Google room was tidy. Kettel, linen etc was tidy/working. Bathroom is small. Exhaust present. No wiper, which is necessary if bathing area is very small. Shampoo and soap provided. Towels were clean. Parking present adequate numbers. Some cottages require stairs to climb. A basic restaraunt present near parking. Swimming pool present. Staff was very helpful. Mosquito repallant also given. Location is a bit interior and not on main road. Need a vehicle for anytime movement as autos are not here nearby.

Decent location for stay at old goa, i paid around 10k for two days and felt its over priced for the small room where you don’t have proper hot water and no good geyser for hot water. Instant geyser they had in the room and it took lot of time to get even 1 bucket of hot water.

VVARENYAMIl mio soggiorno al Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon a Goa è stato un'esperienza eccezionale che ha superato le mie aspettative. La camera che mi era stata assegnata non solo era comoda, ma anche con un bagno molto spazioso, migliorando il comfort e il lusso complessivo del mio soggiorno. Le strutture dell'hotel sono state di prima qualità, con la piscina particolarmente accentuata, a causa dell'atmosfera invitante e della sua condizione di prigione.
La cucina del Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon è stata anche impressionante. L'ampia gamma di opzioni di colazione disponibili ogni mattina è stato un piacevole modo di iniziare il giorno, cucinando con una varietà di gusti e preferenze. Vi India 4G 12:28 AM 62% ＜ Double Tree by Hilton Goa - Panaji is an excellent property which is surrounded by lush green cover and over looks the majestic river Mandovi. We were on a vacation and wanted to split our time in the hustle bustle and high octane North Goa and so chose this property. the property came with Hilton assurance and our past experience with the luxury chain. The property is just 5 kms from Panjim main market and easily drive able with no traffic. once you reach the property, you are welcome with a typical Goanese style architecture with large conical atrium area. The check in was smooth courtesy Shweta at the reception. We were also offered welcome drink (branded bottled one which did not go well with the property) but we got to have a traditional chocolate cookies which is a regular at all Double Tree by Hilton. Room was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The highlight of the property is the infinity pool overlooking the expansive forest area and the Mandovi river. The GM Mr Shiv Bose and Tapan were quite courteous while we had sumptuous and large spread buffet breakfast. Personalised sweet assortment due to 26th Jan was a good touch. Overall great place to stay unless you have to stay on the beach in Gow

We had an amazing 5 nights stay at the Hilton Goa! Right from the moment we arrived at the hotel, the warm reception we received made us smile as we were a lot delayed due to torrential rains. The rooms had decent interiors and the river view from the balcony was mesmerising especially during sunsets! I should specially mention Mr. Waseem who is the housekeeping manager, he took extra care of us and saw to it our stay was comfortable and each of our requests was taken care of. Infact he changed our room to the best view one on our request almost immediately. He was kind enough to always attend to us with a smile and a helpful attitude. I should also mention Mr. Subhranil the F&B incharge who made sure that we received a fantastic in room F&B service and sometimes went above & beyond to made our stay delightful! The breakfast buffet spread was great and ala-carte food was lip smacking! I should also mention Mr. Chaitanya the concierge incharge who helped us plan the trip superbly and also arranged a local driver for us. The car was in premium condition too. The restaurant manager, the chefs, the receptionists, even the security everyone always attended to us with a smile. The resort was beautiful in the midst of lush greens. Overall we had a lovely stay, the staff made it even better! We would certainly recommend the river view rooms on a higher floor, as well as the spacious suite rooms. We would certainly love to come back to Hilton the next time we are in North Goa. Thanks to everyone for making our stay absolutely memorable!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The room was big and clean and cool. The bathroom was nice, however they only give you one tiny toilet roll, spare would’ve been nice. We had two big bottles of water in our room but our room did not get cleaned or replenished during our stay. The beach bar (Bongos) had really friendly staff and good service. The food was nice and also cheap. There is a private beach area, which is nice but also far from the sea in low tide. There’s also a nice pool area which is lovely if you need a break from the sea and sand. It’s a very rustic place, the huts looked really cool however our room was very pleasant. All rooms have an outdoor seating area. Baga beach itself is pretty hectic, so this is a nice distance away from the party *****, but not too far to walk. We didn’t get a Tuk Tuk or taxi once when we were there as there is plenty within walking distance from the hotel.

