PRO: Stupenda vista lago (anche se la camera con vista lago è costata 30€ di supplemento). Colazione ottima e varia. Parcheggio gratuito proprio di fronte all’hotel. Internet disponibile. Rapporto qualità prezzo nella media, per gli standard Norvegesi CONTRO: Ascensore “rotto” (in piena stagione) per cui ci siamo fatti 2 piani a piedi con valige enormi. Appena arrivati alla reception non c’era nessuno, solo un cartello, peraltro esclusivamente in norvegese (almeno in inglese no?)… abbiamo atteso un po’ poi abbiano dovuto telefonare affinché arrivasse qualcuno per il check in, un ragazzo biondo poco cordiale, sinceramente. Non dico che si debba essere il massimo della simpatia o cordialità, ma quando lavori col pubblico magari un sorriso ci starebbe bene. Stanza un po’ piccolina.

LLKRL88L'ospite non era in giro quando siamo arrivati, ma c'era un numero di telefono nella stanza di ricezione e le cose sono state ordinate rapidamente. La cabina è bella con buone strutture. Bella zona vicino all'acqua. Non c'erano ristoranti vicini aperti in questa stagione (10 settembre), quindi siamo andati al supermercato per comprare alcuni pasticci per cucinare. La cucina è molto completa per cucinare un pasto decente, tutto è disponibile, compreso sale, pepe e olio. Bella moderna e pulita bagno. Confortabile letto e un divano grande per rilassarsi e guardare la TV. Buono valore per i soldi.

My husband and I stayed at the Hjelle Hotel in September 2023 right before they closed for the season. I am so glad we did! We loved everything about this hotel. We had a beautiful view of the lake with a balcony. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. Glad we paid extra for the room with the view. We ate at the hotel restaurant several nights. These were the best meals we had during our time in Norway. The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the owner Lorenz and his staff. Lorenz was kind and welcoming and always ready to give suggestions for hikes and places to visit in the area. His staff was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed getting to know them as well. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. If we had it to do again we would have shortened our stay in Bergen to add more nights at the Hjelle Hotel.
