Hotel in zona Templo y Convento de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, Oaxaca

The hotel is great, very comfortable, clean and well designed. Its centrally located and has quick access to most attractions in the city. HOWEVER, they had the brilliant idea to hire a musical group that plays marimba from 9am to 11:30am and would not let us sleep. We were a group of about 20 guests visiting for a wedding and therefore would need to be able to rest in the morning. We all had our sleep disrupted by this music. After the first night I complained to the manager bitterly and asked him to please consider their guests capacity to rest. He responded that this music was part of the hotel’s breakfast experience and he would be playing the music. Again it did not allow us to sleep in the morning. We also had a bad experience with room service. For this reason I consider the experience 1/5 because the service is terrible. It is unbelievable to me that a hotel would bot consider the needs of their guests. We were 20 and all had the same complaint. I hope this comment serves to help then reconsider the decisions they make regarding music in the mornings.

We loved the Hotel Escondido Oaxaca – the location was excellent and the Escondido was a welcome shelter at the end of each long day of touring. The city views from the rooftop bar were a huge bonus. The decor was contemporary, yet the colors and style drew directly from Oaxaca – the greens in the room were very much reminiscent of the cantera verde found virtually everywhere in Centro. We were pleased at how private our room was, despite the fact that our balcony room overlooked a shared courtyard. Of course, when the rooms were occupied below, sometimes it didn't register for the patio room guests that their voices would carry so clearly to the upper floors of the courtyard. Our balcony room was small and could have used a few more hooks, but there was ample, creative storage in the entryway closets. More hangers would have been useful, as we were at the hotel for a week. It rained nearly every afternoon and parts of most nights, which was fantastic due to room's open walls. It was also handy that we could close them, given the noise of the cantina across the street during Oaxaca Pride. I will note that Oaxaca is a city and overall is very noisy. If you're sensitive to noise, pack ear plugs! The hotel service was excellent, with a doorman greeting us at the front entrance 24/7 and a nearly invisible cleaning staff taking care of our room each day. We closed out our room credit card the night before due to the early hour of our departure, but didn't expect the time to register with the desk clerk. We were pleasantly surprised to find the doorman waiting outside our door at 4:15 a.m. to carry our bags out for our 4:30 a.m. hotel departure.

Siamo un gruppo di 17 soggiorni qui. Anche nella camera n. 311 che è una spaziosa suite junior. Le camere sono OK, tranne che la lavanderia non è davvero adatto per una stanza, piuttosto, un ristorante. Trouble sono venute quando ho sentito il lavandino del mio amico mancava un oggetto. Poi ho controllato rapidamente il mio lavandino e abbastanza vero, e anche un oggetto mancava; proprio quella notte, ho preso la concierge e, apparentemente, come era una camicia, l'hanno messo su un pendello, invece di piegarlo. Le mutandine della stanza n. 312 sono state mescolate con le mutandine delle altre stanze, fortunatamente appartengono al nostro gruppo. Puoi immaginare se le tue vestiti sono state mescolate con gli ospiti che avevano controllato e non hanno esaminato il lavandino come non avevo? Un altro amico ha pagato oltre 300 pesos per solo 3 pezzi. Dopo aver ricalcolato, ha solo bisogno di pagare ＜$50. Cosa è successo è che il ricevitore ha pagato altri gruppi’ conto ai miei amici! Wifi era anche debole e continua a disaccoppiare. Ho dovuto chiedere un'altra password WiFi perché la mia non funzionava nonostante numerosi tentativi, che, naturalmente, era frustrante. Pertanto, nonostante la sua spaziosa camera con 2 scrivanie e due sedie, non si aspetta di poter svolgere un lavoro significativo, poiché il wifi è infiabile. Ma questo hotel funziona davvero a malapena a standard minimi.

Ho avuto tutta la famiglia, ho fatto un viaggio d'affari e ho scelto di avere qualche giorno di pausa per la famiglia insieme al viaggio. L'hotel è molto buono, sembra la sua età, ma è ben tenuto, nessun problema. il servizio era impeccabile. il cibo mattina era molto buono, il manager del ristorante faceva un servizio eccezionale. abbiamo avuto una cattiva esperienza in un'Indipendenza La festa è stata fatta in un altro posto e ho chiamato l'hotel, abbiamo avuto aiuto, hanno salvato la festa e abbiamo avuto una serata sorprendente. Non siamo andati in piscina, era congelato fuori e non abbiamo preso alcuna possibilità..

Molto buona posizione, bella vista e giardini ampie che vale la pena di camminare, per il mio gusto solo metterebbe un palestra. Da qui tutto eccellente ci piace e naturalmente ci riusciremmo a ospitare lì.
