Extremely Poor Accommodation Experience at Gold Coast Longue Suites
Booked 5 nights at Gold Coast Longue Suites and had an extremely poor accommodation experience. Do not book here.
1. Started contacting the hotel via WhatsApp at 1:30 PM, but no one responded. Followed up every hour, but the WhatsApp contact on the booking information page kept redirecting me to another person.
2. Finally reached the hotel after 4 PM, and they said they would send someone to check us in. I understand the need to pay a deposit, but when I asked when it would be refunded, the person became very impatient and even tried to take money from my wallet. I was extremely angry on the spot. If checking out is as troublesome as checking in, I would rather not stay.
3. Unable to get a refund. After waiting for over 3 hours without being able to check in, I proactively contacted customer service to request a refund or change to another hotel due to the poor service attitude. They refused to refund, claiming contractual spirit. Is their idea of contractual spirit to leave guests hanging without responding and then trying to take their money? Ultimately, I had to compromise, but I will definitely not stay here again in the future.
4. Thanks to TRIP.COM for actively contacting the hotel for me. I finally checked in at 8 PM. From 1:30 PM to 8 PM, it took almost 7 hours to check in.
The low rating of this place is justified. Do not book here.
