We stayed at this hotel for one night on our Norwegian motorcycle tour destined for the North Cape. We found the hotel clean and had nice views from our windows. The receptionist was welcoming and explained on arrival that there is no bar as the hotel is a dry one. We were told that the restaurant opened at 7.45 and we expected an a la carte menu. It turned out to be a buffet and the worst food we have encountered in Norway. Everything was cold, including the packet sliced pork, the potatoes, the frozen vegetables and the sweet and sour chicken. We asked what the vegetarian option was and were told this needed pre ordering. So my vegetarian friend had a small amount of lettuce, grated carrot and a cold potato and went to bed hungry. For this we were charged 295NOK each. Or we would have been had I not complained. So between the 4 of us we paid for 2 very poor meals. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and is massively let down by it's food. I assume as it's the only restaurant in the area, they feel they can get away with it. Thanks for the stay but sadly we won't be back.

We visited Innvik Fjordhotell, not far from Stryn, in June 2023. The hotel is a nice place in a quiet village, with a strong Christian influence. It is known as “the mission hotel” and there is a room available for prayer or meditation. On our desk, there were two books: “The New Testament” and “When God Intervened”. We realized that this was not a typical hotel when we parked our car next to the Mission Hall in the same building. The hotel was clean, maybe not very modern, but well-maintained. It was fine for a one-night stay. There was a soccer match on TV, which had poor reception and quality. There was only one TV channel and luckily it showed the match. Our room was neat and tidy. The internet was good enough for me, although I rarely use public networks. The room had a narrow balcony, with a beautiful view of the fjord. There was a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet, not gourmet, but decent and filling. A storm came over the fjord and we saw several lightning strikes, which was great entertainment. This hotel was a pleasant and comfortable place to stay, even if it was not the most remarkable or the best one. We are a couple in our 50s.

Comfortable stay. Clean, modern room with Fjord view. New bathroom, good shower. Bright room. Breakfast basic continental breakfast. No complimentary kettle/tea/coffee in room. More words to fill up word quota.

Accueil bienveillant et attentionné un jour de fête nationale ou tout est fermé. Il nous est proposé pour repas du soir un buffet d'une incroyable qualité pour un prix plus que raisonnable.idem pour le petit déjeuner qui est inclus dans le prix de la chambre et qui est tout autant excellent. Chambre de bonne dimension avec terrasse et vue sublime sur le fjord. Excellent confort de la literie. Merci surtout pour la qualité de l'accueil et la bienveillance attentive dans la prise en compte d'une allergie alimentaire par la propriétaire.

Het enige hotel wat open was kn deze buurt in deze tijd van het jaar. Back in time: het lijkt wel of de tijd heeft stilgestaan sinds de jaren 70. Kamer erg standaard, wel netjes. Douche cabine echt niet meer van deze tijd.Avondeten in het hotel zeer basic, ontbijt buffet ook maar wel prima. Ik zou in het vervolg wat anders kiezen of ze moeten dit hotel gaan renoveren naar 2021 tijd
