous and spacious, featuring a plush king size bed with bespoke bedside cabinets and an inviting lounge area. Alongside the usual amenities, there was the obligatory hand sanitizer, but I couldn’t help but notice the bold and intriguing artwork decorating the walls. What a fantastic way to showcase emerging as well as established artists. CitiHeight is a luxury boutique hotel, on par with international standards, and I would go as far as calling it an ‘art hotel’ considering the vast art collection and attention to visual aesthetics. The allure for me was the authentic art pieces dotted throughout the hotel. From the hotel entrance, to the lobby, restaurant, and on every floor. I saw choice object d’art pieces that fused local elements of traditional art within the luxury architecture, giving the hotel a sense of high-end opulence fused with contemporary cool. I began to envisage a ‘classic meets contemporary’ theme for a photo shoot. Tip: Take some Instagrammable shots around the hotel (Do not touch artwork). Pool Life: When it comes to ‘pool life’ at CitiHeight, just grab a sunbed and relax. Although the pool lacks an outside view, poolside was a popular hangout for my daughter and her friends. Since it had a private/secret garden feel that was ideal for swimming, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun during the day. Il pranzo era buono, tra i pascoli per colazione il loro nocciolo è il migliore. Il Deluxe e la camera King/Queen sono bellissimi e vale la pena di soggiornare. Mi è piaciuto davvero il mio soggiorno, l'ambiente è anche molto tranquillo e mi prenoterò un altro soggiorno qui presto.

I was very impressed with Leola. I searched for top-rated hotels in Ikeja area and it came up. The name did not impress me, but the pictures did. Then what I met there impressed me further. The place is neat. Bathroom is clean. The only minus in my shower is the white silicone at the corners of the shower. It could have been done better, or use grey cement for perfection. I like the comfort of the place.

This is a well furnished, comfortable hotel and it’s my second time staying here. However I doubt I’ll return again. This is because there is now a music kiosk in front of the hotel that insists on blasting music so loud it’s impossible to sleep. It’s that bad. The hotel management have refused to do anything about it or report it. The noise comes right through the closed windows. Sadly this will cost this wonderful hotel a lot repeat business. No customer is going to come back to suffer this noise oppression. The noise has definitely robbed it of a five star rating.

Ho avuto un bel tempo all’Ibis Hotel a Lagos. Ma la mia più grande delusione è stata che il mio telefono è stato rubato da uno dei guardiani di sicurezza dell’Ibis. Riposo al lato della piscina e purtroppo ho dormito. Quando sono salito, non riuscivo a trovare il mio telefono. Non sapendo che un guardiano di sicurezza ha rubato il mio iPhone 11. Ma poi abbiamo recuperato il telefono da lui.
