From check in to check out everybody in a customer facing role was courteous, professional and most importantly friendly. A special mention to the three front of house staff who were working the Dinner service on August 1st, knowledgeable and enthusiastic for sure, but they managed to take it up a level and create a wonderful atmosphere Exceptional food from the chef and his brigade, I love a menu that is basically a page as opposed to a book, knowing that each dish is going to receive full attention. A Three course or a Taster menu are offered, on this occasion we didn’t order wine but the wines on offer are a perfect selection to complement the dishes The room was perfect, very comfortable and welcoming after a long drive, toiletries are from a local provider and are perfect whether you jump in the shower or soak in the Slipper Bath Breakfast was another winner, and again the front of house staff were wonderful. I’ve tried to think of any downsides to our stay and that’s proving difficult, initially I noticed the lack of a small room fridge but in all honesty on this occasion I doubt we would’ve used it anyway, I guess one would be handy for those who prefer milk with their tea/coffee instead of the provided UHT portions which look wrong in most hotel rooms to be fair Checkout again was really smooth after breakfast and a last walk around the gardens. If you’re looking for a 5 star experience 25 mins away from Three counties Showground then this is it. Car parking is right in front of reception. Which is in a Dutch barn across courtyard from rooms. Our room was a superkingsize bed, very comfy, with a small sofa in the corner. Tea,coffee bics and a bottle of water provided. Breakfast was on first floor of Dutch barn. We were in abit of rush as had to be at showground for 9, but it was great. Full breakfast looked delicious. We would recommend and will stay here again. It’s an easy w5 mins from Showground. That’s with busy traffic too.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms and lovely setting with plenty of outside seating areas and attractive lounge area. We were a family group of 10 with a baby, celebrating a 60th birthday. We had a delicious 3 course dinner and excellent breakfasts. What made it most special was the very warm welcome and the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. Really good location with lots to visit in the surrounding area. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Absolutely appalling customer service. If the WiFi is not working you’re completely cut off from the outside world. Now I can understand that can be difficult to solve. But the way I was spoken to and the complete lack of trying to solve this in a manner that suits the room price left me very angry and completely baffled. The general manager just kept repeating the same sentence in a patronising tone. What a way to treat customers.

This was our first visit to Eckington Manor,we came with friends who were celebrating a forthcoming 80th birthday what a lovely place,the accommodation was first class we had dinner here on our third night it was a three course gourmet meal,everyone enjoyed it ,it was clean plates all round,would highly recommend ,we will come here again,first class service from all the staff,well done. My sister-in-law and myself attended the day cookery class. It was brilliant from start to finish. Learnt loads, met some lovely people and made a fabulous meal. The course teacher Chef (Glyn) was excellent: informative, interesting and obviously very skilled. Thank you very much!

A superb overnight stay (we had the Foodie Heaven package)...lovely, efficient staff, great food in the evening and at breakfast and a fabulous characterful room with huge, super comfy bed. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay the best possible. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent birthday meal with my family. The food was superb and the staff were both friendly and professional. I was the best meal in a restaurant, that I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place. It was well worth the money in my opinion.
