Roch castle is a beautifully restored 12th century stone castle with a long and interesting history. We were blown away by how tasteful and considerate the renovation was. It was if we’d stepped back in time. The girls working there we’re really lovely and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was excellent. We have booked to return next year, couldn’t fault it.

This was our fifth stay with you and we love it. The castle is beautiful and unique. The rooms are so comfortable and there's always a touch of luxury about them all. The views are spectacular. We stayed for the dining event and it was great success! The staff food and ambience were a delight. We made new friends through the evening it was great making new memories

My friend was visiting from Vancouver and we always arrange a few days away. Staying in a 5*castle was a real treat for her. Beautiful architect designed rooms, top quality fittings and everything you need. Staff are amazing, not intrusive but really can’t do enough for you. Took iour own tapas and wine from Spanish deli in Narberth for our evening meal. As staff aren’t around in evening they set up the table for us in dining area. Would I go again? Absolutely.

Built by Norman knight Adam de Rupe in the second half of the 12th century, probably on the site of an earlier wooden structure. Roche is the usual French word for rock, while rupestre signifies a plant growing among rocks, The castle was purchased in 2008 by Keith Griffiths and was restored as a hotel. Completed in 2013, the restoration was designed by Griffiths and Acanthus Holden. The hotel has won a number of awards.

Stunning in every way! Top marks for service, comfort, hospitality and views. Highly recommend this amazing B & B- truly a highlight from a wonderful trip. The breakfast was delicious, so many delicious choices- fruit, pastries and eggs with mushrooms- left with full bellies. What a treat.

What a magnificent experience to stay here, we couldn’t fault it at all. Beautifully restored castle. Staff were amazing, they couldn’t do enough for us. Will return when we are in the area. 100% recommendation and with the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast near by, it’s simply a win, win combination.

Of all the accommodations we booked for this vacation, this is the one that we were anticipating the most and we were not disappointed. What a great experience. The hotel lives up to all the 5-star reviews. Our room (we stayed in the Ab Gryuffydd) was immaculate, comfortable, luxurious, and most of all unique. Even though the weather didn't cooperate as much as we would've liked (this is Western Wales after all, so...rain, fog, and mist are common), our views towards Newgale and the coast were still fantastic. The full Welsh breakfast, cooked to order was the best I've had on the trip. My wife had the poached eggs and bacon and were also very good. They offer a variety of other options for breakfast, included salmon and eggs (my choice for tomorrow morning. The common areas are fantastic, with a large living room area and glass-enclosed lounging/dining area on the second level. The hotel offers an honor bar with an assortment of liquors, wines, and beers. But, most of all, the coolest thing was that we got to stay in a 12th century Norman castle in total style and comfort. It was definitely worth the extra expense and I would recommend this experience to anyone coming to the Pembroke Coast/St. David's area.

The staff are attentive, friendly, gracious, helpful and just lovely. The castle is breathtaking. The rooms are well appointed and the common area is comfortable. The wall walk offers great views to take in the Pembrokeshire coast and wind. We would love to come again with a group of friends or family.

Not only is the castle outstanding beautiful on the outside but the internal renovation is stunning. The very highest spec used in all elements of it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic both the regular and veggie. Would highly recommend staying for a minimum of two nights to really make the most out of it.
