Rosa Mexicano

This is the perfect little boutique hotel for a stay close to the historic centre. We walked to every cathedral, the botanical gardens and the huge cultural museum, which I highly recommend. Our room had a very comfortable queen bed, fridge, smart tv, two nights tables, a coffee pot and two reading lamps. We came down with a respiratory tract infection while there so had to extend our stay by a week and were grateful that we had such clean, comfortable surroundings while recovering. There’s a nice big shared patio - it was right outside our room, and fruit, cake & coffee free most mornings. It was very quiet but for street noise - we were facing the street, and our room was kept spotlessly clean by a friendly cleaner. Note: staff does not speak English but they are patient. The front door to the hotel was locked one day when we returned from lunch, and nobody was on site nor did anyone pick up when I tried to call. I contacted ******* and they emailed management who came and let us in. Apparently there is a code that we were not given. Most likely we were told about it but not shown, and our Spanish is not strong enough to have grasped an explanation. Make sure you have the code.
