Premier Inn Nuneaton/Coventry

Room cost increased by 25% in 30mins due to DYNAMIC PRICING so I was told. Air conditioning unit didn’t produce any heat. The shower pressure kept fluctuating. Car park was very muddy and with lots of mushy leaf debris. Restaurant was very warm.

A conveniently situated hotel, we arrived in the dark and missed the poorly lit entrance. The car park was being used by a driving school both when we arrived and left which was unhelpful as it was nearly full. The entrance to this older converted property was slightly odd being to the side off the building. We were warmly greeted at reception but were disappointed to see a sign stating that there was no hot water. We were told that another room could be available for us to use to shower in the morning. As it turned out, we did have hot water although it was brown with significant sediment. The room was very hot on arrival, fortunately the temperature was adjustable and had an opening window. Contractors were working in the corridor outside the room and in the roof space above. The vending machine was inoperative when we tried to buy soft drinks. We ate in the restaurant for an evening meal which was not very appetisingly. In fact, one of our party identified some suspicious taste in their food and was ill later that evening. Breakfast was fine. Overall, a very poor experience and at £150 for the room, conspicuously overpriced.

We were greeted on entry with a smile by the lovely Kelly. She was very friendly and informative on what offers we could have as we had booked room only. Our room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant next door is good value and the food lovely. We were just visiting family for a couple of days; but this premier inn was where we used before, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

I have stayed several times at the Premier Inn, Nuneaton when I visit family living nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are great. Kelly checked me in and was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a little disappointing. You have to order it from the kitchen (rather than the buffet you get in some places) but it was still only lukewarm. There is no lift so make sure you book a ground floor room if the stairs would be difficult for you. Overall, a comfortable stay.

I come here every year with my son who takes part in the UK Rubik’s Cube Championships & Coventry Football Stadium. Easy hotel to find, perfect location with a pub attached that does a perfect breakfast & dinner. Excellent food & drinks. I made a mess of my booking this year but thankfully Kelly sorted this over the phone. Couldn’t recommend this high enough 👍🏻

One of the best stays we have had at premier inn friendly atmosphere a personal shout out to Kelly on Reception great friendly experience , nice quiet room and had a great nights sleep . Will be definitely staying here again in amazing setting.Thanks again Kelly.