The overall experience was excellent. Right from the room (we booked the executive suite), which was well furnished, beds were comfy and the pillows were also great. The bath was also great, super shower heads. Amenities are basic, not sure if would get them on demand. The food experience was amazing, we had dinner a few times at the Waterfront Cafe and the chef sent out some great Tiger Prawns, the Poisson was delicious. Breakfast was a large selection of good tasting food, the dosa and eggs counter did an excellent job as well. Service was great, Sahil was very responsive. Spa experience was also satisfying, we got a mix of Balinese, Swedish and some Foot Reflexology, the spa rooms were good, sauna was also effective. The highlight was the walk to the beach, crossing a nice little river filled with fish, the beach is vast and even, great for a walk/jog. Sunrise and sunsets were a treat and the weather during the evening was also cool. A nice selection of Indies were around, they would accompany us to the water, play with us but never crossed over the bridge to the resort. Overall resort design is first class, with abundant use of local wood and stone. Lots of pools, the main one has some great music playing all the time. Check in and check out was smooth and easy, staff very helpful, Mandrem beach and Riva are a magical combination.

UUtente ospiteThe location is right on the beach and near to lots of bars and restaurants. At the moment, there is a rule in Arambol about live music stopping at 10pm so it isn't overly loud. You can hear the sea when the music is not playing. It is at the quieter end of Arambol beach (regarding sunbathing tourists) which I liked but there is still music playing. This may or may not appeal.
The room was basic, but clean when I arrived. I stayed for 6 nights, and they never came into my room. Not to clean, not to empty the bathroom bin. Not for any reason. That is fine by me as I am ok to empty my own bin, but may bother others. The linens and towels were old but clean.
Weirdly, I asked for an extra toilet roll after day 4, and I was told I was entitled to only one but that they would make an exception! The length of your stay appears to be irrelevant to the amount of provisions. They also didn't provide a top sheet. I asked for one and he seemed uncertain if I cold have one and said he would let me know later, then forgot (and apologised later). They said I had a blanket and could use that - but those are rarely cleaned so I didn't want to use it next to my skin. It was actually okay as I didn't end up needing it, but if there had been lots of mosquitoes there would have been zero barrier.
The owners were friendly and said hello whenever I passed them.

UUtente ospiteI stayed for five nights and paid 16,700 Indian Rupees, which is about 172 British Pounds. This means that I paid 34 Pounds per night. What did I get for 34 Pounds a night? Read below: “Hotel”?: It is NOT a hotel. Stop advertising it as a “hotel”. Reception: This is essentially the front house where the family that runs Garden Villa lives. You will not see anyone most of the time at the “reception” and will need to stand at the steps/entrance and look into the house expectantly and someone will come out and attend to you. That is reception for you. Garden: The “garden” is essentially a few patches of grass and a few average looking plants that grow nearly everywhere in Goa. If you are lucky, you will get a room that overlooks this “garden”. If you are not lucky, you will have a view overlooking a back street, or worse. Swimming Pool: Don’t be fooled by the swimming pool. It is a really small and shallow pool in open air – let us face it, Indians don’t have much of a swimming pool tradition/culture. The pool is about 10-15 meters from a very dusty and busy road. The pool is not covered so you can imagine dust, bird droppings, debris from trees, and heavens know what, fall into the pool. During my five-days stay, I did not see anyone cleaning it. I saw only once someone using it - a group of young Indian men having what looked like a bath. WiFi: Poor and intermittent. I would not say more. Room: Utterly utterly average room with a double bed, a table, a coat hanger, a TV (see below), a mirror, and small bucket as a dustbin (see photos). Absolutely nothing else. TV: NO FREE CHANNELS. TV was not connected to any network or cable in my room. I needed to ask the reception three times to come and connect it with cable, dish, or anything. They finally put a plug-in device (a kind or WiFi access point), which enabled the TV to receive Amazon Prime, Netflix, and some Indian channels. BUT you must pay for them. They are NOT free. Mattress and pillow: Utterly poor quality and old mattress and pillow, which hadn’t been well maintained and cleaned. The Garden Villa ***agement tried to cover the old mattress with a foam cover which was a little short and shrunk at the corners (see photos). Bathroom: Probably the worst bathroom you will get for 34 British Pounds a night. Toilet was old and rickety, paint was peeling off the walls and also off the rusty toilet door. Sink, taps, and mirror were looked uncleaned with signs of mould (or mold). Fridge: NO FRIDGE IN THE ROOM. Again, in most hotels you will find a fridge but not at Garden Villa. If you are in Goa, you cannot do without a fridge. It is very warm and hot throughout the year, and you will badly miss a fridge. But sadly rooms come with NO FRIDGE. Room service: You will need to ask the “reception” for someone to come around and clean the room. If you don’t ask, no-one is going to come around. Restaurant: No restaurant at Garden Villa.
