Had a night in Odessa, and having visited Ukraine almost every year since 2004, I have only ever spent one wet and windy afternoon in the city, so on a recent trip to Eastern Europe I was perpared to put that right. I knew Deribasonskaya Street was the main focal point of the city, so booked myself into the Frapolli, which has a great reputation in the city. Landed at Odessa Aiport at 11pm, and using the Bolt App to order a taxi (£5) I was at my hotel within 15 minutes drive. Checked in to my hotel in no time, it was a really nice hotel and while a little over budget for Ukraine, felt it was still good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, with a nice modern bathroom, and while bed was maybe a little on hard side, I had a quite room towards the back of the hotel and had a good nights sleep. Had a tour booked the next morning before transferring to Moldova, and they were happy for me to keep my bags in the hotel until I needed them. 24 hour Irish bar located next door, which you get a discount card for. All in all a good hotel and would have no issue with staying here again in future.
