This is a great choice in Ohrid. The location is convenient in the old town. Rooms are modern and clean and wonderful facilities. There is a beautiful dining area just off reception with free coffee (maybe better than you will buy outside) and soup. Some rooms have terraces with lake views. Maybe the best feature is the helpful staff who are ready to assist with questions and help in any way

A summer holiday that we were looking forward to but was let down by Inex Olgica. Upon arriving in our room we found that the drain was blocked and after removing the plug we saw it was clogged with hair and other debris. We left the plug out in hopes that the staff would rectify this but we eventually had to do it ourselves. This leads on to the general lack of hygiene around the hotel with the female toilets in reception having dry urine on the seats despite the cleaning form being signed by the staff. Our room throughout our week stay was not swept and there was no availability to cleaning products to do this ourselves. For the meal times we attended we always found that there were pieces of cutlery and dinnerware that were not completely clear of food from the previous meal. When attending meals in the evenings we came to realise that despite steaks being on the menu they were never available to order. Having breakfast included with your stay is always a bonus but after having the same low standard thing seven days in a row it can get rather bland and different options on specific days would have been a welcomed change. Throughout they day it is nice to enjoy a snack but having to travel in to Ohrid town is an inconvenience and a small shop or snack bar would be ideal for guests to grab a quick bite. There may be a kettle, cups and sugar in your room but there was only two herbal tea bags available, no coffee or tea, which were not replaced. Not having these small luxuries included in a 5 star hotel is a bit strange and the complementary water is the two bottles when you arrive and that is it, despite not being able to drink the tap water. Relaxing around the pool and spa is a great way to unwind but when the sunbeds are forever collapsing behind you when on a incline it can get rather annoying, ruin your relaxation and be quite dangerous for some. We found that the staff around the hotel, mainly bar and restaurant staff, had a rather bad attitude towards certain guests and would be more inclined to help those that spoke a similar language. When asked for help it came across as if was an inconvenience to them or they would take their time to serve you which made us feel unwelcomed in the hotel. To end on a good note. The Sunset Bar was a diamond in the rough at Inex Olgica. The quality of service and drinks were outstanding. Ann-Marie was an amazing host and the staff working at the Sunset Bar were the highlight of our stay. For a 5 star hotel, in a prime location on Lake Ohrid, you would expect better.

When another property cancelled last minute, I booked us for one night here. I'm so very glad that I did! From the moment we arrived we were treating like friends and valued guests. Our host parked our car in the narrow but secure driveway (and also offered us street parking, if that had been our preference), offered a welcome drink and helped with the bags. He lent us a travel book and a map to use during our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and bright and the shower had lots of hot water. We were able to do laundry (for an extremely small fee) and they even hung the clothes on the line to dry so that we could enjoy our time in town, without worrying about coming back to do the laundry! The location was perfect, on a quiet street, just steps from the lake's promenade. We didn't have to rush in the morning to move the car while we enjoyed some final touring in the morning and were even given a gift upon departure.

Questo hotel è stato molto più bello di quanto molti hanno detto nelle loro recensioni. Abbiamo avuto un servizio molto amichevole, ed era in una posizione molto grande, proprio lungo la strada dal lago, con un bel colazione dove si è dovuto sedersi e godere del sole e della vista del lago con delizioso cibo. L’ascensore era un po’ lento, come dicevano le persone, ma il condizionamento d’aria funzionava molto bene e, poiché era così caldo mentre eravamo li', era bello. Anche se avevamo una camera di ritorno, avevamo ancora una bella vista sul lago e il sole. La stanza era accogliente e aveva tutto, compreso un tavolo di caffè che molti altri hotel non avevano neanche, anche se dicevano di averlo fatto. Pensavamo che questo posto fosse molto affascinante.
